Beautiful home away from home

The property was very nice, open, accommodating, and cozy. We had everything we needed there so didn’t need to haul a bunch of stuff from home. The yard was great for lawn games. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome place for a family vacation

It was a perfect cabin for a large family gathering. Clean, well stocked and close to amenities. We appreciated the number of sleeping surfaces. The kids could spread out which was great. The cabin was tidy and had everything we needed. We would recommend this cabin and we will likely come back! Thank you again for a great family vacation. Take care, Mallory

Scotch Creek - Family Vacay!!

Great house for a family

We had a great stay at Shuswap Lake Lodge. There were 8 of us, grma, grpa, mom, dad and 4 kids ranging from 4-15. There was enough space for all the kids to find little corners where they could have their own space. We had fun pool tournaments in the evenings a couple of times. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed and the house was spotless. Owners easy to communicate with. There were a couple of items that were not urgent, but I wanted the owner to be aware. They were fixed the same day, which we were not expecting. We walked to the provincial park/beach, walked for ice cream, lots of trails for bike riding with the kids, and taking dogs for a walk. The traffic was a bit noisy so the evenings outside were not as quiet as we would have liked, but later in the evening it would quiet down and we would stay outside star gazing every night. We really enjoyed our stay here. 😃

The perfect family retreat

This property has something for every person of every age. The location is incredible as you can walk to so much. The house is spacious and is stocked with everything you might need. My son in law was riding his bike and a vehicle didn't see him and cut him off. The first aid case had everything we needed in it other than polysporin, but the store is only a minutes drive away. We had bocce ball tournaments (our own set) and pool table tournaments almost every night. Star gazing is very good as well. We hope to come back soon.

Spacious property, okay location

We had a nice stay at Scotch Creek Lodge. The location of the property is central but very close to the road. If you’re trying to relax on the deck there is a lot of traffic noise, which is certainly a deterrent to sitting outside. There are a lot of “pockets” in the house to facilitate people hanging out, without disturbing others in the group. Kitchen was well-equipped and BBQ worked great. We did have to request more towels and toilet paper for our large group, but the manager was prompt with providing them for us. The beds were comfortable and overall we had a great stay.

Good for a group

We were a group of 12 adults and 3 infants. This had lots of common area where we could cook, eat, lounge and play billards. Manager was highly responsive and great to interface with. Highway adjacent was a little loud, but overall the property was great value.

Tiffany was very responsive, and Scotch Creek Lodge as described! Convenient location, close to the beach, hiking/biking trails, marina for boat rental, and grocery store / shopping amenities.

The place is nice location is good lots of activity’s to take in.

Renting property is good. Dealing with owners on rentals rates and deposits and payment is super easy. Couple beds need to be upgraded from what they are now. Cleanliness was ok luandry services on site make it easy.

This place is a gem!! Totally exceeded expectations. Perfect location. Close to the water. Fantastic breakfast right next door. The only negative was the poor wifi. All around was a wonderful trip.

Great family weekend!

We very much enjoyed a long weekend's stay as a large family at this property. The pool table was a hit and it was an enjoyable place to hang out together. Probably the only complaint was that the beds were too hard and left people lacking in sleep. The location is a little more isolated but we knew exactly where we were headed. We enjoyed a walk by the Adams River and some walks and bike rides around the area and to the beach at the Provincial Park and playgrounds. It was a great family time. Very cozy and relaxing on a cool Fall weekend! Would definitely recommend it to others, especially if the comfort of the beds would be addressed a bit more. Three TV's with lots of DVD's to choose from. Kitchen was very equipped and spacious enough including a large fridge and convection oven. And the communication with the Property Manager was superb, very quick and helpful. Thanks for a great weekend at your Lodge!

Had a great time. Had 6 adults. Honestly wouldn’t put more than 3 adults in this property. Room for lots of kids. Beds need work.

Great Family friendly place to stay

Clean, and taken care of well; any issue and the on-site host was there to help. Fit our family of 10 nicely plus allowed our in-laws to park there trailer there too. Pool table was a hit with our kids. Beach access was a little further then we thought it would be but that didn’t slow us down. Security deposit was returned promptly as well.

Great People

This was a clean and neat property. It was easy to rent as the property manager and on site manager were wonderful to work with. There are lots of beds, although many are in common areas, and lots of parking and room for RV. Being close to Shushwap Provincial park is awesome. The house is a little older and has an interesting layout but is stocked very well. It is noisy being so close to the road. All in all a wonderful place to stay!

Excellent stay

The house was immaculate and stocked with all essentials needed for our stay. The only thing that would have made it perfect would be had it not been fronted but the highway. However, it was very conveniently located. We had a large family group and everyone had space for themselves. Our damage deposit was returned promptly. We would definitely stay again.

This property is great

We stayed there for Christmas break with another family. The lodge was very clean and fully stocked. We had a great time. The park at the lake is walking distance close. The lodge has a lot of activities for the kids (DVD player with lots of DVDs, pool table and toys), which allowed us (the adults) to spend some quiet time in front of the fireplace with a glass of drink.

Great for group stays and events

Very convenient location to the park and beach. The place has lots of room both inside and out. 10 of us stayed there comfortably. The kitchen is well supplied with even a crockpot! A couple disappointments - Did not realize the road it is on is so busy with summer traffic. And the pull out couch was uncomfortable but that still left 3 queen beds, a bunk bed, and multiple single fold down beds to sleep on.
