Shipyard Condominiums sont situés dans la prestigieuse communauté fermée de Truman Annex, dans la vieille ville de Key West. Les condos sont situés à 2 pâtés de maisons de Duval Street et de toutes les attractions de la vieille ville Key West. Les propriét��s se trouvent également à ¼ de mile du parc national de Fort Zachary Taylor. La propriété est équipée avec laveuse / sécheuse, casseroles / poêles, serviettes, draps, ont la climatisation centrale, parking dans la rue et l'accès à la piscine. Il s'agit d'une unité au rez-de-chaussée avec une magnifique cour paysagée située à côté de la piscine. A l’origine, une unité de 2 chambres qui a été convertie en une grande chambre avec salon élargi / zone de divertissement en fait l’unité spacieuse idéale pour les couples. Le salon a un canapé-lit pour les invités. La cuisine a été entièrement rénovée avec de nouveaux cabinets et des comptoirs en granit. Les planchers de bois franc et les carreaux de céramique pensaient. L'emplacement de stationnement est situé juste en face de l'unité.

Wonderful, Wonderful Place!

Great time

We enjoyed our stay at the condo very much!! The only complaint is the bed was very hard and uncomfortable as well as the pull out couches (which is typical for pull out couches). I had to take the cushions from the couch and put it on the bed so that I was able to sleep on it. Other than that the place was wonderful. We enjoyed the pool area too. Super quiet location we loved it!!!!

Thanksgiving Week Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Key West was amazing as usual. The Condo needs some help. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable, the little radio does not work at all, it'd be nice to have more than one frying/saute pan. needs a thorough cleaning, there was mold on the ceiling in the shower and the lighting in the place is inadequate. One of the lamps, the bulb was barely attached. It's all just very dated. Generally feel that the owners do not/have not put much effort into making this a nice condo. We've stayed at other condos in the Truman Annex with nicer a accommodations. The best thing about this condo is its location.

Last minute getaway

My husband and I were very pleased with unit, property and grounds. The property manager was friendly and was able to accommodate an early check-in. However, We had an issue on our last full day when a tree company came on to the property to trim trees which included limbs over our deck. We were unable to enjoy our unit, or property as they were working in our courtyard. This work also coincided with annual condo owner’s season opening party. We were asked to leave the pool for this event. If we had been notified beforehand of the tree work and party we could of changed or altered our plans that day. Management ignored our situation when it was brought to their attention. We requested a call from the property manager and never received one. Overall, the unit and location were great for our getaway.

Could have been better

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we very much enjoyed our first visit to Key West in April and liked the location and vibe of the Truman Annex, there were a few needed improvements that would have made our stay even better. I hope these comments will prove helpful.1) The dryer in our unit was not working. The replacement dryer was delivered the day before we left. Unfortunately, there were complications that prevented the unit from being installed. Prior to that the office provided us with a key to another unit so that we could have access to a dryer. While somewhat inconvenient, this was nevertheless both helpful and appreciated. However, when my wife made a return trip to use the dryer two days later she found people in the unit. Needless to say this was awkward and embarrassing for her.2) The unit next to ours was under construction for termite damage in the back wall. The noise and dust made using our deck unpleasant and impractical.3) The outside light by the front door was very bright. The window of our adjacent bedroom had a minimal shade which meant the sleeping conditions were not optimal. There was a damaged light in the living room and the track lighting was missing a bulb.4) While there is no accounting for taste, our unit was surprisingly dark with green and dark blue sofas for example. We were out during the day so this did not really impact us, but we certainly noticed the contrast when we visited in other units that were light, airy, and "Florida-ish."5) While we were not interested in the TV, I did not see any detailed information about how to operate it. While we worked around all of these issues, our overall experience could have been better. Attention to these matters on your part will be a plus for future tenants.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, but the unit has issues. Bathroom outlet trips every time you attach a hair blower to it. The bedroom door knob will lock if you open the door to the point that it almost touches the glass wall. There is a door stop , but the knob hits the wall before the door hits the door stop. The deck table is somewhat unstable and has masking tape or equivalent on the outside edge of the table.

Nice property overall

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked back in the Spring for MoTM Week in November. We've been doing MoTM since 2021 and originally had a different location booked that we used the year before. We came across this location and the pictures made it look immaculate. The cost was about $300.00 more than what we had booked, but switched over thinking it would be well worth the extra money. Most of the 1/1 properties are similar, with some being outdated and some newer. This location was nicer than some of the others, since it seems recently updated. Now comes the downside - the back deck area needs some TLC. We were unable to sit outside since the decking and furniture appeared to be moldy due to lack of sun. In our opinion, it wasn't worth the extra money we spent, but still a nice property overall.

Loved this condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in this condo in June. It was in a good location, about halfway down Duval and 2 streets over. We loved the large back porch, the extra large living room and the stand up shower. We used the washing machine daily and had fresh towels every day. The website doesn't begin to list everything this condo had. It had a blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, knives, corkscrew and can opener, all the dishes, silverware, bowls and storage containers you could need, and it even has an icemaker. You do have to bring your own dishwasher detergent, clothes washing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, sink soap etc, and they give you a "starter" set so you can buy them when you arrive. The bed was a Queen, and not too firm or too soft, not bad but not great either.It was quiet, the pool was close by and the Truman Annex is a lovely neighborhood close to all the fun in old town Key West. Highly recommend

Have to remove garbage can to open fridge or dishwasher.Bedroom has a dresser close to the bed, every time you want to go to bed, you have to watch the corner of the bed, otherwise you hit it and get bruising. Can't use the porch when it is raining. Definitely doesn't worth the money.

Good location, nice condo, but uncomfortably firm mattress.

We have been to Key West many times; this is an excellent location. This condo has a very firm mattress that was uncomfortable for our desires. We would go back to Truman annex but maybe a different condo.

Another FANTASTIC stay at the Shipyard.

It’s not just the place it’s also the people, we have become friends with the neighbors who own their homes and live there all winter. Our first stay was a week then we stayed two and I have booked 2022 for three.
