Great Spacious Property Located in the Heart of Fernie

We had a family vacation for 12 stay at the house. We rented the basement as well. The house is very spacious and first impression was the house looked better in person than the photos. Great location close to the restaurants and shops in downtown Fernie. This place is great if you're looking to have a large group stay instead of booking a bunch of hotel rooms. The hot tub was great for apres ski days as well. Would recommend staying at this place.

We stay here every time we go to Fernie.

We have spent 3 winter holidays at this house. It is clean, comfortable and has a well-equipped kitchen. There are some stairs to approach the house, but the unit itself is all on one level, which is great if you have young children. The owners of the property are very open and accommodating. It's a pleasure to stay here.

Comfortable and spacious home

We had a very pleasant time while staying at this property. I went with a group of 4 people and it was very spacious and a nice home to stay in. Everything worked fine when we were there and the hot tub was great after a long day of skiing. The house was close to downtown Fernie so going to the grocery store or shopping downtown was very close for us (5 minute walk to nearest grocery store). Overall we had a great stay and the house was very spacious for us.

great house, great location

Great house in a great part of town. Fernie was an awesome place to visit, and I would love to spend more time discovering all the trails. Ive never been anywhere with better trails from town. The house was very spacious and comfortable. It was great for our stay with our young daughter - 18 months, who had lots of room to roam around the house without getting into trouble.

beautiful house and great location

We spent a week in this great house during our summer holiday. The location of the house is perfect; walking distance to Fernie center with all the nice the cafes and restaurants and biking distance to the beginners bike trails. The house is really spacious and we loved the kitchen. After a long day of activities the hot tub was a nice relax moment for us. The rooms and beds were comfortable. We would love to come back to this nice house.

Best VRBO rental we've stayed in!

We spent a wonderful two weeks skiing over spring break, and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean holiday home. The kitchen is just awesome! The hot tub was very welcome after a long day on the slopes. We loved being within walking distance of a kids' park and the centre of town. This was our first trip to Fernie and we'll be back! We'd love to stay here again. 100% recommended!

Great Location and house

We loved the house and location. Would recommend to the property and would love to come back. It was perfect for our multi-family ski trip. Not all of skied, so staying in town was ideal. Everything was in walking distance. We enjoyed the cafes and restaurants in town during the day. And used the awesome kitchen to cook every night. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Brought our own air mattress instead of using the hide-a-bed as suggested. Hot tub was a nice treat after a long day of skiing. Plenty of room for all the ski gear and baby stuff we brought.

Perfect Location

We stayed here for 3 nights during a mountain biking trip through the region. We were 6 guys on a mountain biking trip through the region and found this home to be exactly what we needed. Everything in town is within walking distance and the mountain bike trails on both sides of the valley are easily accessed right from the house. No need for your vehicle once you get here. This is probably the cleanest vacation rental I have ever stayed in. We could not have asked for anything more. Colette is a pleasure to do business with. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

Winter luxury in Fernie

Best holiday house we have ever stayed in, felt like home from day one. We stayed in upper level for 3 weeks, found it hard to leave. Steve and Colette have done a great job of ensuring guests have all they need for a luxury holiday in Fernie. Plenty of room for everyone, sensational kitchen , great bathrooms, awesome views, close to town ( easy walking distance ) and facilites, cruisy neighbourhood, decent Wi-Fi, hot tub down the back stairs and gas fireplace in lounge room made for very relaxing times after a day's riding. Thanks Steve and Colette for being part of a trip our family will remember forever.

Pre Xmas getaway

Pre Xmas getaway for two small families. Stayed in the upper rental for 3 nights and loved every bit of it. Huge kitchen and dining room, 3 spacious bedroom and a nice cozy entertaiment area. Plenty of room for ski gear, and also the extras for a baby. Close to downtown but still on a nice quiet street. Hot tub was a added bonus! Will stay again!!!

Birthday celebration

My family and friends joined joined me in Fernie at this gorgeous vacation rental to celebrate my 65th birthday. The kitchen is not only beautiful to look at, but is beautifully equipped to prepare a wonderful meal. The upper level, where we stayed, housed all 8 of us very comfortably. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. There was plenty of closet space and area for ski gear, etc. We all took advantage of the large hot tub. At the end of the day we gathered in the living room in front of the fireplace. It was the perfect get away.

Great for families!

We just arrived home from staying in this beautiful house! We had the entire house - upstairs and down. It was the ideal set up for 3 families. One family with 3 children slept downstairs and 2 families with 2 children each stayed upstairs. We had a TON of space to make ourselves at home and the kids were able to have their own separate space as well. The photos don't do this space justice - it's very open and can easily accommodate large groups. We had a few questions upon arrival and Colette answered us promptly and was very pleasant to deal with. Everything was spotless and sufficiently stocked. THANK YOU!

Family Fun (Calgary)

Our adult family enjoy a winter getaway during the ski season and this year it was Fernie. This home was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make our meals. The home offered space to relax around the dining table playing games, curl up around the fireplace, watch television, soak in the hot tub and much more! The owners were very accommodating and we had the pleasure of meeting them while we were there.This is a great home for any gathering! We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and look forward to another opportunity to enjoy this place!

Great location in Fernie, BC

The the property was the top floor of a house, but it was huge! There were 3 spacious bedrooms, a well appointed kitchen, a large dining room, and a comfortable living room. The hot tub was perfect after long days of skiing too! Steve was very friendly and was decent enough to accomodate us for a last minute trip. The location was close to everything one would need in Fernie and I would visit again in a heartbeat!

Excellent home, very spacious and comfortable

This was a great house to stay in. Lots of room for us to hang out in and not feel like we were walking over each other. The private hot tub was a perfect feature after playing on the snow all day. Not one complaint about the house. We'll be staying here again.

Great stay in Fernie, Dec 2013

We spent an early season weekend down in Fernie to take advantage of great early season ski conditions. We rented this home for the weekend which fit our needs perfectly. It is spacious (the kitchen is awesome!), modern and located on a quiet street that is close to downtown Fernie and all its amenities. Enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Enjoyed Our Summer Rental

We rented the top floor of the house for a week in the summer of 2013. There were seven of us, and this space worked out just right for us. The house is exactly as portrayed in the listing – no deceptive photos here. It was clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The location is fine – you can definitely hear the trains go by, but if that bothers you just keep your bedroom window closed. We left our window open and quickly got used to it. It’s only a short walk to downtown and the aquatic centre. Also quite close to excellent mountain biking trails. We had no real problems, and the helpful owner provided what little assistance we required quickly. The hot tub proved to be an excellent way to end busy vacation days. Would stay again.

Will Stay Again

We came out for the weekend getaway from Calgary and found this house bright, spacious and clean. It is located on a quiet street with ample parking. Had a great nights sleep, the beds were super comfortable. Downtown is a short walk to great restaurants and coffee shops. Owners were friendly and helpful.

Nice spacious house close to town

This was a great rental for my family, plus grandparents! It is close to town, spacious and comfortable. Only downside is its close to the train tracks so bring ear plugs or keep the windows closed. Would defiantly stay again!
