Great week at Disney

We had such a great and comfortable stay during our trip to Disney World! Everything was very clean, and check in and check out was a breeze. Using the QR code to enter the resort gates was troublesome, but the staff at Storey Lake was always very helpful and accommodating. We decided to add an extra night to extend our trip, and The Best Vacation Homes made that quick and easy! We would definitely choose this rental again and recommend to other families.

Hurricane Milton

We stayed here during our evacuation from Hurricane Milton. The home was nice, as advertised and felt safe! I walked my pup between rain bands and the neighborhood was nice and safe as well. I would stay here again.

Great Place

This home is outstanding , it accommodated my family perfect. Very close to the parks and restaurants and grocery stores. Neighborhood is very clean and easy to get too. We will for sure try to stay there again on our next trip to Orlando.

Great location and a great place to stay near Disney. The house was great and the kids loved the pool. Would definitely stay here again.

Thanksgiving at Storey Lake

We stayed in this home for Thanksgiving week. The house and neighborhood are really nice and close to Disney and Celebration. We were 5 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs and were very comfortable. The place is spacious. The owner provided a playpen, high chair and stroller! My kids especially liked the heated pool. I loved running in that area. We did thanksgiving brunch and had other family members come over and we had plenty of space to eat for 15 people. We created great memories and would love to return for a future. Next time we’ll try the club and its amenities. We passed by it and it looked awesome.

Great Birthday Weekend

I stayed the weekend to relax and enjoy my birthday with my two daughters. The house was gorgeous and looked just like the pictures. It was very nice and clean and a great location. I would love to stay there again on my next visit to Orlando.

Great location to Disney

Worked out great for us with older twenty one daughter and boyfriend and sixteen yr old daughter and friend. Went to Disney in mornings and left at lunch because of the heat and lazy river and our own pool was a blessing and very enjoyable. Couch definitely needs an upgrade, otherwise 4 br was perfect for us,

Beautiful Property just like the pictures

This was our first time trying a VRBO property and it went as smoothly as a hotel reservation. The property was as nice as the pictures showed and we really enjoyed ourselves. They were fast with getting back with me when I had questions. The only downside is that the furniture was a little cheap and you could feel the boards on the couch, but we weren’t there to watch tv so it wasn’t a big deal. We would definitely stay there again- it is a great property!

Close to Disney

We stayed here because we had passes to Disney. The house was clean…beds were comfortable. Very open space and high ceilings. Water pressure was great in showers. Pool was very clean. Appliances and kitchen etc was set up great! All that being said. The couch was terribly uncomfortable. The coffee table in the living room fell apart. Maintenance was great and fixed what we needed. I would suggest they replace the couch. Also, the glass kitchen table was quite large for the area, and all of us bumped into the corner of the glass table.

Nice place

Gated community. Very nice townhome close to parks but not too close. The extra cost to heat the pool was well worth the money. Set up of living area is beautiful but would be better with the dining table cleared of dishes and a more comfortable seating area. It’s beautiful just not super comfy or functional. Great communication with mgmt.

Overall good -but missing some things

We enjoyed our stay. It was super convenient that the house provided a pack n play. The amenities were very nice and the kids enjoyed the community pool area. We also enjoyed the small pool at the house, it was the perfect size for our young kids. Great location for a few days at Disney as well. Convenient location to groceries. The host was very kind and responsive. There are minimal supplies, pots, pans, etc for cooking. What was available was clearly old, food stuck, not convenient for cooking. There was one available dish towel for the entire week. We were provided with clean towels and hand towels- but there were no wash cloths. We were also surprised by the amount of glass and breakable things easily in reach of our toddler when we walked in. This was easily remedied as we put it all up and out of his reach while we were there. Even the dining room table was glass which made us nervous. Overall this is a cute place in a very nice area. We would stay again.

Great Stay!

Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Great, clean townhouse. Loved the little pool right there. The larger pool, lazy River & slides were fun too just a short ride away! Pay to heat the pool…well worth it! It was like bath water! Had an issue with the washer and fixed first thing Monday without us needing to be there! Very efficient. Also read a negative review about supplies such as toilet paper, paper towel, etc. They supply a lot of reusable essentials. It’s your job with a rental to purchase extra TP, paper towel, food, etc. at any rental. They supply the first and that’s normal. That’s a stupid complaint. Close to everything. Love that there’s the back road to avoid a lot of traffic. Takes you to Publix and more. There’s even a Target & Walmart nearby. Perfect rental and I’m very picky. Thanks

Avoid staying here, seriously shabby!

Clearly not cleaned or maintained. Found balloon remnants in master bedroom and pool area and large cobwebs in kitchen area. Dishwasher didn't work. Maintenance we're unable to fix or replace within our 2 weeks stay. One toilet flushing mechanism was broken. Bathroom fixtures loosely fitted or falling off the walls. The leather on the sofa was severely worn/flaking off. Had to call security regularly due to noise at night. Overall, the company managing this villa is doing the bare minimum!

Well-Appointed and Great Location

This property was perfect for our family trip to Disney World. Clean, nice layout, in a quiet, secure neighborhood. The only minor criticism was that there was no hand soap anywhere in the home - a bit odd since all the other typical amenities were provided.

Indifferent about stay

Overall, the experience was okay. The house was clean and location was prime for anything you’d want to do in Orlando. We had a few issues with the unit listed below, but managed without these being resolved. We experienced the following issues: Front gate didn’t accept the code/scan that we were told to use No Dishwasher powder Dishwashing liquid We ran out of Paper towels and toilet paper No trash bags Leaking refrigerator Broken ice machine in fridge Faulty outlets in master bathroom and downstairs bedroom

Convenient location to parks

Overall a good experience and would stay again - only issue was that they are a pet friendly property and apparently through the booking process the fact we had dogs was missed until I made a phone call and disclosed I had pets - to get hit with. 300.00 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with two days left of a 9 day stay was a bit off putting - but the young lady that dealt with us was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience. So just make sure they are aware of your pets and you should have a nice stay Also if proximity to the parks is a focus they are located in a great spot for Disney - at no point during my stay did it take longer than 15 min. To be parked on Disney property or back at the condo for a quick bite or a rest - I’d stay again

Just exactly what you see

I appreciate the extra steps for covid precautions such as by wrapping the towels within its own bag. The property is within 15 minutes to the disney parks. Very cute home! Property was very accommodating and responds promptly! Will definitely return!

This was a great place to stay for our family of 5. The property is very nice snd clean, just as advertised. I was able to communicate with the property manager at any time and a response was always within minutes.

great area

we had a good stay, there were some forks in the sink when we arrived but not a huge deal. the house is close to the parks as well as a publix and restaurants. I did get charged with a huge fee for some towels and a sheet that were damaged, which went straight through my credit card, there were no photos provided, just the fee and there is a fee for late check out as well.

Beautiful and cozy

The house and the area we stayed in was nice. The house itself was very cozy and made us feel at home. The pool was perfect as it stops at 4 feet being that we were traveling with kids. The cleanliness of the house and the surrounding areas was exceptional. The only thing that threw us off after arriving on the property was we found that the house had an extra room which was locked with the word private on there. I don’t know what that room is used for but the owner should at least mention this in their listing. That room kinda had my kids freaked out the first night. Also, the checkin process at the gate was a little slow.
