À propos de cet hébergement

Beach Loving est une maison à deux niveaux. Le niveau principal est lumineux et ouvert, avec 3 chambres et deux salles de bain complètes, une véranda avec nouveau carrelage, une cuisine mise à jour (nouveaux comptoirs en granit, cuisinière à gaz et lave-vaisselle), une table à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à huit personnes et un Téléviseur couleur 42 pouces avec lecteur Blu-ray. Le porche grillagé a une bascule à double planeur, une table de café avec des chaises et trois chaises en osier en plein air pour se détendre. La maison est située sur un terrain plus grand avec une grande pelouse sur laquelle les enfants peuvent jouer au ballon, lancer le frisbee, etc. Il est joliment décoré dans un style amusant sur le thème de la plage. Les chambres 1 et 2 ont des lits queen, et la chambre 1 a une télévision murale; chambre 3 a un lit gigogne double avec matelas en mousse à mémoire. La cuisine est entièrement équipée avec cafetière, presse française et moulins à café manuels et électriques, mixeur, micro-ondes, un bon ensemble de couteaux et tous les ustensiles de cuisine.
Les draps sont fournis pour les séjours de 4 nuits ou plus, et le nettoyage est inclus dans les frais de location.
Pour les locations hors saison (septembre - mai), nous avons un séjour minimum de 2 nuits; les locataires paient les frais de linge s'ils restent moins de 4 nuits.

En bas:

En bas (a sa propre entrée extérieure séparée) a un lit queen et un futon gigogne, une salle de bain complète avec une laveuse / sécheuse, une kichenette avec un évier, réfrigérateur dortoir, four grille-pain, cafetière et vaisselle et ustensiles. Il y a aussi une télévision. Il y a un barbecue à gaz à l'usage des clients, ainsi que des chaises de plage, des planches de bodyboard et deux petits chariots de plage, et un jeu de cornhole. Nous avons également un parasol que vous pouvez utiliser. Il y a une douche extérieure avec vestiaire attaché avec eau chaude et froide, ainsi qu'un tuyau pour rincer les pieds.

Annual Family fishing trip!

We have stayed at this location multiple years . The house is wonderful and the location puts everything on the Isle in play. However the hosts and their efforts to ensure a great trip, are what sets this house apart….

Loved the house and location.

Very nice and roomy. enjoyed the beach and local restaurants. second beach trip for our 5yr old and first for her little brother. A memorable stall at Emerald Isle.

The perfect family getaway!

We were provided every possible comfort and convenience! Our only complaint was that the description sounded like it was closer to the beach. There is a 10 minute walk to get there which was a challenge with the little ones. Other than that we were very comfortable.

Wonderful Beach House!

Perfect location only a few minutes walking from the beach. Stepping inside for the first time we knew we were in for a good stay. House was well stocked, clean, and felt like home. We would definitely stay again.

Great property

Great property, great price, great location. We had a bit of trouble checking in but Margaret was very responsive. Property is a 5-10 min walk to the beach, is tastefully decorated and well equipped/stocked. Our family went with another family and had a great time. Would stay there again!

Second Stay

We were happy to return to this beach house! We noticed some renovations which was a nice touch. We enjoyed time with the family making memories. The main level of this home is great for gathering. The kitchen is open to the dining area which is open to the living areas. It’s a home with a big heart! We did have to replace a seashell lamp due to a kiddo bumping into one but the host was so gracious and we easily found a perfect replacement! We would return again.

Yearly Fishing trip

This was the 2nd year we have stayed at this property. The location, actual property itself, and communication with the property manager was outstanding. We plan on hopefully staying here for years to come.

Great Beach House!

Perfect location, very clean and spacious with room for everybody. The downstairs quarters were great for my teen son and friend. We did a golf cart for the short drive to the beach as we had a lot of stuff to carry. Beautiful home with cooking utensils, books, games, a grill, festive lights on porch. Great family time!

Beach Loving EI 2023

The house was very cute and spacious. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach which isn’t bad and is nice to have the outside hose & shower. We drove to Beaufort NC a couple times to take a ferry, only a short 40 to 45 minute drive. We did need to contact Margaret once and she was very responsive. We would stay here again.

Welcome Home

We rented this beautiful home during our stay in the area to welcome home our son from 7 month deployment. The house was absolutely perfect for our family with plenty of room to just hang out as well as proximity to restaurants, the beach, and grocery stores etc. It was nice to have the use of beach chairs and sand toys as the weather was so nice while we were there. Margaret is a great host and was very helpful answering all our questions and gave recommendations when asked. We would definitely stay here again if available!

Cute place in great location

Five minute walk to beach access and lots of shopping and dining options close by. Owners were very responsive and easy to work with. Floor wasn’t well swept and beds weren’t made when we got there because the people before us checked out late. Bottom level of the house had bugs. Overall it’s a cute place, nice set up and good value.

Roomy beach house

We enjoyed our stay at this house on Emerald Isle. The kitchen and living space were nicely updated with plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was well stocked. We especially enjoyed time relaxing on the screened porch. The walk to the beach was fine even with kids. Margaret was quick to communicate and gave us an early check-in! The beds and linens could use updating; if we stayed here again I would bring linens.

Perfect Vacay!

We have zero complaints, the space was spacious & open, plenty of room for the 6 of us! The downstairs apartment was perfect for our teenagers, with it's own entrance & outdoor shower right outside the door... We didn't hav to buy any extra TP or paper towels, ect, very well stocked! It was clean & comfortable in every way, with about a 1/4 mile walk to the beach, but we loved the exercise & enjoyed walking to the pier every day. We made good use of the beach wagon & umbrella. A good restraunt & an amazing Italian ice joint made that walk worth it! We would definitely choose to stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Comfortable home, good location, and only 7 minute walk to the beach

We had a great visit to Emerald Isle at your home on the beach. The cottage was clean, well laid out, and had all we needed when we got there. Kitchen is well supplied and the porch is wonderful. The large living room area is great for relaxing in the evening. You might want to check with the owners before coming, however, to see if the beach gear in the outdoor closet has been replaced yet. (The beach chairs were broken and we never could find the umbrella.) Otherwise you might want to bring your own (we went out and bought some during our visit). Thank you for a great visit to Emerald Isle!

Good location and the cottage was very, nice. Only issue was the 4 digit code that was requested via the VERBO email was not activated, but the owners activated it remotely in a reasonable amount of time, so we were not locked out too long. Down stairs bed cover was dirty, it had pet hair all over both the bed and the pull out?? Upstairs was perfect. Neighbors across the road had dogs that barked at anything that moved on the road and it was a busy road so that was very annoying. They did make attempts to quiet them but it was an everyday occurance and that alone will keep me from renting the place again. I don't go on vacation to listen to barking dogs

A good house for families

We were fortunate enough to go to Emerald Isle for a week and chose it because I found this house in our price range. The house has a great openness to it, with lots of seating, with a separate sunroom area that is really nice. We had a lot of different family groups and age groups and everyone was able to find space. There were ample bedrooms and the beds, though squeaky, we’re comfy. The kitchen was well equipped, a little small if everyone was attempting to use it, but with grace and patience, not a big deal. The downstairs was nice for people to have their own privacy and the outside shower is AMAZING! I actually preferred it to the ones in the house! At one point we were out of some supplies and I texted the owner. Someone showed up minutes later with supplies galore. Unfortunately, the dryer wasn’t working but there was a clothesline and drying racks and we got by with those. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk, there is a cart that is super convenient, and umbrellas, chairs, sand toys, and skim boards. The beach is great, nice water, great waves, and not too crowded. To sum it up, we had a great time at this house and would definitely recommend it.

Great location and well stocked house

Overall, we had a great stay, despite a few challenges with the house. The pluses: great location, close to the beach and an easy walk ( paved, you can bring a cart, semi shaded). The beach was wonderful, clean and not crowded, close to a fishing pier and small local restaurant on the pier. The house was extremely well stocked. We seriously had everything we needed in the kitchen. Having access to a French press and coffee grinder was wonderful, as we like good coffee. The living room and dining room areas are beautifully decorated and cozy. Sun room and screened porch were great. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower. It shows that the owners put a lot of care into the decor. The house is also close to grocery stores and restaurants and a coffee shop. The challenges: some parts of the house could use a refresher/ deep cleaning. There were a few issues with the cleanliness of some areas, and the owners were responsive to our concerns. Also, guests are expected to make all the beds upon arrival with provided sheets. That was a surprise to us (and the sheets are kinda cheap). The downstairs apartment is also quite humid. I know we are on the beach and it's hot, but it was not comfortable and we had to reconfigure our sleeping arrangements. If you are relying on the downstairs part, this is important to consider. The rest of the house was very cool and comfortable however. And yes, as someone else has said, a few bathroom rugs would have been nice. With a few additional touches and updates, this house would be perfect.

Our family now lives in Goldsboro, NC. We lived in Virginia for over 30 years, but moved for work, and the added benefit of living only 1 1/2 hours from our beach house!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We have vacationed on Emerald Isle for over 25 years. My husband and I were married on the island in 1998. For years we dreamed of owning a beach house at Emerald Isle, and in 2012 we were able to make that dream become a reality!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We chose this cottage because it felt like a real beach house, not a house that just happened to be built at the beach. It is open and bright, with a great floor plan for hanging out. The house was built in the 1970's and was renovated by the previous owners. We have continued to update the cottage with new appliances, flooring, heat pump, the outside shower and dressing area, adding on the screened in porch, new windows and siding.

We were able to meet the original owners a few years ago, when they drove by to see the house. The elderly woman and her daughter were pleased to see that "their" house was being lovingly cared for and enjoyed.
