Un saut, sauter et un saut de fontaine la plus célèbre de l'Italie, le jardin Casa Trevi est un trésor. Retrouvez-vous dans une cour étonnamment paisible, tous les arbres vivants, les oranges parfumées et une fontaine habitée par de petites tortues. Bien que vous êtes dans le cœur le plus animé de Rome, pas un bruit pénètre de l'extérieur. Les appartements sont situés au rez de chaussée d'un des bâtiments anciens (couvent Maroniti) et ouvrent directement sur la cour. Les intérieurs sont lumineux, apaisant et minimaliste dans la plus belle façon: murs blancs et terre cuite, étagères en verre et éclairage indirect. Un mélange de découvertes modernes et brocante. Plaques de cuisson et d'un réfrigérateur sont fournis dans aéré, cuisine blanc. Salle d'eau est magnifique.
Sur trois côtés sont bâtiments du 17ème siècle dans les jaunes, ocres et rouges; sur le quatrième, un bâtiment moderne de verre reflète le soleil sur la cour.

This apartment was great! Centrally located and super comfortable. Marta made our stay so special! This trip was to celebrate our 50th Anniversary and Marta welcomed us with flowers and prosecco. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Comfortable, clean, safe apartment met our needs. Was close to everything we wanted to see. Tranquil courtyard to relax by and get away from the crowds.

Beautiful little apartment

The apartment was right in the heart of restaurants and bars and near the tourist attractions. Marta was friendly and made check in very easy. The courtyard was completely silent, which was a welcome relief from the noise and people on the street. Apartment was on the smaller side but certainly big enough for the 2 of us. We would recommend this property!

We loved Marta’s place! It was centrally located, Marta went above and beyond for us, and the property was a quiet oasis to come home to. Marta booked our car service for us from and to the airport and met us to check us into the property. Amazing property in an amazing city.

Great location if you want to be in the heart of tourist area

Hostess aware we were arriving late and we couldn’t check in until following day as host didn’t answer her phone for 3 hours. Host rang back at 3.00am in the morning. We arranged checkin next day and received a full refund for the previous night. Each time I needed to contact host she was quick to reply apart from initial first day. Unit is small however great for sleeping air conditioning was a life saver! No chairs allowed in court yard, the turtle were amazing.

A Sanctuary in Busy Rome

When you close the big wooden green doors and walk through the arched entrance to the spacious, green, cool garden court yard, all the noise and bustle of the street disappears. The trickle of the fountain and the birds singing immediately relax you. Our apartment was ground level opposite the garden and the liner pond with 14 turtles. There was even a herb garden which we used. The street, Via in Arcione is a pedestrian street leading to Trevi Fountain, 3 blocks away. There are many good restaurants and shops available. The number 8 Hopon-Hopoff bus stop was 10 minutes walk, which we used extensively. Home in the garden is such a convenient location and the Landlord Marta, was very friendly and helpful. The suite was clean and well equipped. I have only one complaint. The vrbo listing has included in the amenity's list, a hot tub. There is not a hot tub. This item is misleading and should be removed.

Petit havre de paix

Logement conforme à la description. Petit havre de paix au coeur d une rue très animée de Rome. Idéal pour visiter la ville. Petit bémol pour la chasse des toilettes. Marta nous a même envoyé un taxi pour nous accueillir à l aéroport ..nous retenons l adresse. Nous recommandons.

Petit appartement, propre et agréable mais surtout idéalement situé. À une minute de la fontaine de Trevis et pourtant très calme. La propriétaire est très à l’écoute, disponible et agréable.

Sorry I can't recommend this apartment

1. Extremely tiny shower stall - could hardly stand in it - bumped my head and elbows against the walls with the shower curtain slapping on my body. 2. Older towels smelled foul even though they were laundered. 3. Low quality very tiny apart ment with zero windows. Had to keep front door open to get some natural light in. 4. Water when boiled had lots of cloudy white sediment that settled at the bottom.

un havre de paix au coeur de Rome

Location très propre, fonctionnelle, bien équipée. Situation excellente proche de la fontaine de Trevi, Place di Spagna ... le Colisée est à 25mn à pied. L'appartement se situe dans un ensemble de bâtiments qui forment une cour intérieure, endroit très calme, et pourtant donnant sur une rue menant à la fontaine de trevi (2minutes à pied). Commerces, restaurants et glacier à proximité. Quant à Marta, elle est adorable, nous a surclassés dans un appartement plus grand, ce qui était agréable pour notre petite famille. Elle nous a donné quelques adresses et conseils, ce qui est appréciable. Je recommande très vivement ! et Grazie mille Marta

Lovely apartment in the heart of Rome

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. Fantastic location, only 2 mins walk from the Trevi Fountain. Marta was very helpful and made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay again - highly recommend this apartment.

Short break in Rome

Travelled to Rome with my 11 year-old daughter for a 4-night stay. This apartment was in an excellent location for the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, Piazza Novona and Campo de Fiori (in other words, the location was perfect!). Even though we were in the midst of everything, the apartment and garden area provided a peaceful oasis. It was also conveniently just a few yards from a small supermarket which we used every day. The only slightly negative things to were that the apartment could do with a little TLC (a lick of paint, and a thorough clean in the shower area) and if you get the apartment for 2 to 3 there's an adjoining door (which is locked) to Mara's other apartment. This was fine for us as our neighbours were quiet and considerate but it may be a problem if you have noisy neighbours.

Tidy, little flat in the center of Rome

When we arrived the first time at Casa Trevi ( ten years ago) we could verify that every things was exactly as Marta's description on her ads.The flat is very nice, well kept and fully equipped. The ideal site for a vacation in Rome. Located in the middle of all the roman beauties as soon as you cross the entrance door you are in a private, peaceful and safe orange trees garden. Nearby there are many food shops and a very good small restaurant named " Sora Lucia ". In any case Marta is always giving you all the info and suggestions you may need to enjoy your stay in Rome. I have already recommended both the two Casa Trevi flats to my friends and relatives and all of them where satisfied and....just to finish, my sister and I will keep going to Marta's property every time in Rome, we feel very well there!

Delightful and Amazing

This place is in the center of it all! We walked to and from the colusieum and in doing so discovered just how close we were to Trevi Fountain. Walk out, turn right and you're on your way to a fun day. On another day we took the subway to the Vatican. On our return, we walked home, ate pizza at a delightful street restaraunt and of course a stop for gelato. Peach & Carmel are 2 of my favorites. BEST OF ALL is the delightful host!! Marta is a 5 star in our opinion. Friends Forever. She made our lifetime trip to Italy, so wonderful. Thank you Marta!

We had a lovely few days in Rome in April 2014, staying in Trevi apartment 1. This was a fantastic central location, and it was so easy for us to get to all the sites as we wished. What we found most amazing was that - from outside the main entrance we were a few yards only from all the exciting bustle around Trevi Fountain, a real tourist hub with loads of restaurants and shops - while our apartment itself was,as it were in a different world, so quiet and sheltered in a leafy garden cloister. Thank you very much for a great holiday!

The flat was small but had what you needed for a very comfortable visit. The great things about it were how close it was to the main sites, good places to eat very nearby, a lovely garden and an almost miraculous level of peace and quietness so close to busy places like the Trevi Fountain.And the owner is extremely helpful.

Casa Trevi

Two adults stayed 5 nights at this apartment. We prefer apartments to hotel rooms. The apartment could sleep 3 persons with one using the sofa. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location of the apartment is secure, private, and relaxing. It is also within walking distance to several major tourist sites and within walking distance of the metro. There are ample restaurants, shops and food markets close by. We were able to utilize the kitchenette features of the apartment for cooking and it was nice to have a small refrigerator for food storage. The apartment was clean but you can not rule out seeing an occasional insect. The sleeping area is separated from the sitting area and kitchen by a wall roughly 4 feet high. The furnishings are basic and could be improved with a new sofa. During our stay, the weather was warmer than normal and it was difficult to reduce the temperature within the apartment. I would stay at Casa Trevi again and recommend it to travelers who are willing to overlook a few minor flaws in order to gain the benefits of staying in an apartment in a great location.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

I chose to buy CASA TREVI GARDEN N. 2 because that apartment is in a big beautiful garden and in the heart of Rome, close Trevi's Fountain and Spanish Steps.
The garden is far to the street and it is very quiet. There are some fountains with fishes and turtles. Many year ago the building was a friary, inside there is a church and cloister. When the building was restore they found a Roman 'Domus' with columns and mosaic flooring. The window door overlook a wonderful inner garden complete with orange trees, olive trees and fountains in which fish and tortoises swim.

You can live in a peaceful place.

Just outside the main door you can find the most famous marvels of Rome’s historical centre: Fontana di Trevi; Spanish Steps ; the Pantheon; Via del Babuino and Via Margutta with their bustling artists’ studios and antique shops.
