Best in Accra!
I took great care in choosing a location for my Ghana vacation. I needed; safety, central location, easy access to food, transportation, and fun. Accra Serviced Villas met these requirements and then blew me away with so many unexpected benefits. Nestled in the midst of a vibrant street peppered with bars, eateries, and food venders, these villa apartments somehow manage to provide a very homey feeling with a taste of luxury. But let us start with my list first. Safety: There are two gate/grounds men who are on site 24 hours at your service. No one comes in and out without Issac or Richard being aware and approving them. They gate is locked in the evenings and every visitor must ring and be cleared. During portions of my stay I was alone and never once felt frightened. In one scenario, a taxi driver had come with an item I had lost, Richard escorted him in and remained nearby during our transaction just to make sure I was OK. Based on safety alone I would recommend this establishment a millions times. Location: I love the location! The location is perfect for Accra. I was zipping around Accra like a local and never got lost. I learned two ways to get here so I can easily direct Uber and taxi drivers which makes me feel great. It’s very near Junction Mall which costs less than $2US to reach by taxi or uber. Access: There is food and a very lively night life right outside the door. For those who are intimidated by hustle and bustle, the staff will cheerfully pop out and get a local dish for you from nearby venders. As others have mentioned music does play all night, but even if that is not your thing, trust me there is just so much genuine attention and affection from the staff and the facility is so beautiful that soon the music is barely noticeable. Comfy beds, big closets, staff cleaning regularly, what more is there to ask for?
All said, this establishment is worth 5 stars. It’s not just the pool, large airy rooms, and other amenities. To me, it is truly the staff that tip them over into being one of the best villa apartments I have ever stayed in. I will truly miss Issac, Richard, and Hannah and I will be back!
