Stunning south haven

Location was great to walk to town. Easy to find & ample parking. Hosts had snack & water for us & were accommodating to our requests. Would stay again.

Great location, perfect space

Really enjoyed our week here for a quick getaway before the end of summer. The house was the perfect location to access everything! The owners were wonderful and thoughtful. We enjoyed our stay and exploring the area that is all in walking distance. Highly recommend for a family stay!

Nice house I'm good location

Just a ten minute walk from the south beach through a wonderfully charming neighborhood. This home is on an easy to access corner lot. The street in front of the house is also a couple blocks from downtown and good restaurants. Clean home, great hardwood floors. Ac in most rooms that works well. Top all that with friendly, easy going but not intrusive host who live downstairs. This was a very nice place to say especially for how well priced a night it is in this neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

This is a great place to stay when vacationing in South Haven. You are just blocks from the downtown area or the beach. The house is very comfortable and the hosts were very gracious. Our favorite room was the dining area that had windows on two sides. Great place to eat or play games. The house is as pictured. All the rooms are spacious. Kitchen had plenty of room with an island for two plus an eat-in area. Extra blankets in the living room. And the location is wonderful. The neighborhood is quaint. Just a couple blocks from a bike path that leads to Kal-Haven State Park. We had a wonderful time and took advantage of everything around us.

Great vacation rental spot

Property was convenient to down town (walking distance) and a short drive to the beach. Nice quiet setting to sit and have mor ing coffee and plenty of space to accommodate our family of 4. Owner welcomed us with a nice assortment of snacks, water and ice to get us started. Overall a nice, easy, worry free stay for our summer vacation to South Haven.

Luv South Haven & this house

My family & I had a great time visiting loved ones that live in South Haven, MI. This house was perfect for our needs. We walked to all the shopping. Walked to the beach for evening sunsets & an ice cream cone. The house was clean...lovely decor, including great windows w/ lots of sunlight ! The grill was perfect for our small family gatherings. And, a cute patio area surrounded by beautiful flowers. Thanks for making our family time full of special memories !

Great Place and Hosts

This was a great place for a mid-summer getaway to South Haven. The house layout is great with bedrooms in the back, kitchen/breakfast room in the middle, and dining room and family room at the front. Plenty of room for most any activity you might need. The location is ideal. It's close to both downtown and the south beach. The neighborhood was quiet even in mid-July. We had good weather on our visit; open windows with all of the ceiling fans kept us comfortable day and night. Bathroom is dated, but clean and functional. The hosts were accommodating and communicated well. They live downstairs, which was not clear from the description, but not an issue. South Haven itself was fantastic. Great beaches, good food (be prepared to wait if you go out to dinner), and the local Maritime Museum gives tours on a variety of boats (I highly recommend the sloop, Friend's Good Will).

Close to town, close to the beach

Just wrapped up our stay, and had a great time. The property was spotless, the kitchen well-stocked, and it has beautiful hardwood floors throughout. There is a nice garden outside too. The owners were helpful, but not intrusive. I’d gladly stay here again.

Not the friendliest

Clean place. 15 minute walk up and down hills to South Beach. Worst hosts we've ever come across. Rude, condescending, not a pleasure. Would never stay here again just because we never want to drive up to a VRBO and have the owner yell at us upon arrival. Not even a hello. They also charged us extra with no explanation. I'd find another place in South Haven with kinder owners. They also live downstairs and monitor your waking movements.

Great location - great value

Highly walkable to downtown and South beach. Clean and confortable. Many windows make it full of light. Small patio and bbq are nice. Perfect for a along weekend stay and for a small family. One of our better rental in SoHa.

Family gathering in South Haven

Joan and Gerry have a really great house that’s close to the beach and downtown. We even spent a couple days without our car since it had to go to the shop for a repair when we got there, and had no troubles accessing all the things we wanted to do. It was a great week.

It was wonderful. Very comfortable house with incredible breezes blowing through so no need for AC. Owners are low key, personable, and very helpful. It was relaxing and pleasant. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Perfect Location

We decided to do a family getaway at the last minute. I was so lucky to find this house rental at a good budget. The house is in the perfect location, just a few blocks from downtown and the beach. You can walk into town on a beautiful day. The description was very accurate. The owners live downstairs but gave us our privacy. I did not see or hear them. The owner answered all my questions promptly. The owners left us a bottle of wine, package of bottled water, and bag of ice. The house had everything we needed and more. The only negative aspect was no central air. There were multiple air units and fans throughout the house, but the kitchen, family room, and bathroom were still very warm. The house needs new windows. That might help keep all the cool air circulating. Overall, it was a good experience. I would definitely consider renting this house again in the future.

3 days in South Haven

We had an great time in South Haven and this rental was Perfect for our trip. The rental is very spacious (3 bedrooms) and very well equipped with all we needed and more. It is the full upstairs portion of a 2 level house. Joan was a perfect owner to work with; available and quickly responsive for every question. We can't wait to return in 2021!

Hi, we are Jerry and Joan and we purchased our home to retire in. We are retired and live downstairs. If you need anything while you are staying, we are right there. We love our vacation home and hope that you will also. Please respect our home and community.

We are in a quiet neighborhood with many full time residence.
We are in a great location 3 blocks from town and 4 blocks from the beach. We are right in the center of everything. We live downstairs if you need anything. Walk to town or beach and leave your car parked.

Location, Location, Location plus kitchen and bath are new. Kitchen has a large island for gatherings with a dishwasher. Nice deck and private fenced yard. Lots of windows for natural light.
