Wonderful Beach Accomodations!

Very clean. Kitchen is well equipped, and a beautiful view! All in all a wonderful visit. Would definitely visit again. Perhaps mention there are luggage carts in the stairwells on the first floor.

Beautiful Place!

Was able to get this amazing place last minute after other trip fell through. I've historically stayed within the plantation and was a little bit hesitant to stay outside but this place was perfect and had everything that we needed. Wonderful view, high end decor/unit and great floor plan meeting all of our family needs. We'll be back for sure!

C. Shell at Ocean Place is a very nice, spacious condo to use as a home base while spending time at Amelia Island. Being right on the ocean, the views are wonderful. Inside the condo is perfect for the cook who enjoys preparing a meal or two while on vacation as the kitchen is very well equipped. Of course C. Shell is right next to the Ritz Carlton which can be another source of cocktails and dinner. We enjoyed C. Shell very much.

Wonderful Condo

This condo was just as described. Beautifully updated and stocked with pretty much everything you could need. The view is heavenly. The only drawback I would say to the property is that the Ritz Carlton operating system runs all the time and you can hear the noise over the ocean sometimes. Other than that perfect!

Sweet stay

We knew the weather wouldnt be great but we were happy to be on the beach and away from home and in a really lovely condo. We would absolutely return to this condo. Recommendation would be new beach chairs and some touch up paint in a few ares that would keep the unit really fresh. The king bed was very comfy and the condo was nice and bright and porch furniture was good as we spent time out there. Also the living room chairs were so comfy that we are looking in to buying one for ourselves! The washer and dryer were used a number of times by us and were also really good and quiet! 5star visit for us.

Very nice villa except for MBR Carpet was very NOT ACCEPTABLE. We just came off of the winter season when they should have replaced it. Not Expensive to do! You should give the villa's ratings like summer beach used to do. That would make owners keep their villas in A1 condition!

Love the layout and views! beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. The only negative, a big one in my book, is the terrible condition of the wall to wall carpets in the bedrooms. Stained, dirty, wrinkled in the master bedroom. Really took away from the elegance of the place especially considering the cost of the rental. I would advise just putting tile throughout and small throw carpets at the beside that can be washed or changed out. I would not rent this unit again unless I knew the flooring had been updated.

Comfortable Accommodations on a beautiful beach

I have rented several units in the Ocean Place complex and this was one of the best. The unit has been updated and the bedding (2 kings and 2 twins) were very comfortable. There are a couple of improvements that would have made our stay perfect. Directions to the operation of the TV and the three remotes would have been helpful. Thank goodness our 35 year old son was there to help! Also extra toilet paper was not provided. If you are staying a week, you will definitely need to bring extra to get you through the week. And the last suggestion is to have a couple more comfortable chairs in the living area. The sofa and two chairs just weren't enough comfortable seating for 6 adults. All in all it was an enjoyable unit to stay in for a relaxing week at the beach.

Unresponsive to Bad Problems

While this condo is absolutely gorgeous and exactly as depicted in the photos, our stay was far less than perfect due to the poor management from Mock's Amelia Vacations. When we arrived, the condo smelled horrible because the housekeepers left the broken garbage disposal full of rotting food. I called Mock's, the management company, several times but I never received a response. Fortunately, my husband can repair just about anything but first he had to dig out all the rotten food while gagging. 2 days later, I used the washing machine only to find out the dryer was broken. This time, my husband and I called over and over several times and no one ever answered the phone or called back. Finally, we received a text saying a repairman could not come until Monday which was the day we were checking out. There was no offer to help us in any way. We hope the owners are aware of the poor management.

Another Great Ocean Place condos Amelia Island Vacation

My family has vacationed at Amelia Island most of my life and about 15 years ago we started an extended family group vacation with about 25 attending. Due to our various aging levels and multi-unit needs Ocean Place has been a perfect location, plus the property and each unit are well upkept. Consistently Mock Rentals' units are some of the best. They are always immaculately maintained and updated with serene beach friendly décor and furnishings. You can't go wrong with this choice!!
