La suite Cali est conçue pour vous transporter sur la côte californienne avec un mélange sophistiqué de design moderne et le confort doux d'accents asiatiques délicats.
La maison s'anime le soir car tout l'éclairage peut être ajusté à toute humeur. Son stéréo surround Sonos ajoute à l'atmosphère parfaite à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur.
Cette suite de deux étages comprend une terrasse divertissante d'inspiration artistique avec un bain à remous spa pour six personnes et une grande cheminée en pierre, ainsi qu'une petite terrasse donnant sur la cuisine.

Tous les clients de Hickman's Hide-A-Way Vacation Rentals ont un accès complet à notre plage privée et à ses équipements.

Nos maisons sont situées juste à l'extérieur des limites de la ville de Nelson, vous apportant la paix et la tranquillité d'une évasion en bord de mer avec la commodité de la vie en ville. Tous vos magasins et attractions du centre-ville sont à quelques minutes en voiture.

L'intention de Hickman’s Hide-A-Way Vacation Rentals est de vous offrir une belle évasion au quotidien. Nous avons pris le temps de nous assurer que chaque suite présentée sur notre propriété a été conçue pour votre plaisir et votre confort.

Deux belles maisons se trouvent sur notre propriété en bord de mer, chacune avec une suite supérieure et inférieure. Fournissant un total de quatre suites privées. Le seul espace partagé sur notre propriété est la grande plage et le terrain inférieur, cette zone comprend un bar sec couvert et un foyer supplémentaire.

Chaque suite comprend un bain à remous et un barbecue privés, une buanderie, un lave-vaisselle et des éléments essentiels de la cuisine tels que des épices, des huiles et du café.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house was spotless and well-maintained, making it a comfortable place to relax. The location was ideal—close to everything we needed while still being in a peaceful area. The host was responsive and made the check-in process seamless. We’d definitely stay here again!

Christmas Ski vacation

Beautiful setting in a very fun little ski town. Hot tub was amazing after a day on the slopes! Our only small complaints were bed was a little uncomfortable and the upstairs living room was small making it hard to hang out as a group. Overall great stay and would return.

A great, private retreat

We stayed for a few nights during winter and enjoyed the hot tub, spacious property and all of the amenities that the property had to offer. It would be great to come back in summer as the beach property would be amazing.

Great Trip!

The property was perfect and secluded. The deck and outside fire place was perfect for hanging out and taking in the amazing veiws! They have a nice beach with kayaks and a paddle boat available to use. We will definitely be back in the fall!

Perfect place by Kootenay Lake!

Stayed with friends for a recent ski trip to Nelson. What a beautiful location! The hot tub on the deck is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day, and the view is phenomenal! Very well-appointed listing, and an extremely comfortable place to stay. Shelley was great to deal with and always quick to respond. We’re looking forward to staying here again!!!

Family Get together

The house and location are perfect for a family getaway. its a little bit off the beaten path which is perfect for privacy. Unfortunately we had record breaking cold temperatures which kept us indoors but the large dining room table was perfect for us to stay indoors and play board games. The view of the lake was stunning, I'm coming back in the summer and take advantage of the beach access!

A lovely Hide-A-Way!!

We rented the entire house and it worked out perfectly for our adult group of eight. The house was very clean and well furnished. The hot tub was wonderful, clean and placed in a great spot for viewing the lake. The kitchen was well stocked, and nice towels in the bathrooms. All of use agreed we would enjoy coming back here again.

Enjoyed our family weekend!

We all had a wonderful time enjoying everything this property has to offer with our favorite being the view and outdoor fireplace! Hot tub was also great and we were able to cook some meals with the well equipped kitchen. Property manager was very responsive to our needs! Thank you!

Hidden Gem

The property is in a secluded neighborhood just outside Nelson right on the lake. By GPS it is a bit tricky to find, but less so if you follow the excellent directions provided by the host. We stayed three nights on a family ski trip to Whitewater. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Family Getaway

This stay was perfect for a family getaway consisting of four adults and our lab. We stayed for a few nights during the week, and there weren’t any guests in the adjacent suite so we had the beach to ourselves. Shelley, who recently purchased the property, was quick to communicate and address a few minor items for us. We would stay here again!

The perfect place for our family to meet up

My sister and I went back home to Nelson with our families and stayed in the Cali suite. It was so perfect for us and we really enjoyed our stay. The house is lovely and filled with beautifully curated art. The beach was just what we were hoping for. The seclusion and water views made even the rainy days awesome for watching the birds and deer. Every one of us including all the adult children were very impressed with the place and are planning to return. Very nice stay.

Annual Koots Trip

We do a trip a year to the Kootenays with another family, making us a large group of 9 plus 2 dogs. Finding the right property on the lake and close to biking plus town is critical to keeping everyone happy. The Hideway has it all and was the first property in 5 years to check all the boxes. We’ll be back!

Enchanting Vacay

This property is beautiful and enchanting! My family had a fabulous time. Everything we needed was there. The beds were comfortable, the yellow bedroom had the softest sheets I've every slept on! The kitchen was fully stocked with every tool, appliance and utensil you would want! Jim and his family were kind and accommodating. He messaged me prior to our arrival and was available whenever I had questions. It was our first time in Nelson, so we spent a good portion of our time out and about. Next time, we want to plan less things to do so we can sit on that ginormous deck and relax.

3 night stay in Nelson

We loved our stay in Nelson. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and on water. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. Train travels by twice a day which we all loved. Would highly recommend.

Great spot!

The beach and outdoor space were highlights for us! The kitchen is big but not much pantry space to store food that’s purchased. The downstairs tv didn’t turn on, seemed to be missing an Apple TV or box? There are small couches in the downstairs bedrooms which was handy (they do not pull out). There aren’t blinds on the windows so if you have young kids bringing a black out blind would be beneficial. The hot tub was in good shape and really clean. Overall the with the proximity to town along with the private beach, this place is hard to beat!

Came on a vacation to the Kootenay's and fell in love with the beauty and more specifically this little resort on the edge of Nelson located at Bealby Point. My own private oasis I can share with my family, friends and guests.

Private sandy beach with views of the mountain and close proximity to town for shopping and great food, mountains for skiing in the winter, golf in the summer. Away from the hustle of the big city life.
