we came friday after noon the flat was easy to find we had a lovely time the flat was lovely the sea veiw fabulous clean light and lovely and warm and even the weather was good westbay is a joy and my ageing mother and german shepard was happy

Great bolthole for exploring West Bay and area

Lovely flat, much bigger than it appears in the photos. Outside of the block looks a little tired, but inside was lovely. Comfy bed and sofa and little patio and sunroom area great for watching the world go by on the seafront. Parking space was very handy. Only a few moments walk to beach .ancouplcouple cpuple

Very average. No internet. Shower hardly works, thermostat has failed. Inside is dated but clean. Outside is ugly and rundown. Kitchen is nice and fairly new. West beach 8s n8

really nice apartment, was well equipped.

the apartment was very pleasant to stay in, the beach area was lovely, lots of places to visit with wonderful views, I am a artist and this part of the world is a painters Paradise. The only downside for my husband and I was the outside patio area. The seagulls nest on the flat roofs, this is lovely to see, but not the mess they leave, this was not so good, and quite off putting as we couldn't sit outside. If possible could you let the owner know that we mistakenly took some of there hangers home and would she like me to post some new ones to her address. Kind regards Jean Powell-Riley

Perfect and excellent value. A great base for tackling legs of the SW Coast Path. Well equipped and with lovely neighbours at the side and below. Highly recommend for the money.

Great location for sea swimming

This property has everything needed for a couple to stay comfortably. The sea was just 2 mins easy walk away and could be seen from the lounge. The shops and restaurants were also just a few minutes walk away. There was an issue when we arrived which was quickly rectified when we contacted the owners.

Very clean and tidy apartment.

The flat is extremely clean with everything thought of. Very good value for money. If you need to use the futon in the lounge for sleeping then it is not over comfortable and could benefit from being upgraded, but if you just need to use the double bed then it is completely suitable. The DVD player seemed to have an hiccup when playing. Some dvds were worse than others, it kept freezing when playing which was very frustrating and we didn’t bother with it in the end. Only a small point and as the weather wasn’t over good we wanted to use it more than usual. I didn’t report it to owner so they may not be aware of it. All communication with owner was very good and they were eager to help with anything. Overall a good holiday, pity the weather wasn’t better but you can’t do anything about the British weather

The property was good but the parking wasn't no allocated spaces garage was too small to put car in , the café / bar nearest the apartment was expensive and very bad service , best bar was west bay hotel reasonable prices a, nice garden and good service would recommend overall west bay is a lovely place to stay will come again

Nice holiday

We had a lovely stay at West Bay! The apartment had everything we needed plus an easy access to the beach! We also enjoyed the sea view when eating. Our daughters like playing with the board games and colouring books. The apartment was big enough for hide-and-seek too!

Spacious apartment at West Bay

Light, bright home to stay in. Very well furnished and equipped with every little detail thought of. The owners certainly take a pride in their property and share it with their guests. The kitchen has views towards Bridport.The lounge has afternoon sun and a view of the promenade and sea.Plenty going on in West Bay.

Westbay

This property is nice and central , equipped with everything you need. Nice sunroom and nice sitting out area when weather suitable. Only downside is the spiral staircase, tricky when you are unloading the car. At the other end of flats straight staircase leading onto the front.

Great location

Any closer to the sea and we'd have got wet! OK, we went in December and got wet anyway from the rain, but this apartment is in an awesome location. You can sit at the table in the lounge and look out to sea. We took our labrador who loved the beach and sea. He struggled with the spiral staircase initially, but there is also a straight staircase at the front of the complex. Everything we could need was provided, with a good quality dinner service, plenty of cutlery and all types of glasses. I was worried beforehand if the electric heaters would keep us warm enough in winter, but they certainly did. Took a bit of figuring out as they can easily make it *WAY* too hot. Having a garage for parking would be useful for some, but our SUV was not going to fit. Managed to park opposite the garage, but that may be a struggle in peak times. Overall, loved it and would happily return for a relaxing short break with great walks and plenty of food options on the doorstep.
