Lallybroch (nommé d'après le domaine fictif dans le programme de télévision primé, Outlander) est une impressionnante maison de 5 chambres. Avec des chambres appelées après les personnages: Ferguson, Frazer, Wallace, Campbell et MacKenzie, vous pouvez recréer votre propre petite partie d'Outlander pendant votre séjour!Le processus de conversion se déroule sur le Kersebonny Carse juste à l'extérieur de Stirling, à proximité de toutes les commodités et sites historiques, mais dans un cadre très tranquille.

Récemment modernisé et meublé à un niveau exceptionnellement élevé cette propriété unique offre une torsion sur la ferme traditionnelle. Avec vue sur le château de Stirling depuis les chambres au dernier étage, cette maison sera une base idéale pour vos vacances en Ecosse.

Sur 3 étages, il y a un grand salon et salle à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 10 personnes. Le logement comprend un impressionnant, spacieux salon avec cheminée, poêle à bois brûler et une grande télévision plasma Freeview. Des portes-fenêtres mènent de cette pièce au jardin patio arrière commun. Cette chambre est un endroit merveilleux pour se détendre avec des sièges confortables pouvant accueillir jusqu'à dix personnes.

La cuisine entièrement équipée dispose de tout le nécessaire pour un séjour confortable: grande table de ferme pouvant facilement accueillir dix personnes, lave-vaisselle, cuisinière avec 5 feux gaz et 2 fours électriques, micro-ondes et réfrigérateur américain / congélateur. La cuisine mène à une buanderie séparée avec lave-linge et sèche-linge.

Aussi à l'étage inférieur est un petit vestiaire avec penderie et un WC s��paré.
Au premier étage il y a 3 chambres �� coucher: la salle de bains principale de taille King avec une grande douche à l'italienne et un grand dressing. Une autre chambre king-size et une chambre double attenante complètent cet étage.

Au dernier étage, il y a deux autres chambres: une avec lit king-size et une avec un lit gigogne et un lit gigogne donnant l'option d'un lit king-size ou de deux lits simples. Cet étage dispose également de 2 autres salles de bains, chacune avec une douche dans la baignoire.

Stirling Lollybroch
We enjoyed this Scottish “steading”. It was a charming farmhouse attached with other houses. The neighbors were friendly and helpful when we first got there. The house was plenty big enough for the 9 of us. The only downfall was the very slow Internet. But that wasn’t the fault of the owner. The house was about a mile outside of town which made it a very quiet stay.

Great location / House needs a little TLC
The overall space is well laid out, convenient and functional but the house does need a little tlc - The good; its cutely decorated, has great kitchen space for a large group and the property owners were responsive with our questions when asked. The "not so good"; it's a little beat up and could use a really good cleaning, specifically in the bathrooms and the bedroom pillows really need replacing. The house would be better served if the carpet in the 2nd and 3rd floors were removed and replaced with something functional like luxury vinyl or wood. When we arrived, there were no batteries in thermostat which rendered the heat inoperable, the bathroom window was left wide open despite it being 40F degrees outside and we had to use the flashlight batteries to install in the thermostat. The heat took a really long time to heat the house, but, it eventually got there. The "house instructions" need updating as the instructions for the thermostat and the recycling are not aligned with actual thermostat and how the recycling works. It was slightly confusing. Lastly, the wifi is terrible. I'm not sure if that is a function of the location (which I wouldn't think it is because its located very closely to a larger city) or if its a function of level of wifi provided. Overall, the property is nice but, a full review of the property should be done prior to guest arrival to ensure that there are things like "heat" and closed windows.

A perfect countryside stay
Location was one of the best and so scenic. On cleaniness, I will rate 5 out of 5. Property manager was also reachable and suggested some good places to visit nearby. Overall, it waa one of the best stays of ours in recent times.

A Great Central Location
Our group of six adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lallybroch. It provided plenty of space and privacy as well as great common areas for gathering. We cooked and ate in almost every night and appreciated the large welcoming kitchen table. The bedrooms were quite comfortable. From Stirling we were able to head out in all directions for days of sightseeing. We'd highly recommend this spot to others.

Lovely house but a few tweaks would make even better
Looked like the cleaning had been done in a rush. Cotton bud on floor beside bin in one room. Cutlery drawer not very clean. Some of the pans and oven trays had been put away without being checked. Bin area still had cans in one bin and lots of debris on floor. Kitchen needs a corkscrew, jug for water, strainer and other bits and Bob's! Dials on cooker are worn away and mugs were not too nice inside. Shower doors in main bedroom need attention. Fire wouldn't stay on. Bulb in toilet was out so couldn't be used after dark. Car parking beside hedge was too tight...with so much grass in front that seems crazy as the car had to scrape against the hedge each time we left. Sound a lot, but if all these issues were addressed then this would be a great place to stay. We really enjoyed it so not complaining but felt you would appreciate a truthful review.

We loved our stay in Lallybroch farmhouse. It’s in central of everything plus it has everything you’ll need. We will definitely go again for sure. It was a holiday to remember

Great place and lication
Our family of 7 spent 6 nights at Lallybroch and had a great time! The house was very clean, comfortable, and centrally located for us to visit Stirling, Edinburgh, Inverness, the Kelpies, and more. The beds were very cozy and comfortable. Everyone slept well and I enjoyed hearing the sheep in the morning. The manager was very quick to respond when we had questions. She was super nice. I would definitely recommend Lallybroch to any group. Hope to return some day.

Great place
We were a company of 8 people. The place is good overall: convenient location, clean, well equipped, friendly staff. The only thing we didn't like is the check out procedure. Before departure, we were supposed to take out the trash, strip the beds, put the linen in one bag, towels in the other etc. Not a big deal overall but when leaving at 4am it is something you wish you wouldn't need to do. Especially when you are also paying the cleaning fee. But I guess it is a Covid related thing. Nevertheless, a great place. Totally recommended.

Great house, lovely location.
Easy to book and very prompt communication with the manager before and during our stay. We had a few issues with the showers but these were dealt with. The property was ideal for a family holiday.

A wonderful house with views of Stirling Castle!
We stayed here as a group of 7 for a week, following the cancellation of our Amalfi Coast trip. The house is lovely. It has nice wooden beams, a large TV, a very well furnished and spacious farmhouse kitchen, the beds are so comfy, the Master Bedroom is immense, and both Kirsteen (Stirling Self Catering) and Carole (Property Manager) were exceptionally helpful before, during and after the stay. The house has 4 double beds and one zip/link beds. It has a downstairs WC, the Master Bedroom has an en-suite and a dressing room. There are two other bathrooms upstairs. The wooden floor is very creaky, the WiFi downloads at 0.3mbps, and the neighbours (to your left as you look out of the front door) are incredibly nosy, so watch out for those niggles. Other than that, Lallybroch is immense. It's ideally located for Stirling, with links to Edinburgh and Glasgow, and to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, and it has the added bonus of River House (a lovely restaurant) being 1 mile away, there's a Tesco/Sainsbury's within a mile too - perfect location, spacious and comfortable quiet house (except the floorboards), and perfect hosts, what's not to like? We've already booked to stay there again, since we enjoyed it so much!

Lovely farm house
The property was ample and spacious for 4 generations living under one roof. The only issue we had was with the very noisy floors and doors, on all levels of the property, this did cause some disturbance at sleeping times.

Lovely house in the historic town of Stirling.
We enjoyed how nicely decorated this house was. The large kitchen table was perfect for eating together, chatting about our travels that day and discussing where we were off to the next day. The leather sectional in the living room fit us all and was very comfortable. The bedrooms were quite spacious. We were surprised that a Scottish king bed is really a queen size in America and they make their beds with a fitted bottom sheet and no top sheet. Just a down comforter covered with a duvet. Different than what we are use to but we were snuggly warm during the cold evenings. The property manager was very responsive and pleasant to work with. This houses central location made it easy to drive to all the castles and cities we wanted to see while in Scotland without having to move from hotel to hotel. Next time we come back to Scotland we will definitely stay here again.

Great property for a girlie weekend
We booked this property for our girlie weekend and agreed it has been our favourite property from our many weekends away. We are a group of 5 ladies in our 50s and 60s and we prefer to have a bedroom each. High on our list of requirements as well as the 5 bedrooms is cleanliness, large kitchen with dining table, comfortable and cozy living area - Lallybroch exceeded our expectations. An added surprise was the xmas tree and decorations. We expect to be back next year

Excellent Location and Super Farmhouse
What a great house. Must admit that the creaky floors added some character to the property but could be little disconcerting during the night. However the property was brilliant with a superb location being central from Edinburg and Glasgow and the Highlands. We were greeted warmly by Caroline and quickly shown around the property. We did not have to bother her again until we left. The kitchen is well appointed with all one would need to cook either a full meal or snacks. The living room was huge with a large screen TV and the 5 bedrooms were fabulous. There was so much to see and do that time ran out but there is plenty more for another trip.

Comfortable, clean and welcoming with plenty of room for our group of 10. A home away from home.
Lallybroch farmhouse was comfortable, well equipped, and spacious. We were most impressed with our house manager, Carole who went out of her way to make our stay in Stirling one that we would not forget. Thank you, Carole for your advice and your warmth.

Gepflegtes Haus mit guter Ausstattung
Das Haus liegt verkehrstechnisch günstig, Stirling kann zu Fuß erkundet werden, Edinburgh und Glasgow liegen innerhalb einer Stunde Fahrzeit, ebenso Loch Lomond. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Wohnzimmer gemütlich mit Kamin und großem TV-Bildschirm. Duschen und Toiletten sind auf allen Ebenen ebenso vorhanden, allerdings für groß gewachsene Menschen (<190cm) im Dachgeschoß eher "Kopfstoßintensiv". Stabile Betten mit durchgehender Decke (Frau gewinnt!) und eine liebevolle Dekoration lassen schon am ersten Tag ein Wohlgefühl aufkommen. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist das WiFi, welches mit max. 3 Mbit mit offenbar zu vielen Teilnehmern der Anlage geteilt wird und die geringe Schalldämmung (Holzfußböden,urig aber sehr gut hörbar für alleanderen). Manchmal klappt das Internet gar nicht, aber der Mobilfunkempfang ist gut. Ausflugstipp Nr.1 für Familien: Falkirk, mit dem Schiffshebewerk Falkirk Wheel und den weltberühmten Statuen der Kelpies.(ca. 25min) Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen, bei 10 Personen sollten aber keine 10 Erwachsene das Haus belegen, das wird sehr eng (oder kuschelig?)
