Mountain House - Hors des chambres d'hôtes sauvages

La maison de montagne est de 2000 pieds carrés et dispose de trois chambres avec lits queen, deux avec salle de bain privée et une salle de bain en bas. Deux des chambres ont des canapés-lits gigognes. Le Mt. La maison a une cuisine complète, un salon, un coin repas et une véranda avec barbecue. Il y a aussi une terrasse attachée à la maison de la montagne.
Out of the Wild Guesthouse offre une vue panoramique sur Denali dans un cadre privé au sommet d'une colline avec la possibilité d'en apprendre davantage sur l'histoire de l'alpinisme en Alaska.
La propriété entière, composée de trois bâtiments distincts, peut être louée pour des événements.

Perfect Spot for Family Getaway

Love the views, the layout and decor of the house and all of the functional items we needed for a weekend getaway. We messaged the manager for a Pack and Play for our toddler and they had it at the doorstep in <10 minutes. Great host and great property!

Amazing port in the storm

The weather in Talkeetna was pretty rough while were there but we tried to get out & enjoy the area as much as we could, but it was absolutely delightful to have our out of the wild mountain house to come home to. It was warm, comfortable & spacious!

Out of the Wild house

House was clean and ready for our use. The only issue was the bath and shower in the Summit room. I’m surprised someone hasn’t broken they leg getting in and out of it.

Amazing home

This is a lovely home, it was perfect for 3 couples. Spacious and interesting with all the climbing pictures the owner has as well as climbing gear. We had a great stay here.

A true gem

Unfortunately the weather gods did not allow the view, but this is a fabulous place in every way. The location is wonderful and sitting outside is serene. The inside is very enjoyable and cozy, still spacious, the kitchen large equipped adequately, and one of those kitchens that has stuff in it to share... and leave some of your stuff in return. Beds are great, etc etc... 6/5

Wonderful spot

Beautiful, perfectly kept, fully up to date home. Great location and amazing views. No A/C but rarely needed in AK. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Absolutely Perfect!

The 4 of us just loved this place! The views were spectacular, the amenities were endless, the beds super comfy. We really enjoyed all the pictures around the house of ice climbing. We are so impressed! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Beautiful views

This property has an amazing view of Denali. I loved sitting on the couch in the bedroom and in the living room and just relax with the incredible views. The grounds are really pretty here, with lots of flowers in the summer. The hosts were very nice and communicative.

Nice house to rent.

My group of eight really enjoyed our quick stay in this home. The view from the house over looking the mountain range is beautiful. The house was clean and comfortable. Easy access to town. I would definitely stay there again.

The Perfect Spring Break

We loved our stay. The house was fully stocked with anything you would need. The large space made it a great spot for our family get together. The kids had a great time playing outside. We were able to take the trail directly from the house on our snowmachines and go downtown. We plan on staying again next year. Clean and comfortable!

We had a magical time staying at your home. We saw Denali in all its Splendor twice. The perfect place to end our vacation. Unfortunately we had to leave on Saturday since one of the family members came down with Covid. We will definitely return. Many tanks Jackie and Bill

Trip with friends

The mountain house property was awesome! There were 3 couples in our group and the mountain house gave us plenty of room. One of the first mornings we woke up to a pair of moose in the yard. I believe the owner of the property is a climber and the photos he had around the house were spectacular. Although most of our stay the weather was overcast we had one afternoon with a great view of Denali. The property is easy to find and gives easy access to Talkeetna and Denali NP. The care taker and Brian the owner were great and very quick to answer questions. We would definitely book the Mountain House again.

Hidden Treasure!!

This was our first time in the Mountain House, and it was an absolute treasure! Our girls weekend saw us trying out a home away from home, and not only did the mountain house meet our expectations, it exceeded them! Each individual piece of art, sculpture & photograph that make up the charm of this place have been chosen with care, as well as making the home feel special, but at the same time, it feels nothing but ‘homey’ from the moment you walk through the doors. The detail and consideration that the Host & Owner have taken to ensure you will not have need for anything you could have possibly forgotten… (pizza pan, got one! Extra ranch packet, sure! All the comfy blankies and pillows you could want? Absolutely!) ensures that you spend your time TRULY enjoying your stay. Our group will be back. Thank you, for making our stay wonderful.

What an amazing property!

This was a wonderful and unique property that we are still talking about. The views were breathtaking. Beds were comfortable and water pressure and temperature of the showers was blissful! Kitchen was very-well stocked with most everything you could need with one exception....there were not enough spoons! There was an amazing cast iron pan that was perfectly seasoned. The bathrooms had interesting tile work. The master tub/shower was an adventure to get in and out of, but the shower was amazing. The stall shower showerhead location was less than ideal, but the water pressure and temperature were great. The photos on the walls were incredible and we appreciated the postcards provided by the owner. We loved exploring all the unique rooms and appointments throughout the property. There were many interesting conversation pieces! And the decor was charming and different throughout the property. We wish we'd had more time to explore here. I would definitely recommend this property!!

Great location, beautiful house!

We stayed at this house for 1 night. The house is located on top of a hill and has a great view of Mt. Denali from the living room windows. The owner has taken great efforts in decorating this house with items from all around the world. We were there with kids and they loved running around in the backyard. There was a fire pit and wood in the backyard which would have been nice to use had the weather been cooler. It was in the high 70's when we we there! The mosquitoes were everywhere and we had to burn a repellent stick inside the house to keep them away from us. The only issue that prevented me from giving this house a 5 star rating is because there was only one usable shower in this house. That was in the upstairs bathroom and was very tiny and slippery like it had not been cleaned well. We were a party of 8 and this was not ideal for us. Even though the house was listed as having 2.5 baths, one of the bathrooms upstairs had a jacuzzi tub but no shower. Overall we loved this house and I would recommend it if the shower situation is not an issue.

Beyond Beautiful

Wish we could have stayed longer! So lovely. It's a huge house filled with beautiful art and objects with enough space not to seem crowded. A unique space and clearly a labor of love. Quick communication, kind people, great stay, easy check in. Just follow the directions they provide instead of believing google maps.
