Le paradis sur le Toccoa - Situé sur la rive de la rivière Toccoa, cette cabane est exactement ce que son nom l'indique. Si vous êtes un passionné de plein air, un pêcheur à la mouche, que vous aimez les tubes et le kayak, cette propriété est exactement ce que vous recherchez. C'est le rêve d'un pêcheur de truites! La rivière est approvisionnée juste au-dessus de cette cabane et offrira une excellente expérience de pêche à la truite.

La rivière Toccoa est l'une des meilleures rivières à truites de Géorgie du Nord. La cabine est située à quelques pas de la rivière. Notre pavillon sur la rivière vous donne un accès privé à la pêche à la mouche de classe mondiale. La zone herbeuse au bord de l'eau vous offre un endroit parfait pour une partie de fers à cheval au bord de l'eau ou à côté du foyer. Ou profitez de la balançoire du porche sur le porche avant. Vous pouvez vous asseoir et profiter des sons du train ferroviaire Blue Ridge Scenic alors qu'il transporte de nombreux visiteurs vers et depuis les régions de Blue Ridge et McCaysville. Avec un intérieur magnifiquement construit et meublé et une expérience en bord de rivière unique en son genre, vous serez sans aucun doute payant comme si vous étiez au paradis sur le Toccoa et que vous aurez envie de revenir.

Good for fishing

A very nice, clean cabin. Proximity to the river made it good for fishing. There is a steep bank you must climb down to get right by the river but you can fish from the gazebo more easily.

Girls Weekend

This is our second time staying at this property. It is great. Plenty of room for 7 girls with no complaints since the bathrooms are very spacious. Love the property and easy communication with the owners. Look forward to our next stay.

We spent four nights here arriving on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 14th. Our first eye opener was that the photos of the property can be a bit deceiving as we realized parking that we were on the bottom level and the property is three levels high. One guest room and bathroom is on the lower level and there is a 30 step steep flight of stairs up to the mid-level where the kitchen, living room and master bedroom/bath is located. Up another 25 steps is the top floor with 2nd guest room/ba. We were quite disappointed as we toured the rooms and the property. Window sills throughout had dead bugs on them, the desk in Master Bedroom with the house phone was covered with thick dust. Walking out to the cute balcony on 3rd floor was most disappointing as the entire balcony and furniture was covered with a combination of heavy pollen and rotted wicker shavings. The place simply was not cleaned before our arrival. Prop Manag Co blamed it on Mothers Day, and then said the owner was there to clean it two weeks prior to. The fishing dock was completely covered top to bottom with spider webs. My husband had to clean it before we could use it. River is a 15’ drop down from rock area and quite difficult to access. NO CELL COVERAGE at the cabin. Most irritating was trying to get ahold of the prop management co w/out cell service. Had to snail-mail them. Overall the property was furnished nice, beds nice, but the cleanliness not acceptable. Windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in months. :(

Magic on Toccoa

This place is everything one would expect for a magical getaway!! There is room and then some for a couples getaway or family getaway. The space allows room for whatever ur needs may be. The property was immaculate and each of the rooms (and bathrooms) were like staying in three different suite condos! It seemed a lot for just two people at first, but it was so reasonably priced for something smaller, it seemed such an opportunity to live lavishly 😊soooooo glad we did. Gave us good idea fo future plans, solo and with friends and family. Me and my husband were so pleased with everything about this place, I can’t express! Rooms spacious, beds comfy and cozy, all the accommodations needed for an excellent stay. Thanks, it truly was heaven 👏🏻👍🏻💪🏻😊. We will be back and next time with others. 10/10. Highly recommend

Cabin was excellent! Clean and in a beautiful location. Host was great to deal with. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

Great all around property

Spent a full week and had a great time. Plenty of room for large family. Great outdoor area by the river. Short drive to Blue Ridge. Nice paved roads to access cabin. Would stay again.

Great view and very nice cabin!!

Pool table on loft is making a lots of noisy and shake the kitchen ceiling. Maybe make a game room out of garage and keep one more futon bed in there.

Heaven on The Toccoa

Overall very nice looking place. The main floor bedroom had dust on the headboard and ceiling fan, but the place was clean other than that. We were sharing the bathroom on the main floor, so it would save on surprises if the door would actually lock. Very cozy cabin with all the snow though. Beautiful view of the Toccoa River. Nice kitchen, but as a cook, it would have been nice if the stove had more light to look at the food while it is cooking. Perhaps higher watt bulbs in the hood or additional lighting might help.

Our experience

Overall not very satisfied with the stay. There were ants all over the kitchen sink countertop, there was a strong gas smell coming from the fireplace, they only provided a very THIN sheet per room in a 50 degrees F weather, only provided ONE trash bag (thank God we have some plastic grocery bags in our car). And make sure to take a pic of the kitchen and everywhere that you clean, becuz they will attempt to keep your refundable deposit by sending you a nasty email on how you dirty the place and if it's them, they would never do that to anybody else's house . Which of course was definitely not true because we cleaned and double check everything base off the email they sent us for check out.

Fish Trap Trail

We enjoyed our stay at this property despite having to deal with remnants of a Cat 2 hurricane. We lost power in the early morning hours after our check-in the evening prior. Fortunately, we had a gas cooktop, outdoor grill & fireplace. We stayed warm & could cook some meals. Power was restored at 4:00P the next day. The view of the Taccoa River is great and we enjoyed the fire pit & making s’mores. The biggest negative for us were the stairs. Lots of climbing to unload & load. Also, parking for two vehicles was tight and on an incline. The cabin is very comfortable & easy to locate. Property managers were very accommodating & easy to contact. Next year we will probably look for a property on one level!

Lovely cabin on the Toccoa

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and the location was right across from the Toccoa River. The views of the river from the balcony are terrific. The management staff was very helpful.

River Escape

We fell in love with this 3-story cabin on the Toccoa River. Booking is through a cabin rental service. Great customer service and responsiveness. The cabin is several miles off the main road and is a 10 - 15 minute drive to the town of Blue Ridge. It's located across the street from the river with a private area for fishing and relaxing. There's a fire pit and horseshoes, so we spent most evenings enjoying the view. I suggest bringing fire starter kits and bug spray. The river is shallow in the morning, but gets pretty deep with a strong current by afternoon. It took several days before we caught any fish, but the last day, we caught several trout on worms. The cabin is beautifully decorated. The first floor leads to one bedroom / bath and the laundry room. There is a washer / dryer which is convenient. The main entrance is on the 2nd floor which opens to a full kitchen and warm, cozy family room complete with fire place. There is a large balcony with a gorgeous view of the river. A bedroom / bathroom is also on this floor. The third floor includes a bedroom / bath with a private balcony and a loft area with pool and gaming tables. Ways to make it better: For a higher end cabin, the outdoor furniture could be updated. Currently, there's patio and plastic furniture. Rocking chairs or more upscale furniture would be nice. Tips for Traveling: If you are over 16, you'll need a fishing license. We recommend Appalachian Anglers for a half day float trip. It was a great way to learn how to fly fish, and we caught 15 trout during off-season. Fun nearby stops include Mercier Orchards, Bear Claw Winery, Grumpy Old Men Brewery and the town of Blue Ridge.

3-level family cabin overlooking river

We had a nice, relaxing time at the cabin. The 2nd level porch with swing overlooking the river was my favorite. We saw tons of local wildlife and connected with nature while social distancing on our getaway. Home was clean and quiet with comfy beds. One small towel per guest was not ample as we got into the river a few times and needed towels. All in all, the cabin was what we were looking for with an added pool table in the loft. Great family cabin!

Nice place by the river.

This is a nice cabin by the river. The bedrooms are on three different levels, but you can hear through the floors pretty clearly. Also, to complete the booking process, you’ll have to go through the rental agency’s website, not VRBO. Overall a nice place, just a few things I didn’t expect.

Great lodge for group of fishermen or a family get together

The lodge was fantastic. Very comfortable. Being on the water is a nice touch. Other pluses: Good water pressure in the shower. Climate control was great. Lodge was very clean. The bar in the kitchen provided lots of space for preparing and serving food. Everything we tried to use was in good working order. We spent a lot of time on the porch watching the water and relaxing. Great television in the living room for watching college football. We also had some special requests, and the management was very accommodating and gracious. Some downsides: Lots of stairs - kitchen and living space is on the second floor. The water in the kitchen has a very strong sulfur smell, but I didn't notice this in the bathrooms or shower. There was no pitcher in the kitchen (we had to make and serve orange juice in the blender). Thanks for the great experience. We will be back!
