Le Nugget est un chalet 1 chambre entièrement rénové avec salle de bains, cuisine et laveuse / sécheuse. Parfait pour 2 personnes. Vues de Mackerel Cove et Merriconeag Sound.

Le Nugget se trouve à l'arrière de la propriété partagée avec Coveside, un tout nouveau chalet de 3 chambres et les deux peuvent être loués ensemble ou séparément.

Ce chalet offre une vue sur Mackerel Cove et la plage publique de Mackerel Cove est juste en face. Mackerel Cove est une crique fonctionnelle, vous pouvez donc regarder les homardiers aller et venir et acheter vos homards directement sur le quai. Il y a aussi une rampe de mise à l'eau publique à Mackerel Cove.

Tout dans le Nugget est neuf: électroménagers, fenêtres, meubles. Il se compose de deux chambres plus une salle de bain et un placard. La pièce principale a une cuisine avec bar, une table pour les repas et un canapé et une chaise.
La chambre a un lit queen, un bureau et un placard généreux. Il y a aussi une télé accrochée au mur.
La salle de bain a été récemment rénovée et dispose d'une douche généreuse.
La laveuse / sécheuse est située dans le placard de la chambre du Nugget.
Le Nugget dispose d'une place de parking.
Il y a une terrasse spacieuse avec des chaises Adirondack qui est un bel endroit pour prendre un verre ou lire un livre. Les jardins sont remplis de bleuets - aidez-vous!

MARIAGES: Ce chalet est idéalement situé si vous assistez ou assistez à un mariage sur l'île de Bailey. Johnson Field, juste en face du chalet, est le lieu privilégié des mariages sur Bailey Island. Bibliothèque Hall est à 1 minute à pied, est souvent le site pour les dîners de répétition et aussi un lieu de mariage de choix.

C'est un endroit parfait pour un couple ou les jeunes mariés. C'est un beau chalet.

A lovely week!

Such a charming cottage and great hosts! We used The Nugget as our home base to explore the coast and eat amazing seafood. We definitely fell in love with Maine! Warren and Cindy paid great attention to detail in designing and decorating the cottage. I’d go back in a second!

Wonderful!

Had an opportunity to visit the island during a tuna tournament. What a wonderful cottage! Perfect in every way imaginable. Warren and Cindy couldn’t have been more welcoming. Loved the beautiful flowers, awesome coffee and fresh fruits and vegies they provided for me upon my arrival. Seamless check in/out. Def plan to return next year.

A Gold Nugget, For Sure

Beside being super responsive, the owners provide quality amenities like marble countertops, silver flatware, Cuisinart cookware, Koler hardware fixtures, gorgeous hardwood floors, and thoughtful touches in personal care items. Quiet, peaceful, restorative environment adds to an incredible time at this property on Baileys island. So amazing!!

The Nugget Is A Treasure

My husband and I LOVED our stay at the Nugget on Bailey Island! Warren and Cindy are fantastic to work with and so responsive, as well as wonderful people. Throughout the cottage there were thoughtful touches, and the decor was impeccable. The space is perfect for a couple. We enjoyed having the windows open, hearing the birds, seeing the water. The cove and Giant's Stairs are easy walks from the cottage, and the Island has several great restaurants. Our favorite is Sundrenched. We would stay at the Nugget again anytime!

Couldn’t hope for better

The cottage was an absolute delight. Clean, well appointed, cozy and welcoming. It had all I could ask for. The washer and dryer came in handy too. Communication was excellent. Perfect for a single looking for peace, long walks and a place to write…or a couple enjoying the area. I will be booking again for next year.

The Nugget is a Treasure

We absolutely loved everything about The Nugget. Perfect for two, with views of the water from every side. Every amenity we could have ever imagined was at our disposal. The cottage was beautifully crafted and furnished. We would definitely stay here again!

Great spot

Wonderfully updated cottage by Mackerel cove. Only complaint was the sulfury water— I would recommend bringing bottled drinking water. Other than that our stay was perfect!

Bailey Island Retreat

This property is charming and comfortable with all the amenities needed for our 2 week stay. The hosts were a delight, always responding to inquiries promptly and asking us if we needed anything. Bailey Island is a favorite destination of ours and the cottage allowed us to enjoyed the island and the surrounding area to the fullest. We highly recommend!

Stunning little Nugget

The Nugget is such an amazing space, tucked away by Mackerel Cove. Every detail has been thought out with care. The hosts are informative, responsive and accommodating. They even came running over to provide a coffee maker we requested in place of the Keurig. The space is well stocked, the layout is beautiful, the landscaping is idyllic and the views are stunning. What a wonderful experience!

Mackerel Cove hidden gem

Great little private house right at the top of Mackerel cove. Views of the Merriconeag Sound from the kitchen and deck. The rooms are so well laid out, with a distinct good feel in every different area. Kitchen has everything and more. Washer and dryer was great to have. The shower was fantastic and hot. And of course the bed made it hard to get up early every morning… so comfy. On top of all this… we arrived to generous, lovely, delicious treats! Warren and Cindy go above and beyond.

Wonderful place for a relaxing week in Maine

Everything about the Nugget was perfect during our stay. We were so impressed by the many thoughtful amenities provided by the owners, who went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful visit. The Nugget itself was exceptionally clean and beautifully remodeled with great water views. (And I think it might have been the most comfortable mattress I’ve slept on at any vacation rental or hotel.) We highly recommend staying here for your Bailey Island vacation!

The Nugget The BEST

I've been traveling globally for some time. Rarely do you find nicer more attentive owners that care deeply about the guests than Cindy & Warren. Unfortunately I had a medical issue while at Bailey Island and they treated me as family. The cottage is adorable, clean and very functional. Solitude & Serenity. Would return in a heart beat....in fact I will!!

Perfect in every way!

Everything about the nugget is tasteful. The sheets are soft, the pillows are down, the countertop is honed. There is a water view out every window and the windows are new. The doors are beautifully milled. It really is delightful! Outside the area is charming and the hiking is amazing, especially the Bowdoin preserve. You can picnic at a different sandy spot each day. The water is crystal clear in Mackerel Cove as it is everywhere Mr. Burroughs gave us great hiking tips and any info that we needed. It was simply wonderful!

A very special "Nugget"

We spent a week on Bailey's Island, and loved every moment of it. Our stay at "The Nugget" could not have been better. "The Nugget" is a cozy cottage with views of the water and magnificent sunsets. The cottage is thoughtfully designed and furnished and outfitted with many lovely amenities, ranging from a well-equipped kitchen to a TV with access to Netflix to great bath products. From wine and beer in the fridge to flowers in the living room, Cindy and Warren thought of everything. They are gracious hosts who are always willing to offer suggestions about where to go and what to do in the area. We definitely hope to return.

We have been coming to bailey Island our whole lives and own a (summer only) cottage close by. We built Coveside (3br cottage) and renovated The Nugget (1br cottage) for the use of friends and family as we always have a crowd in the summer. We are renting them together or separately for parts of the summer.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Mackerel Cove is the prettiest and most authentic cove on the Maine coast in our opinion. We never get tired of watching the lobster and fishing boats come and go.
