Le Blue Heron Studio and Retreat est une cabine / cabine de deux chambres entièrement meublée à l'étage, surplombant le lac Cordell Hull dans le Upper Cumberland, dans le Tennessee. Il y a une cuisine gastronomique avec des tables séparées et des tables de jeux. Téléviseur grand écran. Le pont privé donne sur le lac et les bois. La véranda du premier étage de 40 pieds présente des sièges et des repas confortables. Amoureusement meublé avec une des grandes antiquités. Chambre à coucher principale avec lit queen. La chambre Bunkhouse dispose d'une grande taille et d'un lit jumeau. Roll a Ways sont disponibles sur demande. La confidentialité et la confidentialité est notre spécialité pour nos invités! Situé à proximité de Gainesboro, Granville, Carthage, et plus encore! Si vous éloignez de tout, c'est votre objectif, cette location charmante peut être pour vous! R & R Perfection

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The owners were great! It was very clean and beautifully decorated with antiques. There was a great view and the hot tub was awesome. This is a perfect place for someone wanting to get AWAY!

A home away from home

My partner and I have been wanting a place away from chaos, noise and the waves of an anxious desperation to survive. This place was exactly that. Peaceful, clean, calm, and beautiful. Our hosts Carla and Howard were very hospitable, generous and kind! Thank you for making our stay an even more positive experience.

Beautiful house w/ gorgeous view!

We had SUCH a good time at this house. A beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The hosts were SUPER nice and had it setup with all the comforts of home. Awesome to find fresh eggs, milk and OJ in the fridge! The serene setting and the hot-tub was just what the doctor ordered. Blessed to have found this place to enjoy over our anniversary (and the hosts too) :)

Beautiful Relaxing Stay

Rich, I and our 2 teenagers had a wonderful stay. The Listing was very accurate and the location and amenities were pleasantly better than the description. Property was very well maintained and very clean. Carla and Howard were very gracious owners- quick to respond to our emails and available if needed. I have already recommended the property to friends and relatives. The place is up in the hills and about a 40 min (beautiful) drive to stores and restaurants. There was plenty to do in the area. Next time we would plan on just staying at the home to enjoy the wonderful view, nature and hot tub. Julie

Beautiful Cabin met all of our needs!

This is one of the most beautiful cabins we have stayed in. Arriving at a warm cabin with nice music playing, and the hot tub heated was certainly a February treat. The cabin is located 'off the beaten path' with a great view of the lake. The hostess was very gracious. The property has lots of room to walk by the lake. The fridge and cabinets were stocked with staples. We loved our visits to Granville to the Sutton Ole Time Music Hour and to Crossville and Cookeville to see the waterfalls. The Cumberland Homesteaders community near Crossville is also a very interesting place to visit. There are very nice restaurants in Granville for meals out.

Our Stay Was Amazing!

Words can't really describe how much we enjoyed out stay. This cute studio has everything you need and is beautifully and tastefully decorated with antiques. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen, the nice living space, the hot tub and the beautiful view. This studio was perfect for our "Girls Weekend" getaway, but we were close enough to Nashville to spend one of our afternoons/evenings there as well. The owners live on the property and could not be any nicer! We met them the first night when we arrived and did not see them again until the morning we were supposed to leave. We had car trouble right as we were leaving to go home, and the owners were super helpful in recommending a tow truck and nearby dealership, and made sure we had everything we needed until we could get back on the road again. Super sweet owners, wonderful view, and nice studio. We will definitely be returning in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the mountains.

Magnificent!

We chose Blue Heron Retreat for the prospect of seeing fireflies (lighting bugs). By luck we managed to book the week the fireflies came out. We may have come solely for our first time seeing fireflies, but we came back with so much more : ) Our group of four needed a quiet retreat from our busy lives. When we travelled up the winding, lush canopied road to our lodging we knew we had picked the location perfectly. The accommodations were beautiful! The view amazing! Favourite things; sitting in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the lake while having morning coffees. Birdsong! Our “Merlin Bird ID” app had a hard time keeping up! Sitting on the porch watching the yard light up with fireflies - breathtaking : ) Having late night hot tub dips in the quiet was incredible…. I could go on and on. Most of all though, it was meeting the amazing couple who own Blue Heron, Carla and Howard; Ever respectful of our space, we were the ones who begged to spend time with them… even to the point of making “appointments” to have a bit of their time. We were wanting to hear about their incredible lives and experiences. We appreciated their wisdom and kindness so very much. It ended up being a really life changing experience for my daughter. If you need a quiet retreat, enveloped in the beauty of nature, and hosted by lovely people, this is the place! -holly, Alberta, Canada.

Peaceful stay!

Out trip was fantastic! The home was very clean and ready on time for us. The antique decor was lovely and interesting to view. It was so quiet and peaceful, with an amazing view! The owners were very nice also, and very quick to respond to messages. We would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Refreshing Retreat

Well worth the drive up the mountain in order to enjoy the gorgeous view. Several nearby small communities provided reasons to drive through the countryside full of fall foliage. Definitely recommend for a getaway retreat.

Relaxation

This was a wonderful property with amazing views. We needed a quiet and peaceful getaway that wasn’t too far from home. This was worth the three hour drive. I suggest getting your groceries on the way in and you don’t have to leave till checkout! Harold and Carla were amazing host. You have plenty of privacy even though they are next door. We would love to come again!

Off the beaten path…

Howard & Carla are fabulous overall & easy to reach if needed. Looking to stay in a private area…look no further! The Barn is a great getaway from home with an amazing view. My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and did not venture out to the lake, walking trails or let alone to a nearby city. Between the peacefulness, wildlife & scenery it is exactly what we needed!!!! Total relaxation and serenity at best!

This was our second visit. It was as enjoyable as the first visit, even with the extreme heat and humidity. When cool enough, the front porch and 2nd bedroom deck provide a wonderful spot to enjoy the scenery, read and relax. When it was hot, we could go inside and cool off and continue. Next visit we would like to come in the fall or spring.

Beautiful location

Our stay was the perfect get away from the business of the world. We enjoyed to solitude there. Everything was perfect. The hosts were wonderful people. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to get away from it all
