POESIA BELVEDERE, piscine exclusive, à l’eau salée.
Une ancienne tour de guet datant du XVe siècle, transformée ensuite en ferme par les barons de Silvatici, est située sur les pentes des monts Pisani, à 3 km du centre de la belle ville médiévale de Vicopisano. Il est dit que cette maison de Léonard de Vinci, un admirateur de Brunelleschi, a conçu la forteresse imprenable de Vicopisano dans un cadre qui est exposée dans la Galerie des Offices à Florence, une copie de ce qui est visible dans notre suite.
POESIA BELVEDERE est situé à une hauteur de 180 m. S.L. m. et il entouré d'oliveraies et de bois (plus de 170.000 mètres carrés). L'emplacement particulier où est le protège des hivers rigoureux ou des étés très chauds et est un point de départ idéal pour les amateurs de randonnée et de vélo de montagne. Pour les amateurs de chevaux peuvent participer organisée belle équitation dans une circonscription voisine.

Non loin des limites de notre propriété est à seulement 10 à pied »vous amène à la belle église de San Jacopo, situé dans la vallée du même nom. Il a été construit dans la période Lombard (VIII siècle) et a été à l'origine dédiée à Saint- Mamiliano, encore l'inscription inscrite sur le portail principal.

Aussi pour les marcheurs dans les 40 ', vous pouvez passer à plus de 500 mètres au dessus du niveau de la mer La Forteresse Verruca visiter situé sur sa montagne éponyme et surplombe et domine la plaine pisane et le fleuve Arno. Son emplacement stratégique a toujours fait un soutien précieux pour la sécurité de Pise, dans les siècles engagés dans des luttes sanglantes contre les Florentins: la roche a permis une triangulation visuelle entre Pise et le château de Vicopisano, relié à son tour avec le château de Buti et tout Lungomonte Pise.

POESIA BELVEDERE est situé à 14 'de la gare ferroviaire de Pontedera, 25' de la gare de l'aéroport et de la gare 23 km de Pise et de la Tour de Pise, à 23 km de Lucca, à 65 km de Florence, à 90 km de Siena, à 45 km de Volterra, à 30 km de Montecatini Terme, à 50 km de San Gimignano, à 45 'de Forte dei Marmi, 35' des belles falaises de Livourne et à 25 km de la belle plage de Marina di Vecchiano.

POESIA BELVEDERE étant situé dans le sud-est de Monti Pisani et étant à une hauteur de 180 mètres au dessus du niveau de la mer est un point de départ pratique pour une zone, il a probablement déjà habitée à l'époque étrusque, à travers des chemins qui serpentent parmi les chênes, de châtaigniers et de pins des arbres et des villes de passage riches en histoire, art et culture. Vous pouvez choisir des itinéraires plus difficile et fatigante suggestive ou plus simple et moins. La piscine de 3x12meters exclusive, avec de l'eau salée, couverte et découverte, de grandes terrasses sur lesquelles bronzer, l'oliveraie et l'ombre de la forêt, le calme, le silence et la quiétude de la maison entourent cet endroit c'est poétiquement un charme inoubliable. Notre hôte, simple et familier, rendra votre séjour passionnant, agréable et reposant plus que vous pouvez imaginer pour la santé de votre corps et votre esprit.

POESIA BELVEDERE est également non loin de lieux stations balnéaires connues (Marina di Pisa et Tirrenia) pour ceux qui aiment la mer, tandis que les amateurs de montagne peuvent rejoindre la célèbre ville de Castelnuovo Garfagnana, et en moins d'une heure, monter jusqu'à 1.500 mètres ( Radici Pass).
Pour ceux qui aiment les spas, vous pouvez rejoindre ceux de oliveraie, située dans la même municipalité ou, à quelques kilomètres,
ceux de Casciana et de San Giuliano Terme.

Wow! The view and hospitality were second to none.

Antonio and Sylvia are amazing! They greeted us when we got there, and took us through the house. Then they were readily available whenever we had questions, via text or email was best. Then when we left, they gave us the most thoughtful gift to remember our vacation. The view from the house over the towns is unmatched and we had so much fun in the evenings sitting out on the patio playing cards or just talking. We highly recommend this house!

Beautiful Villa incredible location

The Villa is in a great location. Up in the hills with a beautiful view. My family enjoyed staying here. The location is very close to a train station which allowed us to travel many different places after a 20 minute drive to get to the station. Morning and evenings were picture perfect. Eating a meal outside and enjoying the lights of the city below was especially nice. The owners are great people and were friendly and helpful. I wish we had more time to spend at the Villa. We traveled every day to Florence Rome Venice etc.so we left early and came back late. My one wish is that the master bedroom had air conditioning like the other rooms did because it was hot while we were there. Apart from that the Villa is perfect and we would highly recommend staying there.

It was beautiful, relaxing and we loved our hosts!

What a special place to stay! The home is beautiful and accommodated three couples perfectly. We had so much fun hiking and swimming on and around the property! The nearby small towns were charming and it was also easy to drive to many other wonderful places like Lucca, Volterra and Mediterranean beach towns. Our hosts Antonio and Sylvia are two of the most lovely and welcoming people one can meet. We had a perfect vacation thanks to them and their wonderful villa.

Lovely retreat in the hills!

We fell in love with Vicopisano, and Antonio and his wife were very gracious during our stay. The views are amazing! The beds were comfortable, too. Our son had a great time swimming in the pool. Be sure to bring your own bottled water and all will be well. Thank you for a lovely time!

Beautiful views, friendly owners!

Sylvia and her husband were wonderful hosts! Sylvia cooked a 4-course meal for us our first night there. It was one of the best meals we had in Italy. Plus we sat on the patio and watched the full moon come up. Amazing! The house is special and the grounds are beautiful. Lots of room to find a chair or couch to lounge and enjoy. Antonio made suggestions on our day trips and we loved everything he suggested! Truly a magical stay...

INCREDIBLE HOME AND OWNERS

We have travelled all over much of the world over the last 40 years. We can honestly state that this villa was exquisite and furnished beautifully with many antiques. The view on top of the mount was breathtaking. The owners, Antonio and Silvia are unquestionably the finest, dearest owners we have ever met. They could not do enough for us and at the end of our one month stay with them felt like family. .upon leaving, we hugged and kissed with affection knowing we would miss each other. We cannot recommend Antonio and Silvia and their beautiful villa more enthusiatically.

Character and Tranquillity

Our family had an unforgettable stay at this charming villa, and we can’t recommend it enough! We were captivated by its history and quirky character. The tranquil surroundings provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. We loved waking up to the sounds of nature and enjoyed our coffee and meals in the beautifully maintained outside space. The villa was well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches like the welcome basket and some delicious home-made food. The hosts Antonio and Silvia are incredibly nice people (the world needs more people like them), and they were super accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. There are many memorable places to visit within a drivable distance. Apart from the obvious ones, we’d recommend Montecatini Terme, and it’s Crocodile Fountain; the village of Volterra (visit the torture museum for something different), or Wind Caves (Grotta del Vento) that is a bit further away. There are many more smaller villages around to immerse yourselves in the local culture. A small word of caution - the villa is situated on the hill, so the last kilometre or so goes through narrow winding roads that might seem difficult for inexperienced drivers, though it’s definitely nothing scary. All in all, if you’re looking for a place that offers both character and tranquillity, this villa is a gem!

I had very pleasant experience

Everything was wonderful. The house is beautiful and I felt it was a dream every time I stood on the terrace and looked down at the town. We we surrounded by olive trees and beautiful flowers that released amazing smells, especially jasmine, which happens to be one of my favorite. Stepping into the house was like traveling back in time with exquisite architecture and decor. It rained while we were there and we were lucky to see the breathtaking waterfall on the side of the driveway leading up to the house. The owners, Antonio and Silvia were delightful. They provided us with local events and suggestions. We visited a little town called Monte Carlo thanks to Antonio and had a wonderful time. This experience is unforgettable. Thank you Antonio and Silvia for your beautiful home and hospitality.

Absolutely beautiful home on a magical Tuscan hillside. Sylvia and Antonio perfect hosts!

Our family of six loved our week at Posia Belvedere. The pool was warm and a great end of the day place to swim and relax. Extremely centrally located for day trips to Lucca, Florence, Alpi Apuane National Park, Cinque Terre, Pisa, San Miniato, and more. The charming nearby towns of Vicopisano and Buti had delicious reasonably priced restaurants. Sylvia made us a fantastic home cooked dinner the first night, which we ate out on the terrace beneath a star studded sky! Breakfast each morning was delicious. Sylvia and Antonio's love of the region and their warmth and sincere hospitality brought us endless good feelings. You can walk on footpaths for hours behind the house, and be in the midst of the villages and feel the true essence of Tuscany. Wildflowers abound, and the house has beautiful roses and garden. Can't say enough about the beautiful place in Italy. Hope to return one day.

Perfect Family Retreat

Such a wonderful property, beautifully landscaped and set among acres of olive trees, the views are stunning! Antonio and Sylvia were the perfect hosts, welcoming us when we pulled in and always quick to reply to inquiries about the property or about the best restaurants and other attractions in the extended area. There were some breakfast items (including fresh fruit), frozen local artisan pizzas and a bottle of wine provided to get us through the first few meals. Sylvia also surprised us with some home-cooked treats, which were absolutely delicious! If you're planning to self-cater, you'll want to stock up on some kitchen/cleaning items. Not much in the way of groceries in town, but the Pam Superstore about ten minutes further down the road has everything you could possibly need. Also a Lidl and a Coop nearby for quicker grocery trips. After exploring a different medieval town (many, many within a 30-60 minute drive), we cooled off and relaxed in the pool daily. The driveway is long and steep, but it provides for much privacy and was no problem with five adults in our small rental SUV. The interior of the villa is charming. Each bedroom is very private, and it's great that each also has its own bath. Vicopisano, the nearest town, has a great bakery, a couple of very good restaurants, and the best gelato in Tuscany. The Brunelleschi Tower is definitely worth a tour, as is the Frantioio di Vicopisano olive farm on the way to Vicopisano from the villa.

It's not just a villa, it's a museum of art and culture! The amount of details in each room and even bathroom is unbelievable. You need two days to just discover and appreciate the way Antonio and Silvia decorated the place. There is even a Billiard table in the house, the kind that doesn't have pockets, it's for those who love to play 3-Cushion. The terrace and the garden were very well taken care of. The highlight was the pool which is around 13m long, 2.5m wide and 1.5m deep and had light in it for swimming in the night and there is a possibility to cover it to swim in a rainy day. The pool was filled with salt water and Antonio cleaned it twice a week. The place is surrounded by trees, mostly olive trees and it's perfect to relax and just feel disconnected from the stressful daily life. The view over Vicopisano and other towns is unbelievably beautiful, especially at sunset, when the Classical music starts to play for an hour at the pool. Antonio and Silvia live on the other side of the house, and were there to help us with anything we needed. They truly respected our private sphere and surprised us one day with a delicious pizza and a home made chocolate cake. On the last day they gave us a very beautiful present as an appreciation for being good guest and leaving the place clean and tidy. For inexperienced drivers the road to the villa can be a little challenging, but for those who used to drive among the mountains on tiny roads, it's a peace of cake.We loved it there!

Excellent location and great hosts

Me and my husband plus our son age 16 plus friends of us stayed in the villa for a week. The owner Silvia and Antonio made us so welcome in their home. The villa is very spacious with thick walls and optimum air circulation if you have the windows a bit open. All bedrooms have air condition, except INFINITY bedroom, but due to the excellent air circulation we did not miss it. The nearest train station - Pontedera-Casciana Terme - is about 20 minutes drive away, with regular trains to Pisa and Florence. You could easily reach Siena by train from Empoli as well in approx. 1 hour. As it is a Bed+Breakfast Silvia prepares beautiful italian breakfast every morning with mokka coffee, fruit salad and a lot of Italian sweets. Our favourite restaurant for dinner was Ristorante Al Vecchio Molino in Buti. Silvia prepared also a fantastic dinner for us with excellent olives from their own trees. If you would like to have dinner at POESIA BELVEDERE we recommend you to have it on Monday, because a lot of restaurants in the surrounding are closed on Monday. The pool is very clean and you find always a shady corner to protect yourselfs against the burning heat in the summer. And last but not least we should mention another villa resident we felt in love - Balou, the very, very kindly watchdog who guards the whole area during the night and accompanied us on the walk to San Jacopo.

Our group of four stayed here for six nights in late May/early June. The house is in a beautiful location high in the hills above Vicopisano. The property feels secluded and the views are breathtaking. The town of Vicopisano is charming, and we had excellent meals at Osteria Vecchia Posta, Aurora Taverna, and Torre Pizza. Antonio and Sylvia were lovely- they are the heart and soul of the B&B experience here. The home is very much an extension of their personalities and experiences, it is more like staying with a relative than staying in a typical rental property. They were friendly, attentive, and very helpful. Sylvia prepared breakfast for us the first day, and provided what was necessary for us to make breakfast ourselves on the remaining days - fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and bread items. They came in and washed all the dishes in the morning after we had left for the day, which was very nice. The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed one sunny afternoon there, most of the other days it was a little too cold. After our first night, we let Sylvia know that two of the mattresses were very uncomfortable- they actually replaced both mattresses with new firm mattresses the next day! This is beyond what I would expect of a host in a rental property, and it was very much appreciated. .As I said earlier, the house is very authentic and personal, and it is full of art, furniture, books, and many decor items. While we enjoyed this in the general living and dining areas, it could be a challenge in the bedrooms and bathrooms, as there were not many available surfaces where we could put our own things. We did temporarily move some items, but I was always a little worried about breaking something or disturbing the order of the decorations. Overall, our stay was a great experience. If you are looking for an authentic, personal, and memorable stay in the Tuscan countryside, this may be the place for you. You certainly will not find hosts who are more kind and pleasant than Sylvia and Antonio.

Maison magnifique sur les hauteurs de Vicopisano

La maison est grande et en hauteur avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée de l'Arno. Elle est très ancienne, proche de Pise et Volterra et du train pour Florence. Une situation idéale. Les propriétaires habitent à l'arrière de la maison mais sont extrêmement discrets. Ils sont néanmoins exceptionnellement gentils, réactifs et prêts à nous conseiller et renseigner sur la région.

Superverblijf

Voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur en prachtige uitzichten, is dit HET adres!! De gastheer Antonio is een zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame man, hij staat steeds discreet klaar!! Zelfs onze 4 jonge kids werden hartelijk onthaald en voorzien van zelfgekweekt vers fruit! Het huis is een pareltje: wie graag enkele decenia terug in de tijd wil gaan, maar toch nood heeft aan hedendaagse accomodatie is dit the place to be!! Wij raden dit verblijf ten zeerste aan!! Enige minpuntje: bereikbaarheid met een grote auto (a la opel zafira life 8-zit) is de eerste keer echt een uitdaging, maar je geraakt er wel!!

We spent several days at the villa in mid-september of 2022. We enjoyed very much the hospitality and kindness of the owners, Sylvia and Antonio. Their villa is charming, full of their family souvenirs, and the view over the valley is breathtaking. A place to remember for sure!

Außergewöhnliches, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltete Villa, in atemberaubender Lage.

Ich hatte dieses traumhafte, einzigartige Haus glücklicherweise, bei FeWo-direkt gefunden, um mit meinem Mann, meinen beiden Kindern und deren Partnern, hier meinen runden Geburtstag vom letzten Jahr, zu begehen. Der herzliche Empfang am Anreisetag erfolgte durch Antonio und Silvia, dem Gastgeberehepaar. Wir wurden durch das außergewöhnliche, alte Haus geführt und mit diesem vertraut gemacht. Jeder Wohnraum ist ein Unikat und wir konnten uns gar nicht genug satt sehen, an den vielen Antiquitäten, Gemälden und wunderbaren Gegenständen im gesamten Haus. Jedes Paar hatte ein Schlafzimmer und ein eigenes Bad, perfekt. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Für das erste Frühstück, hatten Antonio und Silvia einige Sachen gekauft. Als Begrüßung stand auch eine Flasche Rotwein bereit, die wir dann am Abend genossen haben. Unser Lieblingsplatz war die überdachte Terrasse, angeschlossen an die Küche. Dort haben wir gegessen, getrunken, gelesen, Schach und Anderes gespielt und uns einfach wohl gefühlt. Außerdem haben wir viel Zeit an dem wunderschönen Pool verbracht, dieser war sehr sauber und alles ist sehr gepflegt. Mein Highlight war das tägliche, einstündige Konzert am Pool, mit vielen klassischen Musikstücken, über zwei Lautsprecher zu hören. Antonio war zu jeder Zeit erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen oder Wünsche hatten. Zwischendurch gab es eigens hergestellte Oliven und selbstgemachte Marmelade. Ich weiß nicht, was es besser zu machen geht, es war für uns ein besonderes Erlebnis in diesem Haus und wir danken Antonio und Silvia sehr herzlich, für ihre unaufdringliche Gastfreundschaft. Ich hoffe, wir kommen bald wieder in dieses Paradies zurück. Danke,Danke,Danke.....sagen Annika und Silvio, Philipp und Dorothea, sowie Andreas und Sigrid.

Super verblijfplaats

Heerlijk huis om een week te verblijven. Silvia en Antonio hebben voor ons overheerlijk gekookt, we hebben ons laten verwennen. Het zwembad voldeed ook aan onze verwachtingen. Een slaapkamer moest het doen met een plafond ventilator ipv airco, een andere ruimte was groot voor de airco, daar was het in de nacht ook nog warm. We verbleven in een week dat het overdag 37 graden was. De hele week van privacy genoten, ook al wonen de gastheer en gastvrouw aan de achterkant. We hebben het niet gemerkt. Tip: kruiden e.d. Om te koken zijn er niet. Doe eerst boodschappen voordat je aankomt.

Ein toller Urlaub

Für uns (drei Erwachsene) war das schön gelegene Haus perfekt. Wir haben die Ruhe, den herrlichen Blick auf die Ebene, den Pool und die Ausflüge in die Toskana sehr genossen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, haben sich um alles gekümmert. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
