Christmas Vacation in the sun

We had an amazing time over the holidays at the property! Great communication with the staff and super friendly! We needed a larger parking spot for our car and we were accommodated no problem. We would definitely stay here again. So close to the beach and amenities. Very happy we picked this spot!

Enjoyed our stay in this one bedroom 2 bath unit. Location is great and the grounds are well maintained. Beach was only a 3-5 min. walk and there are places to eat and shop close by

From the Maui Banyan to the Maui Sunset

Usually my family likes to stay at the Maui Banyan but this time the unit was not clean and no A/C in the bedroom. We were moved to the Maui Sunset and that unit was great. Clean, nicely decorated and cool. We enjoyed our stay there. Reviews are for the Maui Sunset unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: we had a great vacation overall. found that the condo we rented could have been cleaner than we found it. dryer was full of sheets on our arrival. Great complex, great location. Property is in need of some minor maintenance and could use a thorough cleaning. Necessary repairs were completed in a timely manner. With a bit of work could be a very comfortable and cost effective place to stay. It's not quite there yet but has huge potential.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Tolerable, but could have been (deep) cleaner and amenities were slim. Linens threadbare and with holes. Owner left lots of "stuff" so difficult to unpack. Carpet needed cleaning, one toilet needed attention, towel rack in second bathroom loose and kept coming off the wall. Person who cleaned the carpet left a brown bare-foot print on bathroom rug.No means to easily access building after hours.

We found the proximity to beaches, grocery store, Maalea Harbor, Zippy’s :), local shopping, and the rest of the island to be very convenient.
