Le meilleur de la côte pour vous ici au Peaceful River Cabin. Cette cabine récemment redécorée se trouve directement sur la rivière Bon Secour. Ce 2 chambres 1 salle de bain est idéal pour vos vacances loin. Cuisine, salle à manger et salon à aire ouverte. Nous redécorons maintenant, des photos intérieures à venir bientôt. 2 chambres avec suffisamment de place pour 6 personnes avec un lit King size dans le maître et deux lits jumeaux dans la deuxième chambre, également un canapé avec un lit dans le salon. Couleurs vives et mobilier confortable. La vie à l'extérieur est l'endroit où vous voudrez être avec beaucoup de sièges pour profiter pleinement de la vue. .
Il y a tellement de choses à faire ou à ne rien faire du tout, mais à admirer le magnifique paysage. Vous pouvez pêcher juste à côté de votre jetée directement en face de la maison, la piscine est à quelques pas afin que les enfants puissent aller et venir à leur guise pendant que vous vous détendez et regardez la marée monter ou descendre. Vous pouvez griller vos prises et manger sur la terrasse. puis partez pour une croisière au coucher du soleil dans votre bateau (si vous choisissez d'en apporter un) à Mobile Bay, à seulement 15-20 minutes en bateau. Nous avons souvent des dauphins venus dans la rivière pour nourrir et enseigner leurs jeunes juste devant la maison! Faites du kayak ou flottez simplement dans la rivière. Nous avons aussi des voisins amicaux. De nombreux oiseaux à surveiller - des pélicans bruns toute l'année avec des pélicans blancs en migration en hiver. Canards et canards migrateurs aussi, grues, hérons et parfois mouettes aussi. Vous pouvez également atteindre les pêcheries en bateau, quel régal d'aller chercher votre dîner en bateau et revenir le cuisiner et dîner au bord de l'eau. Juste au cas où le voyage de pêche ne se serait pas bien passé, ramassez simplement vos "prises" sur le chemin du retour.
Nous sommes situés à 5 minutes de la pêche où les bateaux de crevettes entrent afin que vous ayez accès aux crevettes et aux fruits de mer les plus frais tous les jours. Aquillia, Billy's et Bon Secour Fisheries.
Il existe de nombreuses activités et attractions très proches. Parc aquatique de Waterville, karts à The Track, nombreux putt, emplacements de putt, Orange Beach possède un grand quai de pêche public, une tyrolienne, de nombreux ports de plaisance pour la pêche, dont Zeke's, Outcast, San Roc Cay, Sportsman. Grands restaurants partout et de nombreux terrains de golf à choisir. Mais le plus important est la plage, à seulement 10>

five day relax

Drive down from Minnesota went well. Weather was nice for the first four days a little rainy the last day. Place is very neat and tidy lots and lots of local stuff to look at will have to come down another trip to look at more of it. Very pleasant experience.

Bon Secour retreat

The river condo was as described. Our visit was peaceful and pleasant. Jason was prompt in requests. The scenery was special., even saw dolphins and an osprey snatching a fish.

Beautiful home on secluded River

We loved the area and especially staying right on the river. The wildlife is everywhere. We were able to go kayaking and fish right from the back door. Loved everything about it.

Wonderful vacation rental

This rental on the Bon Secour River was excellent. Comfortable and clean, well kept, nicely furnished and stocked with necessities. Peaceful and relaxing. Saw dolphins, cranes and lots of other birds, some turtles and gators. Caught some blue claws and fed a lot of bait stealers. Well shaded so you can avoid the heat for a good part of the day. We give it a two thumbs up.

Nice getaway

We wanted somewhere we could relax but still be close enough to the beaches. Located out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist flooded areas. We enjoyed the pool, fishing and kayaks. We really loved all the wildlife including dolphins that swam right to our dock.

Bon Secour River

This was one of the best Vrbo stays we've had in recent memory. Check-in and out were well-explained and didn't ask us to do too much. Essentially, a breeze. We couldn't have had a better experience. The accommodations were wonderful. It's a beautiful neighborhood located right on the Bon Secour River. Very close to the beach and restaurants. The house was very clean. The hosts were also easy to get in touch with and responded quickly to communications. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. We loved it so much, we're already looking forward to another stay.

Serenity Along the River

The condo was quaint. The river serene. We enjoyed watching pelicans, heron, osprey, turtles, and even saw dolphins swimming up the river! Kayaking the river was a highlight. And only 15 minutes to the ocean without all the busyness. Wonderful place!

Spring break/ baseball tournament

We had a wonderful stay. Close enough to spend the day at the beach. Wonderful outdoor area to relax and enjoy nature when too cold for the beach. Great fishing. Loved sitting on the covered porch during the rainy day. We will definitely book again!

Wonderful pelican watching!

We had a great stay at Jason's cottage on stilts. The unit was very clean and the area quiet. The only drawback is getting out of the property onto the road, and the lack of anywhere to walk, but that is not Jason's fault, it's county road issue; no shouldersband heavy traffic. Watching the pelicans and ducks on the river was great fun!

Perfect location and great host!

The listing really doesn't do this condo justice. The setting is absolutely beautiful and it was perfect for our family of four and small dog. The kids had tons of fun things to keep them occupied so even when we weren't off out and about they were at the pool or kayaking or fishing, rather than waiting around. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean, and Jason was super responsive. We hope to come back in the future if we are able!

This place is amazing! Absolutely great place to get away and relax!

Jason’s property on the Bon Secour River is exactly what we needed for a week to relax and unwind! Jason was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. The pictures are great, but do not do this place the justice it deserves. This unit is very clean, nestled in a quaint neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and has quick access to numerous restaurants and shops. We spent most of our time outside on the decks watching birds, river otters, jumping mullet, and turtles… the wildlife did not disappoint. We had planned on hopping over to the beach, but after lounging at the pool that overlooks the river, we didn’t even bother. The kitchen is fully stocked for anything you would need for an overnight or extended stay. All furniture and beds were comfortable… several naps were taken on the patio furniture on the lower deck/seating area. We had plenty of room to park our large pickup truck underneath the unit. The upper deck has a nice gate that kept our dogs safely contained on the upper level while we enjoyed relaxing with them up there. Highly recommend the Tin Top Restaurant (also recommended to us by Jason) as it is very close with great service, and tasty, but diverse menu. I usually have recommendations for improvement, but it is obvious that Jason takes pride in his home, and we were very pleased throughout our entire stay. We will be recommending this place to our friends and family, and we will be back. Thanks for a great week, Jason!

Peaceful and quiet!

I didn’t realize I needed to get away from it all until I stayed here! We planned on spending time at the beach but only went twice, for only a bit each time. We caught a few fish, used the crab trap and caught a few crabs, kayaked a ton, and swam in the pool. We saw lots of turtles and even watched an alligator while we fished. It’s just an amazing area for your soul! The unit itself is perfectly fine and comfortable, and Jason gave us everything we needed. We just had to show up!

Amazing

This place is amazing! Beautiful river view, a dolphin frequently comes in and swims close to the deck, super clean with all the amenities of home. The property owner is very easy to work with and reach if there is anything needed (doubt if you would need anything because you ha e it all there!) Outta the busy city but close enough to drive for the day and see the sights. Completely would stay here again if we were to return!

Our Home Away From Home

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and we enjoyed every second of it again! It’s our little family hideaway from the busy Gulf Shores life. It’s amazing to sit and relax on the private deck below and watch be wildlife on the Bon Secour River. After spending the day at the beach we loved ordering a pizza from The Galley next door and ending the day with a swim at the pool. The outlets are super close too! We love coming here and will definitely be back! Jason, the owner is great to work with too! If you stay here you won’t be disappointed!

Nice location

Throughly enjoyed this location. We stayed 5 days and this location was great. Nice to be away from the beach crowd. It’s a quick 15 mins drive to the beach and major attractions for all your daytime fun and than a nice quiet evening back at home. Had fun using the kayaks and fishing from the dock even got to see a few dolphins come in during the morning. Will be booking again on our next trip down. Jason gave me a call a few days before my trip and let me know all the key details and some good local info and was a great host.

perfect setting

We had a great stay, super peaceful and even had dolphins come near our deck. We did not catch as many fish as we had hoped for, but enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Also conveniently located close to all the shops, restaurants, and beaches. It really is a perfect location to have a bit of it all.

Texas two-step back to BAMA

Jason was amazing at responding and informing even calling to help us know what to expect. This easy going quiet location is perfect for getaway but still close by for local attractions and the beaches. We really enjoyed all the extras this VRBO had to offer, location, calm River water front w/ kayaks and a punching bag to boot! The kids enjoyed to pool too. It was a cozy but still spacious enough for 4 adults and two kids fit very comfortably! We will definitely return!! ROLL TIDE!!

Perfect location

The property was perfectly located on the Bon Secour river. We were also very close to shopping, gas and only about 20 minutes from the beach (depending on traffic). We did get to see a dolphin, but we did not have a lot of luck fishing. I have to blame that on user error and not the property. Jason had the property well stocked for any occasion. Make sure to check all the drawers and cabinets if you are looking for something because he probably has it stocked. My son took out a kayak a few times and there were lots of fishing poles available. There was a slight hiccup checking in, but it was more of a technical error and resolved itself quickly. We will definitely rent from here the next time we are in the area.
