L'apparence générale de Woodside View est semblable à une grange avec les parois inférieures en pierre naturelle, les zones supérieures revêtus de bois de cèdre et le toit est en ardoise locale. Le design est destiné à se fondre dans la forêt et la campagne environnante. La grande fenêtre fonction de sommet offre une vue superbe sur les ouverts bois et toits où le soleil se lève. Idéalement situé à Dartmouth 4 miles (d'entraînement de 10 minutes) et les autres principales villes de Totnes, Kingsbridge et Salcombe à portée de main.

It looked great on the photos, and turned out exactly like that. Beautifully presented in a lovely setting. It was like being at home but better. We had a great week.

Fully enjoyed stopping at the property. Weather so hot, thank you for the fan which was so useful. Excellent facilities and view from large window lovely. My wife wants to adopt the lambs in the field opposite!!

Woodside View

We stayed at this property for a week in mid June and had a marvellous stay. The apartment is lovely and the views of the surrounding countryside are idyllic. The owners gave us a really helpful introduction and all the appliances worked well. The location is ideal for visits to Dartmouth- (great for meals, ferries and historic views)and surrounding area - we spent several days walking sections of the South West Coastal path which is terrific, and visited several very interesting National Trust properties which are very nearby. It’s a truly beautiful part of the country and we absolutely recommend the apartment and the location for an amazing holiday

This place was ideal for a short escape. The area is really quite and is only a short drive from Dartmouth. The property was clean and had everything we needed. Will definitely be returning

Idyllic retreat

Fantastic clean and comfortable accommodation. Karen and David are really friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. It is a real home from home, modern and very well equipped. The views are stunning and the location is so convenient for many tourist attractions. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Thank you to the hosts for all their hard work.

Absolutely lovely place to stay

This was such a lovely place to stay, it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. And the views through the front window were wonderful. It’s in such a central location and easy to get anywhere. The communication from the Karen and David was excellent, and some great recommendation on places to eat (the pub at Blackawton is a 10 minute walk and is well worth a visit but best book).. wholeheartedly recommend.

A beautiful secluded hideaway

A lovely cottage with stunning views through the featured floor to ceiling window - our favourite was watching a trio of hawks circling the fields. Property was immaculate and clean, and the hosts are friendly and helpful. Close to numerous seaside walks, quiet villages and great restaurants. Highly recommended!

Country retreat

Lovely property to spend a week or two in a lovely part of the country. The property is super-well appointed with a beautiful view from a stunning feature window in the living room. Excellent hosts who responded quickly when we had a problem. Overall a graet find- a hidden gem

We moved down to the South Hams in 2010 after living in Bath for 25 years. This area was well known to us after having spent many enjoyable holidays with our family in the past.
We are now semi retired and are fully integrated into the local community.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We wanted to be close to the main principal towns in the South Hams - Totnes, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. David in particular has always had a desire to be close to the sea and beaches.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Blackawton seemed the ideal choice for our move being just outside the village but within walking distance from local pub, restaurant, village shop etc.
With its wonderful panaramic views and wildlife we knew Woodside seemed the perfect location.
