Golondrina / Alexa1 est situé au premier rang de la plage, dans le meilleur groupe (le IV) du 7 d'un hôtel 3 étoiles réputé, face à la longue plage (drapeau bleu) de Matagorda, à quelques minutes du coeur du centre touristique de Puerto Del Carmen. Ici, à moins de 60 mètres de la plage de 18 kilomètres qui s'étend entre Puerto del Carmen et Arrecife, les clients profiteront avant tout de la détente, tout en pouvant facilement accéder à toutes les commodités, boutiques, restaurants et supermarchés. C'est un bungalow d'angle avec une belle terrasse ensoleillée entièrement meublée (chaume) dans l'exposition sud-ouest (selon la saison, le soleil est de 9 ou 10 heures jusqu'au coucher du soleil); dernier de sa rangée de petits blocs de 4-5 bungalows mitoyens. De la terrasse, les clients ne regardent pas le mur à côté de la station, mais sur un grand jardin de palmiers, créé comme un brise-vent: la touche unique de Matagorda! Entre les palmiers, les étincelles, surtout dans l'après-midi, l'Atlantique, et les couchers de soleil sur Lanzarote sont dramatiques.

Excellent accommodation

The bungalow is in a fabulous location close to the beach, shops and restaurants in peaceful surroundings. The accommodation has great amenities and there is a pool nearby. The owners are brilliant and are easily contacted. We will definitely return.

Nice spot to relax and enjoy your break. Sept 01 to 09/ 24

This property is nicely positioned and has a small piece of garden with loungers for lazing, it's quite a walk to shops etc and for me in my Eighties near impossible. So we were able to hire mobility scooters and with a little care you can put them up on the patio for charging, we found everything in good order except for the seating which are uncomfortable,the cushions are quite hard of course, that may be just because I am used to a luxery recliner at home. The place was spotlessly clean and Sandra the woman that does arrived on time and is very pleasant. Alessandro and Zeno met us on the doorstep and explained where everything was inside and in the surrounding area, A lovely couple and very helpful and the bottle of wine etc was much appreciated. If you are looking for a quiet holiday or perhaps I should say peaceful,this is for you. Terence and Jacqueline.

great little bungalow

Alessandra the owner is a lovely lady and was there to meet us on arrival and took the time to show us round the property. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and on a nice complex. Our daughter has walking difficulties and has a wheelchair so this property was perfect for us as the complex and sea front are very flat and you can walk for miles in both directions. We had a very relaxing holiday.

Brilliant property

Had a wonderful stay, at alexandra bungalow, it had everything we needed. At the end of the row so it had a large garden and was nice and quite. Would definitely recommend this property, and Alexandrag meet us and showed us how everything worked. Will be back.

Home from home with the sun.

Thank you Alex for letting us share your comfortable, clean, and well equipped holiday home. We have just returned after spending 1 month in Alex1 and are missing it already. It has everything you need for a perfect holiday and is also near to beach,shops and restaurants and nothing is to much trouble for Alex. We were so impressed we have already booked for 1 month next year.

Perfect Holiday!

Had a fabulous 2 weeks holiday in Alex's bungalow . We stayed in Golondrina 2 last summer but decided to book this one for this year as there were 4 of us and it was slightly bigger. We were not disappointed! The bungalow had been totally refurbished and was spotless and well maintained . Alex came to meet us on arrival and was friendly and helpful. The garden was large with a patio area perfect for sunbathing or sitting in the evening with a cool drink. Just a few minutes walk from shops , restaurants,and the sea front . Perfect in every way. Thankyou Alex for another wonderful holiday!

Home from home

Perfect in every way

I have just returned from Alessandras Bungalow with my daughter who has walking difficulties and I found the bungalow to be everything I had wanted and more. No hills, all on flat level, 1 minute from sea, one minute from the Commercial Centre which hosts bars and restaurants and shops. Everything you could need on your doorstep. The bungalow itself was furnished to a high standard. It had a lovely large walk in shower and also an outside shower which was quite liberating to use! The beds were very comfortable too. Alessandra called on our arrival to show us how everything worked and also called again during our stay to ensure everything was OK. Felt really comfortable there as I was on my own with my daughter. The pool was great and was quite warm. We will definitely be booking this bungalow again. Many thanks to Alessandra for our stay and her friendly assistance. Was much appreciated. And most importantly, my daughter had a fantastic time. 😄👍😄

Wonderful !

From booking to arrival , lots of information from the owner . The bungalow lived up to expectations . In terms of kitchenware every little thing was there .Beds were very comfortable with memory foam mattress and pillows. It was very peaceful too. We only used the air conditioning one night when it was just too hot .. so effective. Bathroom was spacious and she had even provided a first aid kit we had a problem with electrics/boiler one night and Alessandra was there within 20 minutes to have matters resolved . in terms of access, there is a ramp up to the patio for mobility scooter users . Its very close to the Matagorda CC but no noise , and although airport is nearby we were not at all disturbed as someone said in a previous review, when we met Alessandra it was like greeting an old friend .( we have made a new one !) we have been hiring villas for years and this is the first time any owner has taken the trouble to visit and show how things work. we aim to be back next year again Thank you

Golondrinal 1

Property beautifully furnished and met all our needs. Location just perfect and near to all amenities. We stayed there on 2 occasions. Property exceedingly clean and well maintained. Alessandra called/rang to see if we needed anything extra and was very friendly to us. Would love to stay there again if bookings permit. Would definitely recommend this property to our friends. It was like a home away from home.

We had a lovely, peaceful stay. The apartment had all we required. Although the bungalow was every peaceful it was only a stone's throw to shops and bars and not forgetting the lovely safe beach. Hope to return.

Fantastic!

This has been our second stay at Alex's lovely bungalow. She has completed refurbishments which only add to the comfortable property.Its a real home from home and everything you could possibly need is at hand. We cant recommend this property or its lovely owner highly enough!

Excellent Bungalow excellent location

This is the best self-catering Apartment/bungalow we have ever stayed in, was a real home from home excellent furnishing, very comfortable beds. The apartment was very well equipped LED TV with English films, DVD player and a selection of DVD’s and books, USB film stick, music player. The kitchen area had everything you required for food preparation Microwave, mini oven, large work top griller ideal for cooking that English breakfast and a really good fridge with freezer, coffee Grinder and Maker just to mention a few items. The apartment is in a lovely secluded area with lovely views and sun all day the beach is only a stones through away literally as is the commercial central which has several bars restaurants and shops. Would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful apartment and looking forward to a return visit, wanted to return in September but was fully booked, next year is a must. This is a 5star plus Bungalow and very very clean and at a very reasonable price. Alex the owner gave us such a warm welcomed on arrival I thought she was a long lost friend.

Perfection

Villa was super and really clean. 1 minute to the right for pool and 3 minutes to the left for beach. Views were fabulous and welcome pack such a lovely generous thought. Alex was a fabulous host and nothing was a bother for her. Villa is perfectly situated and no noise We have been to matagorda many times and this is the best villa so far, we will definetly be back. lovely peaceful setting

the bungalow is superb, it has everything you would need on holiday spotlessly clean good walk in shower very comfortable beds it is in a quiet position in the complex yet only a few yards to a lovely pool. shops bars restaurants is only a few minutes walk and the beach is across the road my wife has a mobility problem yet we found it ideal the owner allesandra is really helpful and very friendly i fully recommend this bungalow havingvisited matagorda many times this is the best place we have stayed at

WELL EQUIPPED

Bungalow 1 is very well equipped & good value, even down to supplying beach towels. The owner is very helpful. Comfortable beds, quality towels. Very quiet and effiecient ceiling fan in the bedroom and aircon/heater in the livingroom. Plenty of decent pans, crockery etc. Access to the complex is via a secure entrace. Overlooks the palm grove paths to the beach & commercial centre, quiet but enough activity to people watch. The bungalow is the end 1 in its block therefore people do not walk directly past your patio area. The garden is quite large with it being a corner plot and gets the sun all day. We paid for wifi via reception and cover was decent although only 1 phone/tablet could be used at a time. A couple of minutes walk to shops & bars. Promenade directly outside the complex where you can walk for miles in either direction. You do get aeroplane noise but we didn't find it a problem & it is not during the night. We would recommend this bungalow and would visit again.

Fantastic bungalow

From the moment we arrived Alessandra made us feel at home. The bungalow has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My dad is disabled and it was perfect for him. No steps and an excellent walk in shower. Enjoyed it so much we have booked again for next year.

Perfect trouble free holiday

This is the forth time we have been to Lanzarote but never stayed in these bungalows before, as expected we were not sure what to expect as we had booked for three weeks.What a surprise we got when we met Alessandra the perfect host.She spent time explaining how to work the washing machine /tv/air con/ heating system nothing was to much trouble and just a phone call away if needed.The bungalow was perfect in every way we had all the utensils that you need on holiday,the bungalow was nice and clean bedding and towels were changed weekly.The outside of the bungalow was a sun trap all day and very nice and peaceful but yet only two minuets from beach and restaurants.We have traveled all over Europe but never met a owner who genuinely wanted you to enjoy the holiday and the stay in her property.The only problem writing this revue is that it may be booked up when we need it again.Well Done Alessandra

1st class experience.

From booking to departure this was a first class experience. I found the bungalow after a little searching on the Internet and made contact with the owner Alessandra. What a lovely lady and host. She was most helpful throughout the whole booking process. She met us at the complex on arrival, went through everything with us, left contact details & it was obvious that nothing was too much trouble. The bungalow was perfect. Canarian style, with a living area and full kitchen built just off separated by a breakfast bar. Air conditioning too which, was most welcome. Beautiful modern bathroom with walk in shower, fully tiled & fully equipped. Twin beds and a lovely ceiling fan, together with built in wardrobes & an all important safe. Large garden and terraced area outside with patio furniture and four sun loungers. The bungalow was spotlessly clean, light and airy. A short, minutes walk through the complex and you are right on the sea front. Turn right and a further two minutes, there are restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and supermarkets. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the end and there are numerous other bars etc to choose from. Matagorda is a safe, friendly and well appointed resort, ideal for families, couples or singles of all ages. As with another reviewer on here, our return flight was not until early evening. Alessandra let us remain in the bungalow for as long as we needed it, enabling us to have a hassle free final day. I can not say enough nice things about both the bungalow and the owner and I would urge you to book a week or two with her.... Just not when I need to though!! A totally 1st class service, in 1st class accommodation from a 1st class lady.

Fantastic!

From start to finish you got the feeling that this Bungalow and location would be Good and it does not disappoint. Perfect Location in Matagorda - quiet and peaceful yet close to all amenities. Shops Restaurants and little Bars. So close to the Beach and taxis and buses near by too. The Bunglaow is Home from Home so well equipped - Fresh Bright and clean.. Nice towels .. nice Crockery and cutlery .. lots of space both in and out with the Pool just yds away... We had the best Holiday and we go to Lanzaorote a lot and we will be back most definitely. Thanks to Allesandra the perfect hostess :)

Relaxing Holiday.

Stayed here for two weeks at the end of March gone by . Lovely spot close to beach and shops. Very well equipped with towel and linen change at the end of the first week. Alessandra is a lovely lady, very helpful and obliging, allowing us to stay way beyond normal departure time as our flight time had been changed. Weather was very changeable with rain and wind. Still love Matagorda though.

Hello! I am Alessandra and I am an Italian lady.
I've been traveling almost all over the world, I've been living in many places, but there is no place like Lanzarote, for living and having holiday. So, felt in love with it since 1985, in 1997 I finally decided, with my ex partner, to move to here; and I am still happy and still love it! Not just because the sun shines almost all the time, here, but especially for its rhythm of life. I think that living in a sunny place helps you smiling all the time; and if you smile, you will help the other people smiling too.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Knowing Lanzarote since 1982, I discovered every spectacular or hidden corner. Coming for holiday, Matagorda is the best place to stay: so calm and safe; and so central to reach any place in the island! The resort is rated 3 stars and one of the best; the beach is blue flag. Our group 4 is completely flat and I built an access ramp at the entrance step and a little access gate to the garden, to add more privacy. When I first saw the 2 houses, thought absolutely had to buy 1; because there is no place like Matagorda and not many bungalows so close to the sea and in such a wonderful location, with a palm-groove and great privacy. The bungalows are so luminous and, even simply furnitured, they have personality and are cozy. I was undecided on which one to buy: 1 with bigger garden, 1 beside pool and sea... “Take both" I thought; and I still think that both have a special enchantment. You will enjoy them!

You will appreciate being in one of the few first row properties on the island, with beautiful beaches. Will enjoy sunshine all day long, being in a very quiet and safe resort and in a cozy bungalow; on an area from which you can easily reach everyplace of the island; and this, at a very reasonable price for such a privileged situation! The bungalows are easily and shortly reached from the airport. To go to the beach you don’t have to cross a busy street and there are no cars disturbing! Our group 4 is on a completely flat area and are only on ground floor, with no step on.
