Very good!

Stayed at the villa in December 2017. Villa is in good location and very spacious. Jackie has been very helpfull and responded to all queries very quickly. Overall, really enjoyed our stay at this villa.

Excellent stay

An amazing home away. The house is located just a few blocks away from the main streets. Just around the corner are supermarkets, bars and even a Belgian beer café (worth a visit, say hi to Nico) The house has three terraces so you can enjoy the sun all day. Inside you'll find everything you'll need. There is even a barbecue! The beds, rooms and bathrooms were clean and tidy on arrival, and the overall impression was excellent. Jackie is very easy in her comms and I would definitely rent from her again.

Much more than I could dream about

Great Holiday & Great House

The positives: We have just returned from two weeks in this house and we were very impressed indeed. As the photos show, this house is ideal for a family or moderately sized group with all necessary appliances new, or nearly so, and working. This house and low density complex is very clean and very child friendly. The complex does not feel at all like a typical holiday resort but more like a village atmosphere where within this complex it has a mixture of both holiday makers and locals which I think adds to the location. The Owners were very responsive to every question and ready to assist prior to booking, they had no problem taking the time to answer phone calls. Even on arrival they walked us through the house and indicated how to use all facilities. All expectations from the listing description were fulfilled and no sad surprises, no concerns and the house exceeded expectations. Each of the large bedrooms included fan unit with controller. The beds were very comfortable, all plumbing and electrical worked well and good lighting throughout. Plenty of kitchenware to cook and child friendly, large kitchen, refrigerator, and oven. With 4 children myself there was ample space within the house and terraces for eating as a group together around large dinner table, sofas and chairs, more than enough pillows and towels. All bedding, natural light, television, toys for the kids, books, magazines and entertainment were more than adequate. If you want to eat out there are numerous local restaurants nearby which can be reached by walking or taking a local taxi with costs about €3.00 to the old town. The negatives: To give an honest review there were very little negatives but if I wanted to be very picky areas that I feel could be improved would be an improved English TV Channels and less complicated TV, there was no Wi-Fi, locks for the double doors to the upper terraces, cooker that 1 year old couldn’t turn on One of the best "selling points" for this property was the price. We have stayed in inferior properties which were considerably more expensive. You will not be disappointed by this one. Truly top class and highly recommended.

Wonderful place to stay

Having postponed twice it was finally great to get to el sultan and we were not disappointed. The villa is as described, very spacious, clean and couldn't be closer to the pool. The terraces are fantastic with amazing views from the roof terrace. The kitchen has everything you need, the beds were very comfy and the shower in the ground floor bathroom is excellent. WiFi worked brilliantly. The complex is a nice size and very quiet with lots of friendly people around. A 15 min walk to the centre of Corralejo which is a very nice chilled, but bustling place. Taxis back were always on hand and we never paid more than €4. We must also say that the owner was excellent with us when we needed to postpone twice due to covid travel restrictions, with regular comms via the vrbo app and we also spoke over the phone. A superb experience all round and we hope to go back one day. Would recommend to anyone.

Heerlijke vakantiewoning

Het is een mooie vakantiewoning, voorzien van alles wat je nodig hebt. In het appartementencomplex is deze woning relatief gunstig gelegen t.o.v. de zwembaden. El Sultan is een mooi vormgegeven complex in het thema van1000-en-1-nacht. Andere bewoners zijn voornamelijk Brits en waren leuke mensen. Alleen onze Spaanstalige buren waren wat luidruchtig als ze middenin de nacht thuiskwamen. Het contact met Jackie was heel prettig en zij heeft ons goed begeleid. De voorzieningen zijn op korte afstand van de vakantiewoning gelegen. Wij kunnen het verblijf zeker aanbevelen!

Family Holiday

We've had a great time over our 2 week holiday. The villa was perfect for our family. The location was quiet, but yet only a short walk away and you are right in the middle of everything, shopping, restaurants, bars and beaches. We will definitely be returning. The villa is positioned perfectly for families as it is right next to the pool. Jackie the owner was extremely helpful with everything. Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing time away in the sun.

Family holiday Easter 2019

From booking the holiday to returning home the process was really straight forward and Jackie kept in constant contact with me. No question was left unanswered! When we arrived at the villa, we realised that it was just as was described on HomeAway- close to amenities and a short 15 mins walk into Corralejo itself. The villa was well stocked with everything you could need making it a home from home! The only thing I would say is that there were quite a few cockroaches around at night so we kept all our food in the fridge but I suppose that is to be expected in a warm country. During our stay, Ray was on hand if we needed anything from recommendations about where to eat or where to visit. As this is a residential complex, it is very quiet during the day and at night unlike staying in a hotel or a villa on a holiday complex. Overall, we had a lovely family holiday, relaxing and comfortable. Thanks Jackie

Well appointed and great location

Casa Twiss is situated in a small well kept private complex close to the town centre. Easy walking distance to all amenities. The pool area is well maintained and regularly cleaned. The owner is very easy to deal with. The balcony furniture could do with a refresh, which I understand is being arranged. Overall , our family of four ( children 8 & 6) thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent - all the comforts of home

Stayed at this property in early January for 12 nights. Overall it is an excellent property which is very well maintained. The tv package has all the channels of home which is great to keep kids occupied when the sun is too hot and a full range of movies for the family on the nights that you choose to stay in. The property is kitted out with everything you could think of from home and the cooking and cleaning facilities are top drawer. Another big plus is the availability of fibre high speed wifi which is very unusual for Spain and takes all the pain away from doing some work while abroad or contacting loved ones around the world. All of the above leaves you with a feeling of being at home with January sun outside within a few hours of arrival which ticks all the boxes for me. Just to be fair in my review I note that the wifi is not very strong upstairs due to the thick walls and maybe a booster box might help but the signal is brilliant downstairs for all such activity. Second thing of note is that the lovely pools are not usable in the month of January due to the temperature but that applies to all pools on the island but just though I would warn you. That said there was one family of kids that managed to stay in for a wee while but it is very cold. One other thing of note is that the main body of the town is at least 15 minute walk away but the terrain is flat and we used to walk in each evening and take a taxi home (taxi's are very reasonable - centre of town for three people was costing us €3.60 !!) but there is a smaller centre with ample shops and cafe's within two minutes of the property So to summarise, I don't leave reviews but this property is excellently kitted out to make a family feel totally at home. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others with the exception of the early weeks of January which I would not recommend (because we are likely to re-book so hands off !!!!!) - everybody has different needs but genuinely we really enjoyed it

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings

My 3 teenage kids and me had a great time in corralejo. The house is very well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated. The garden and pool area are beautiful. The owners are very friendly end easy to contact. Nearby there are shopping centers and a really good pizza take away. Best of all was the very fast WLAN. Would definetly recommend.

Great location

A home from home with everything you would want or need. Spacious enough for our family of 6 covering 3 generations and right next to the pool. Within walking distance of all amenities. They layout of the property was good and having a washing machine and clothes line was ideal as we travel light. The complex was quiet in the evening so ideal for relaxing with a glass of wine and a book or sitting having a conversation. Would definitely book again.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

I don't leave this review lightly and have been waiting for a resolution, that is clearly not coming, before posting. We stayed at this house in August 2018 for 2 weeks. Initially the owners were helpful and the house appeared to be beautiful on our arrival. However, on our first day of the holiday, building work began on the property making the outside areas unusable and unsafe. I reported this to the owner who had been aware of the building work (but hadn't informed us) but was apologetic and said it would be sorted. In short, it wasn't. Throughout our entire 14 day stay there were builders constantly working on the property, waking our family up at 8.30am every day, using the terraces as a walkthrough to the other villas and a place to store tools. They removed fences and external safety gates meaning there was a 3 storey fall from the roof terrace - not ideal with 3 young children! Builders were also looking in to both ours and our children's bedrooms through the terraces which made it necessary to keep the shutters down at all times - again not ideal. I kept the owners up to date and they advised not to use the propertys outside areas at all.....which continued for our entire stay. On our return, I made it clear to the owner that I wasn't happy and whilst she had appeared helpful on the surface, once there was a complaint in place she was extremely rude and then ignored me. I was informed by the owner that she would not give us any form of compensation but she would give us a credit note towards a 'free' week.....however, she later withdrew this offer (conveniently after she knew about our complaint) saying we had damaged the property. This was completely untrue but obviously a way for the owners to not only get out of offering compensation but also a way of withholding some of our security deposit! This was a final kick in the teeth. I made an official complaint through HomeAway and whilst they have this on record, they cannot enforce compensation, just recommend it - which the owners declined. We are now pursuing legal action against the owners. I have images of all of the building work and copies of rude messages sent by the owner which are available to view online if you search for them..... In conclusion, the El Sultan complex is lovely, the pool area is great for kids but there are MANY other holiday lets on this complex and other complexes - if you want a hassle free holiday, book one of those instead!

Great accommodation in quiet yet convenient location

Booked via Owners Direct site for 1st time and impressed how easy it was. Jackie was instantly responsive to messages and when had issue with missing bedding 1st night resolved this within 20 mins. It is about 30 mins from airport and ample parking on Street at back of property. Secure as entry via secure locked gate. Entrance to all pools via gates, secure if you have small children. Pool large and never crowded and is outside property giving easy access to both during day. Property is large with sitting area for 6, large dinning table for 6 and 3 generous bedrooms with huge wardrobes in each. 2 bathrooms one on ground floor along with twin room and one on second floor with double and twin rooms. Lots of terrace space, small one to front on the ground, one to rear on ground, large one from double room on 1st flooor and full roof terrace, all with seating. Ideal for sunbathing, sitting out in warm evenings or simply enjoying view. The apartment is well equipped with full kitchen, large screen TV, internet, ApplebTV, plug in fans, washing machine. Jackie also has lots of welcoming touches such as sunbeds to use at the pool or on the terraces, body boards, buckets and spades, children's toys, DVD and books. The property is 5 minute walk to a small selection of bars and cafes / restaurants and about 20 mins to Corralejo centre. The Hiperdino / Mercadona Supermarkets are about 10 minute drive. The water park is a 10 minute walk. Corralejo is medium sized resort with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops. The dunes a fabulous golden sand beach for bodyboarding / surfing , etc is a 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk and well worth a visit. Overall a large, modern, spacious property, that is well equipped and located for a relaxing holiday by the pool or the beach but close enough to the town to enjoy the shops, restaurants or bars . We would certainly return

Fabulous!!

Having just returned from this fantastic holiday home. I can honestly say it's a fabulous place to stay. Great location and maintained by the owners to a high standard. Close to everything in a lovely gated community. You really do not want for anything and Jackie helps you through step by step to private renting. We absolutely loved staying here 10/10 !

Lovely spacious property on a lovely complex

We stayed at Casa Twiss for the past 2 weeks it was a beautiful spacious property. It was very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. There was plenty of space outside for relaxing. The pool area was beautiful and cleaned daily. There was always plenty of room around the pool. Jackie the owner was most helpful before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a family holiday

Perfect Family Christmas Break!

We booked to stay at Casa Twiss for a week over the Christmas period and found Jackie (owner) to be incredibly helpful beforehand & throughout our stay. Considering it was Christmas we never had any trouble contacting her and couldn't have asked for more. Casa Twiss is a lovely villa, perfect for families. We travelled with 2 children under 5 and found the villa to be perfectly secure and safe. It has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The area is beautifully clean and the pools were lovely, although as expected a little chilly in December! A few minutes from the villa is a great children's playpark and multipurpose outdoor area. There are a few shops and restaurants within walking distance or the main resort centre & beach a short cab ride away. Couldn't fault the location of the villa and we would definitely return here! Highly recommended.

Just perfect. Exactly as in the photo

We were a little disorientated on arrival and it took us a while to find the villa. However once we did find it we were all very happy with it. Within a day we were finding our way around easily. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. The complex was also very clean and extremely well maintained. The owners were in contact with me on a few occasions before departure to answer any queries which was very comforting. Next time I would however take a spare large sheet to put over the settee . It is a leather settee and we didn't want to mark it and it stuck to the back of my legs. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely house. XX

Enjoyable holiday, nice villa and town.

We spent a month at this villa in February and had a wonderful time. The villa was a comfortable place as our temporary home from home and had everything we required. The weather was kind to us and we enjoyed the town of Corralejo as well as some of the surrounding area.

Brilliant place to stay

We had 11 nights at this property. Although far too big for 2 of us it was nice to have space. Everything is perfect . Good location. Beautiful sun terraces where we spent most of our afternoons. Ate in & kitchen was well equipped . Nice to have English tv & films for the dark evenings . Would definitely visit again.

Great house on tidy complex near to everything

Lovely house with lots of outside space. Complex near small selection on shops but also walking distances to more shops and restaurants you could possibly want. Beaches too are fabulous and many. Jackie the owner also really helpful and available. We had a great time here.

I feel in love with Corralejo the first time I visited and El Sultan is a fabulous complex well maintained and kept to a high standard. The property, surrounding area on the complex and pools are well maintained by our management company who take pride it is condition as they live on the complex too. It is a home from home with all mod cons.... well decorated with fabulous red leather L shaped couch, full kitchen and full set of garden furniture so you eat indoors or outdoors whatever you choose. All beds have been upgraded to Hotel Standard mattresses to ensure you have a comfort stay.

It is pool facing and it is not overlooked so you can sit in your front terrace in both the ground floor and 1st floor and enjoy beautiful views of the pool and greenery.
Our roof terrace also has fabulous views of both the pools and Lobos Island.
