Venez séjourner dans notre belle maison de campagne dans le spectaculaire sud de la Sierra. Nous sommes seulement 17 miles magnifiques de l'entrée dans le parc national de Yosemite. Passez la journée randonnée dans les sentiers de Yosemite puis revenir à la maison et profiter d'une baignade rafraîchissante dans la grande, privée piscine creusée. Détendez-vous dans nos hamacs confortables ou des fers à cheval de jeu et de badminton. Aime lire? Détendez-vous dans l'un de nos chaises longues en plein air, se détendre, lire et profiter de l'air doux de montagne odeur. Nous avons une grille en acier inoxydable pour BBQ à la joie de votre cœur. Après le dîner, faire tremper dans notre isolée thérapeutique thermale minérale revivre maux, sentier muscles fatigués. Vous êtes seulement 7 minutes du village de montagne de Oakhurst où vous pourrez dîner dans l'un de nos nombreux restaurants, prendre dans un film ou peut-être une pièce au Théâtre de la chaîne d'or. A 30 minutes en voiture jusqu'à historique Hwy 49 vous emmène à Mariposa, une authentique ville ruée vers l'or avec le plus ancien palais de justice de travailler en continu en Californie, et de visiter l'un des meilleurs musées de la région. Bass Lake est à seulement 10 minutes de notre maison de campagne si vous voulez passer la journée de pêche et le canotage. Notre région a beaucoup de belles promenades à prendre, des sentiers de randonnée et activités. Venez visiter et vous aurez envie de revenir encore et encore et encore.

Dogs had a blast!

Beautiful property. Perfect for our two dogs and two little ones. Plenty of space for us all to spread out. The house was clean and the owners were very nice and responsive. Highly recommended. Hope to return soon.

Great Getway Spot

We loved staying here. Chris and her husband were so amazing! The house and property were beautiful. Our pups had a blast. We also loved how it was so wheelchair accessible. We would definitely like to come back.

Furamily getaway

We love this property! This is our second time visiting and it is super dog friendly and has all the amenities. There is excellent communication with our host throughout the process. We stayed in and enjoyed as much of the house and hot tub as we could in the short time we had. The pups had a fantastic time sniffing the yard during our getaway and we would love to try and make this an annual trip. Thank you so much, Chris for opening up your home for us.

Week of July 4th 2024 vacation

We stayed here from July 1 - 5 2024 and LOVED the place! It's close to Yosemite and Bass Lake which we enjoyed. This was not our first time at Bass Lake but definitely the best! Loved the pool and hot tub and the place was bigger than expected with all the amenities you could ask for! My dog enjoyed the huge yard as well. We are already planning our next visit next year and have recommended the place to friends and family. Krystine S

Oakhurst weekend

We came to visit family and the property was perfect! A large house with everything that we needed. A beautiful yard that was perfect for our pets. Loved the little extra things provided that made our stay exceptional.

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our getaway to the mountains with family and our pups! The pups had the best time and the yard and property were absolutely amazing and built with dogs in mind. We were so close to Yosemite and just a 10 minute drive to the shopping centers. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend at the home and would love to return and also squeeze in a day trip to Yosemite next time.

Fantastic home

Always have a great time here. We has snow this trip and watched from the hot tub. The grandkids (3 and 7) loved playing in the snow in the large fenced front yard. The fire in the fireplace made it cozy and warm after snow play. Always clean and the snack bowl is a bonus. Hosts are awesome. This is our 4th time at this property and can't wait to go back in summer to enjoy the pool

Wheelchair perfect and dog perfect!

This was the first time we stayed in a place that was truly wheelchair / paraplegic easy. The access was easy from both the kitchen door and the front door. The main bathroom had plenty of room for the chair by the toilet to turn and maneuver as well as a grab rail. The "half" bathroom actually has a step-in bath. The kitchen is very wide, enabling wheelchair access alongside other people already in there. The pictures don't do the space justice - the house is large and spacious, Also, the garden is large and fenced with mesh as well as rails, so perfect for dogs to run unleashed. We have a BMC and a Golden that just loved being able to romp around and explore. The front door entryway is tiled so a great place to stop and wipe off the dogs' feet. For us, this was the perfect balance of space for both humans and dogs and we'll be coming here again for sure!

What a wonderful vacation getaway. Beautiful home in a beautiful area. Close to town (10 min) Kitchen has everything you would need and then some. Master bedroom had the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Hot tub was the perfect compliment after a long hike in Yosemite. Would highly recommend!

Great Place!

I think this is our 7th year staying here. I love the layout of the home and grounds, it gives everyone the space and togetherness wanted. The home is clean, kitchen well equipped, and the grounds are fenced making it safe for the dogs to run and exercise their noses. The pool is a great feature. Chris is responsive to any questions and so knowledgeable about the area. Thank you Chris & Jim for this wonderful space. I hope we can see you next year.

Huge home with a beautiful pool

We absolutely loved this house, it was very spacious and comfortable especially with my two handicap parents. The house was beautiful and the pool was perfect, we spent everyday, all day, swimming. When we arrived the owners were very welcoming and kind and made us feel we could contact them with any issues or needs. We also used the bread maker and made bread which we haven’t done in years so that was very enjoyable! We will definitely stay here again!

Best Nature Getaway

Beautiful home and great property for a family getaway! What a charming place that is conveniently located 10 minutes from Bass Lake and 30 minutes from Yosemite National Park! Very relaxing and quiet location, that is perfect to recharge and relax. Loved the pool and hot tub. Loved fenced large front yard where our dog could run around. Owners are very nice and generous with the snacks and a nice bottle of wine. Love this place! Will definitely return for another stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Relaxing

The property, pool and hot tub are great. Beds are comfy and kitchen is fully stocked. It is so peaceful and relaxing, but the teenagers don't get bored. They were always in the pool or hot tub. The little ones (3 and 6) played on the patio and in the yard. The hosts are great and checking in is super easy. Second time here and can't wait to go back again. Love this place!

Relaxing get away.

Chris, We’d like to thank you for opening your home to us while we stayed in Oakhurst. You were so gracious with us even though we had to interrupt your life to unlock the door twice. Once was not enough but we locked ourselves out twice. (A note on the door warning the door should be manually unlocked from the inside might save you from this.) Now, with that embarrassment out of the way let’s move on. The Welcoming Bowl of snacks and wine were a pleasant surprise. The house was spotless, it was such a pleasant feeling to walk in after a long drive and not feel like we needed to clean everything before touching. The kitchen was stocked with more small appliances than you could want. The beds were furnished with extra soft sheets. All the rooms were nicely decorated. My husband found the recliner very comfortable. I have to say for myself the jacuzzi was sooo relaxing, and being able to view the deer in the backyard were highlights of my stay. Our dog was in 7th heaven with such a large front fenced yard to run around in. Thank you again Chris for your hospitality. We’re toying with the idea of returning next year with friends. Recovering the important things...

The home is awesome - the living spaces are huge, giving my family lot's of room to meet for breakfast and dinner - and space to handle personal calls and texts. Chris is an amazing host - she has great "can do with style"...the neighborhood is quiet, wildlife everywhere when you take time to look Hot tub and pool were great - hard to stop writing...lot's of room to clear your head of the city hub-bub...and ask yourself - why...

Perfect home away from home

Absolutely beautiful property - - the pictures do not do this home justice! We loved how clean the house was, kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked, high-end appliances made cooking so enjoyable, 5 acres of land was breathtaking, pool and hot tub was a plus! Chris, our host was extremely kind and helpful from start to end - - thank you so much for opening your home to us! We fell in love with this place and can't wait to go back!

A Beautiful Home!

Nothing but positives regarding this lovely property. From the hot tub to the in person welcome by the property owners, everything about this property was superb. Quite frankly, it was as if we were in our own home! Everything anyone should need, plus lots of extras. Extremely well maintained and spotless, my family is unanimous in recommending this property!

Peacefully and relaxing

The hosts welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable and at home. The pool and hot tub were awesome. We saw lots of deer, racoon, wild turkeys and woodpeckers too. The yard was great for letting the little ones run and play. The house was spacious and beds were comfy. The goodie bowl and the smores maker was a special treet that everyone loved. Loved this place and will definitely be back soon.

We love oakhurst!

We never wanted to leave. When I saw the listing I was on the fence because I was trying to find something more “cabin feel” but this home was incredible. We wish we could have stayed for so much longer. The home owners were easy to communicate with and respectful of space. The home was prepared for anything and everything a family could want to do. We will definitely be booking again!

Retired RN. Grew up in Los Angeles area and always wanted to live in the mountains. I'm an outdoor loving girl. Anytime I can be out hiking, exploring or swimming, I'm in heaven.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property was beautiful and had the perfect location. Close enough to town but still in the forest. We get snow but not too much. Oakhurst is a family friendly town and welcomes travelers with open arms. Beautiful, easy drive to Yosemite or explore historic Hwy 49 with it's rich mining history.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Location, location, location! In the forest, but only 45 minutes from a city. We can still do a beach trip in one day as we are only 3.5 hours from Monterey Bay. We are right outside the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park, who can ask for more than that.
