Convenient and Comfortable

Really spacious rental that was comfortable for our family vacation. This place is really convenient for beach activities, restaurants, and fun stuff. The pool area is also really nice. The complex is well manicured and really pleasant and safe to walk around day or night.

Our excellent get away

This was our first experience with a long term VRBO. The pictures matched the place perfectly. As previously mentioned the owner was excellent and made sure everything was perfect. We ate on the patio every day to enjoy the beautiful view and watch for whales. The interior was spotless and comfortable. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day. We hope to return in the future

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The house was nice although one of the showers wasn't draining very well while we were there. The pool was super nice and overall the location was fantastic.

Quiet and a great location!

A perfect location, just outside of the busy area but yet with coffee, food, and groceries just around the corner. The condo was a perfect fit for our family - quiet and well furnished!

Daughter’s Wedding

Great home for multiple couples

Home had mostly what we needed. Great view of the ocean and sunsets each night. Had a couple of issues but Rita was quick to help out. Loved the pool area. Was very central to doing most everything on the island.

Three bedrooms in Kona

This property was perfect for our stay in Kona. The fully equipped three bedrooms and three bathrooms gave us plenty of space. We were a little disappointed when they closed the pool for renovations. They never alerted the property owner that this was going to happen. We were there for nine days and three days without the pool. Luckily, there were plenty of beautiful beaches to take its place

Location is excellent. The house is well supplied with everything that you will need including things for the beach. Owner stays in touch. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent vacation spot

We had a wonderful time at the condo! It was clean, excellently laid out with everything we could need for our stay. We cooked every night and had everything we could need to make meals. Bedding was comfy. It was nice to have the beach towels for the pool. The location could not be better! We highly recommend this for anyone visiting the Big Island. Thanks Rita!

Quiet condo neighborhood. Beautiful landscaping and pool. 3 bedrooms and everything you need in the kitchen. The garage has all kinds of beach equipment! High communication with the host.

Owner was responsive, bugs were awful

Our first night in the home, there were several things the housekeeper had missed (primarily bathrooms, as there was gray/black gunk in the sink and a visibly dirty toilet and shower), and I noticed many cockroaches running around the kitchen and coming out of the outlet covers. We ended up doing a deep clean on the kitchen, including pulling out the appliances and setting out many roach traps and sprayed insecticides. During the deep clean, we found open food in the cabinets that may have been drawing bugs in. We notified Rita of the infestation and she was very responsive, but not able to get an exterminator during our 2 week stay. There were also many spiders in the upstairs bathroom, likely due to the birds roosting above the master bath toilet area because the vent cover was missing. Rita was responsive about this and said she scheduled someone to come repair the vent cover after we left. Positives of the stay were the grounds (we have stayed in the Na Hale complex before), and Rita always responded to our messages and plans to reimburse us for cleaning supplies and our cleaning fee. I would stay here again if there was a different housekeeper and there wasn’t a bug problem. I’m sure it will be better after a bit of repairs and pest control!

Great Place with lots of extras

This place had it all. Beach toys, snorkeling gear, water shoes, beach towels and beach chairs and umbrellas. 13 minute walk from a really great snorkeling spot, saw a lot of fish. Also really close to stores/shops just up the hill. The pool is very nice. There is also a nice farmers market near Longs drugs got some good local fruits (not sure how often they do it, maybe just weekends)

It’s well stocked with all the beach and snorkeling gear and accessories. Kitchen is also very well stocked. Beds are comfortable, it met our needs and our family really enjoyed the stay.

A great time was had by all

Property was absolutely gorgeous and so spacious. All conveniences of home. Rita’s suggestions of things to do , eating places, luau, etc were the best. Rita was very accommodating and easy to work with. Will definitely recommend her condo and will probably return in the future. So close to most things. Thanks Rita for making our trip the best!

Amazing Host and Property

We had not had a family vacation in some time. We picked Hawaii and the Big Island. I searched around not knowing much and we absolutely scored with this property and host!! What a great condo and amenities!! Rita was fantastic and extremely communicative with me. She was quick to respond and very pleasant to work with. The place itself was very clean and the location was perfect for being on the Kona side of the island. I would definitely recommend and go back if and when we do. Perfect for a large family like ours. Please really consider this place if you’re looking around!!

Very comfortable

Very nice 10 day get away! The place was well supplied with beach chairs, beach towels & boogey boards. Our BIG disappointment was both pool keys were missing from the condo. A card was required to get in & out of pool/exercise area. For our entire stay Rita could not get this resolved! We definitely would have been in the pool every night. The pool/exercise area was a big part of our decision for choosing Rita’s condo. Unfortunately no refund was offered when this advertised feature wasn’t available to us!

We are always adding upgrades as needed. Your vacation memories are important to us. That's why we strive for the best! You can call me any time and if there is a problem I'll take care of it asap. I would not ask you to stay in a place that I would not stay in as I am very particular!. My husband and I stay here whenever we can and enjoy it so much and you will too.
