À propos de cet hébergement

Situé à quelques pas de la baie, où vous pourrez admirer certains des plus beaux couchers de soleil du monde, nous ne sommes qu'à quelques minutes de route de Cape May victorienne et de Wildwoods.

Il y a beaucoup de pêche, de sports nautiques, de plages primées, de bons restaurants et de divertissements en famille, le tout en quelques minutes.

Notre chalet récemment rénové de 450 pieds carrés comprend deux chambres, deux salles de bain complètes, douche extérieure, air climatisé central, cuisine dans la salle à manger et une grande véranda séparée avec télévision, table à manger et canapé-lit. Parfait pour la petite famille.

Vous aimerez les promenades matinales le long de la plage de la baie des chiens, ou si vous préférez, les plages de Wildwood sont gratuites et des étiquettes sont fournies pour la plage de Cape May. Il y a beaucoup de place pour faire un barbecue dans la cour arrière ou pour simplement se détendre et profiter de la brise.

Les autres attractions de la région incluent le Cap victorien, l'observation des baleines et des dauphins, le shopping à Washington St. Mall, plusieurs vignobles et la brasserie Cape May. Sans parler de certaines des meilleures tavernes et restaurants de la côte de Jersey. Ajoutez à cela la célèbre promenade de Wildwood, et vous avez une recette pour vous amuser en famille.

Montez à bord du ferry et passez la journée à visiter la ville historique de Lewes Delaware ou la plage de Rehoboth à proximité. Tout ce que vous aimez le plus sur la côte de Jersey, vous êtes à une distance saisissante de. Tout en étant niché dans un quartier familial calme.

We’ve lost count how many times we’ve stayed at this property! It’s always so nice and clean with a quiet location 10-15 minutes from everything Cape May and close to the bay where we catch beautiful sunsets. The sun room is a big plus for having family game nights. The owners are always responsive and easy to reach on the rare occasion we’ve needed to.

Sunset cottage

We enjoyed our time at Sunset cottage. The home is comfortable and spotless. The beach is beautiful and the sunset are fabulous. Unfortunately, hurricane Debbie effected the weather so we didn’t get as much beach time as we’d like.😞 Thankfully we were able to occupy ourselves shopping and eating out in the nearby communities.😊

Highly recommend!!

We had a great family vacation and first Vrbo rental experience at Sunset Cottage! We were steps away from the beach for the most amazing nightly sunsets or just time sitting or walking on the beach. The cottage was perfect for my family of four. The neighborhood was so quiet. We used the sunroom as a bedroom for my 18 year old, it got really hot during the day as it was very hot and humid during our stay but the room cooled down nicely for him at night with the air conditioning units. We were a short drive to all of the area attractions and close to restaurants and Walmart. Vickie and Bill were easy to get a hold of for any questions and concerns.

Vacay at Cape May

Rhe cottage was small but quaint. The AC was wonderful. A very short walk to the bay which was nice for sunsets, 15 min drive to Cape May beach. The little diner at the end of the road is priced well and the food is dynamite!

Our Second Stay

We enjoyed our second stay at Sunset Cottage. The place is very comfortable and the perfect size for the three of us. The screen house was my hangout at night... so quiet and peaceful. The front deck is a great addition, and another place to relax and have coffee or read. And the location is also perfect... so close to everything, and only a mile from Fleck's Ice Cream. ☺️

Cute place in a great location

A clean, well-maintained house just a few minutes’ walk from a calm, quiet beach! Also no more than a 15 minute drive to most Cape May area attractions, and the property has plenty to do for the times you want to stay in a bit. Highly recommended!

Wonderful cottage by the bay

Our stay was wonderful. The house was close enough to walk down to the bay for the best sunsets. Very close to everything. Our check in went as planned and we were very happy with the house and the sunroom was just perfect if we needed it. I would definitely rent this house again. Maryanne G.

Another Great Stay

The cottage is so close to the beach. It’s nice to be able to walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The cottage is clean and cozy. This is our second year that we stayed at the cottage and it’s because Vicki is so easy to deal with. Thank you again Vicki for a great week at your cottage!

We want to stay longer!

We absolutely love the sunset cottage by the bay! This was our 5th stay here since 2016, and we love it more each time. I always seem to overpack and forget all of the amenities the owners have thought of. It truly is a home away from home. We love that our small elderly dog can come with us to make memories as a full family. He enjoys going to visit the bay. There are so many great restaurants and things to do in the area, we can never seem to fit in everything we want to do into a week. We would love to stay even longer. Thank you Vicki and Bill for opening up your home to us!

3rd stay and we’re ready to return, again!

We just returned from our third weeklong stay at this adorable home in Villas. It’s so meticulously maintained, it almost feels like no one else stays here in between our visits. It was my dad’s first time staying here with us, and he appreciated how quiet the neighborhood is, how comfortable the bed and furnishings are, and how easy the house is to keep clean. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Beautiful Cottage on the Bay

Our stay was great. We were traveling with our toddler and the place is perfect for a small family. We thankfully didn’t have any rainy days, but there is a detached sunroom that we could have used if we had to entertain ourselves inside. The house included everything we needed…I could have left some stuff at home. The area is very nice and quiet. It was a short walk to the bay, which works well with little kids in tow. Swimming is almost as good as the ocean beach at high tide, but becomes a bit too shallow in this area at low tide. No worries, because low tide reveals all the snails and hermit crabs to keep the kids busy.

Great Stay

We have always stayed at the Crest for many years and decided to try something different. I am so glad we did. The cottage was so close to the beach, Immaculate, and the beach wasn’t crowed. Vicki was great to work with. We will be back next year!

Perfect little cottage by the beach

This was the perfect little cottage for our family to spend a week in Villas. It had everything we needed and was so close to the bayside beach!! We personally prefer quaint and quiet, so our preference is staying bayside. We do also like occasional day trips oceanside (for restaurants, shopping, activities, visiting different beaches, etc.), so it was great being only a short car ride away with beach tags available for a our use. The cottage is well appointed and tastefully decorated. The wraparound porch is great for reading a book with your morning coffee. We also loved having an outdoor shower when we came back from the beach. We didn’t use the sunroom much, due to the hot weather, but we did spend a few evenings in there playing board games. It’s kind of fun that it’s a separate space! It was also really convenient to have two full baths, plus access to laundry and a vacuum cleaner. If you have friends or family staying in another one of the many little cottages nearby, like we did, it’s also a safe and easily walkable neighborhood. If you want a little exercise, you can even walk to some of the ice cream shops or mini golf on Bayshore Road.

Great Week at Sunset Cottage!

I really loved this property and the neighborhood. The rooms are small in the main cottage but just what we needed. We do not usually unpack on vacation (we tend to live out of suitcases), but not having space to leave the suitcases out forced us to unpack — which was really a blessing because we felt more at home. The super-smart dresser and under-bed storage was more than enough for our belongings. We loved that it had two bathrooms (with showers!) plus an outdoor shower. The detached bonus room in the backyard was a literal bonus and allowed our two teenagers to each have their own spaces; 1 slept in the 2nd bedroom in the main house and the other slept in the bonus room. We couldn’t use the bonus room during the day (the AC cannot be run in the daytime because it cannot keep up with the summer sunshine), but that really wasn’t an issue because we were out and about most days; at night, it was the perfect place for my almost 18-year old to play video games and sleep. We had several little questions throughout our stay and the owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved the one-block walk to the bay for morning walks and beautiful sunsets. The neighborhood was quiet and also had conveniences (restaurants, wawa, groceries) nearby. We were also grateful for the included Cape May beach tags. I would absolutely rent this property again — loved it!

Picture Perfect!!

We REALLY enjoyed our time here. The cottage was IMMACULATE!! The Bay beach is steps away we saw the most beautiful sunset!! Loved taking our dog with us (after 4pm) Restaurants were all close by and wonderful. Highly recommend Harpoons!! Peter Shields & Sapore were great too!! Beach was close, no parking issues!! Bill & Vikki are responsive and wonderful!!

Great spot for small family

House was clean and comfortable! Newly updated. Steps from the bay, can't beat the sunsets. Near all the amenities but peaceful at night. We had a great time. The small sunroom does get hot during the day but just have to work around that and use at night.
