Cet appartement Penthouse est magnifiquement conçu, contemporain et exceptionnellement spacieux (150 mètres carrés). Il dispose de deux très grandes chambres, de deux salles de bains, d'un très grand salon, d'une cuisine moderne entièrement équipée et d'une salle à manger séparée. Les couchages sont: lit king size dans la chambre principale, deux lits simples dans la deuxième chambre et un grand canapé-lit dans le salon qui peut accueillir deux personnes. L'appartement a une utilisation partagée d'un grand et beau jardin arrière qui a une table de ping-pong, des balançoires, un toboggan, un cadre d'escalade.

Penthouse au top

L’appartement est top. A 10 min à pied de 2 stations, 20 min pour aller au centre de Londres. Très propre. Toutes les commodites sont accessibles à pied. Lits confortables. Attention cependant si grandes chaleurs car pas de climatisation! Check in et out très simple. Merci Allan et lana

Penthouse paradise!

Wow ! We didn’t want to leave ! Super secure and spacious with parking, breakfast on the rooftop was brilliant.Our children enjoyed the beautiful garden , (I think the stairs tired them out ) we all had a brilliant sleep and we had everything we needed within walking distance, cafes, shops , supermarkets etc , would definitely recommend staying ,worth every penny! The only criticism I would have would be the very large spider webs (which didn’t take long to sort out) we had to clean the bath before use but otherwise it was exceptional !

Amazing apartment with lots of space.

Lovely apartment with an amazing shared garden. Beds were really comfortable and the roof terrace was a bonus. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful and dealt with small problem immediately.

Ideal London stay

Very charming penthouse apartment in a unique and lovely property. Clean and spacious, with a private outdoor deck and shared garden. A nice retreat away from the city but still accessible.

We enjoyed the stay in the penthouse. Nice view from the roof. 10-15min to the rail station worked well. Wounderfull garden behinde the house.

Tolle Ferienwohnung in sehr guter Lage

Die Wohnung war ordentlich. Gleichwohl wären diverse kleinere Erneuerungen, z. B. die Küchenausstattung und Geschirr nötig. Die Lage ist sicher und ordentlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Amazing family retreat close to London

Our family of 6 stayed at the cottage for four nights. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. The hosts were super friendly, the cottage was amazing and the garden was spectacular. The train and shopping amenities were all within walking distance. We highly recommend this property!

Great for a family of five

The apartment was great for a family of five. 10-15 minute walk from either Mottingham or Eltham station into London. Nice backyard for kids to play. Easy walk to the highstreet for any shopping needs. The shower in the master was very small, and it is up three flights of stairs so keep that in mind if you have difficulty with stairs. Overall great place.

Beautiful apartment

This property is truly excellent, everything from the huge garden to the rooftop dinning/drinks table. We stayed here with two adults and four children and I have to say it did not disappoint, Alan and Lana were perfect hosts and did everything to ensure we had a excellent stay. The apartment is very modern and clean, really couldn't find any fault at all. The property is situated 8/10 mins walk from either Eltham or Mottingham train stations so it is very easy to get into London centre.

Great penthouse with 2 King beds

This is a great apartment. We had two adult couples and had two king size bedrooms with bathrooms. It was in a great neighborhood and easy to get to & from London center. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants and pubs to choose from. We had a great time meeting some of the locals. It's an easy walk to the bus station. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect for our stay in London

We had 5 adults. Plenty of space for all five of us. Alan was warm and welcoming along with his wife Lana. We had a few additional needs during our stay and they were very accommodating. Loved sleeping up among the rooftops. We felt like Mary Poppins might swing by. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful Apartment in Good Location

This apartment is absolutely stunning, and at 150 square metres, is extremely spacious. The location is good, with buses and trains only a few minutes walk away. The owners are the loveliest people you could ever meet, and were always willing to help us out in any way they could. We really can't recommend this apartment highly enough, and won't hesitate to book it again when we return to London in future.

Convenient, only 10min walk from Eltham station, 20min direct to London bridge. Plenty of space, although a gate at the top of the stairs would be awesome when you have small kids as it was a little stressful. On 3rd floor, lots of stairs so not w/c friendly. Very friendly/helpful/unobtrusive owners. Clean and free wifi which was great! Owners allowed us to leave our car early in the day so we could make the most of our stay in London which was very appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Bellissimo appartamento per visitare Londra

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza a Londra e a Eltham. La cittadina è molto carina e consente di raggiungere Londra in soli 20 minuti. L'appartamento è bellissimo, un attico nel tetto di una villa inglese, molto spazioso e fornito di tutti i confort. Il sig. Alan è molto gentile e disponibile a dare consigli. Abbiamo preferito una sistemazione più tranquilla fuori Londra per risparmiare e per poterci riposare alla sera dopo una bella, ma comunque faticosa, visita a Londra; i nostri 3 ragazzi si sono divertiti molto e hanno trovato l'appartamento fantastico.

Wouldn't It Be Loverly

Julie Andrews first sang, "All I want is a room somewhere, far away from the cold night air, with one enormous chair, oh, wouldn't that be loverly?" and I couldn't stop humming it day after day as we headed back to this luxurious flat. We thoroughly enjoyed every warm room and every enormous chair. My husband, two adult children and I were delighted with this "home base" as we were sightseeing in London, Stratford-upon-Avon, Stonehenge and a day trip to Paris. After the hustle and bustle of the city centre, we were thrilled to head south to a spacious flat, garden and neighborhood where we could hear church bells and birds singing. The bus and train services were easy to understand and use. We easily fell into the routine of getting a copy of the Evening Standard and reading it on our return train each evening. We preferred the trains to and from Mottingham so we could catch either the 126 or 161 bus to ride up from or down the hill to the station. We got Brit Rail passes from Rail Europe.com but a Oyster Card with a daily cap is probably best and can be used on the tube, buses and trains out to this Zone 4 property. The 39 steps up to the penthouse were a challenge for me but all the advantages of the situation made one trip up and one trip down each day worth every step. Alan and Lana were so warm, welcoming and helpful. We are so thankful for all they have done to make this experience possible for us and other travelers.

Great London Apartment

We, a family of 4, with children aged 10 and 12, had a wonderful stay in this apartment in January 2012. The apartment is easily reached by train both from the airport and Central London! Big, nicely furnitured rooms, comfortable beds, two modern bathrooms, and a fantastic roof terrace, from where you could see most of London (our son easily spotted London Eye), made this the perfect holiday! We were able to take trips to central London and relax at the same time! With the grocery store nearby, we could make our own food and eat when we wanted, and what we wanted - perfect when travelling with children! And when we didn't want to cook for ourselves, it was no problems finding restaurants and cafés in the local area. We certainly do recommend this apartment for families, couples and friends travelling together! You must be able to climb some stairs if you want to rent the roof apartment that we stayed in. But if you're normally fit, the stairs are no problem, and the view from the terrace is really worth it!

Excelente estancia en The Coach House

Som una família amb 3 fills de 13, 10 i 8 anys. De vegades és difícil trobar un allotjament tan agradable, per a nosaltres va ser una gran experiència, que ens agradaria repetir. GRÀCIES! Lana per les atencions i simpatia amb que ens vas acollir. Ens vam allotjar una setmana a "The Coach House", és un lloc net, espaiós i molt còmode, extraordinariament tranquil, un veritable plaer despertar cada matí amb el cant dels ocells del jardí. Molt a prop i a peu es troben supermercats i restaurants amb plats per emportar i també típics pub's anglesos. És un lloc recomanat per visitar Londres al vostre aire. L'estació de ferrocarril britànic a 5 minuts caminant, i estació de Charing Cross al mateix centre de Londres, s'hi arriba en 15- 20 minuts amb tren. ---------------------------- ---------------------------- We are a family from Barcelona with 3 children 13, 10 and 8 years. Sometimes it is difficult to find accommodation so nice to us was a great experience, we again soon. We appreciate the attention and sympathy of Lana Gower. THANKS! We stayed a week at the Coach House, is a clean, spacious and very comfortable, extremely quiet, a real pleasure to wake up every morning with the birds in the garden. Nearby are supermarkets and restaurants "take away", also typical English pub. Recommended to visit London. The British Rail station is 5 minutes walking, and Charing Cross Station which takes around 20 minutes by train.

Great Stay

I came with a couple of friends in February. The coach house is wonderful, it's very very big, and it comes with everything that one might need: from linen, to toilet paper, to dishwasher soap. There's even a telescope in the living room! Not to mention the huge tv, and the awsome bathrooms. There's also a pretty big terrace on top, on the roof, from which you can see London! It's about 10-15 minutes from the train station, there are many shops where you can buy groceries, or restaurants, (chinese, indian, pizza, McDonalds, a sort of KFC) which are open until late at night, in case you get hungry, just a few minutes away. The owners of the house are very very nice, unfortunately we had a delay with the trains and tubes, but Olga waited for us for nearly three hours past the time when we were supposed to arrive! Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and we'd love to go back sometime :)

Excellent accomadation

This is the best accomadation I have ever stayed in. I was in the apartment with my family for 4 days in october 2010. I was in the pent house and it was very beautiful and well organised. The apartment has free parking and a very big garden. The rooms are very spacious and we felt very comfortable during our stay. Public transport is very good; the bus stop is just outside the house and the train station is at 5 min walking distance. Lana and Alan (the owners) are very nice and helpful. They welcomed us very nicely. I would definately stay in the same apartment during my next trip to London. I would recomend this appartment to evryone..

Excellent penthouse

We are a family of five with children that are 4, 5 and 7. The penthouse was beautiful and big and had a great garden with a trampoline and swings. The kids loved it! The apartment had everything you needed. We really felt at home. Allan and Lana are very warm and welcoming. Eltham is just around 25 minutes from centre London so it was a short trip and we could visit Lonodn every day. It has been wonderful and we just want to thank you Allan and Lana for an excellent vacation.

Lovely Rental

We enjoyed our stay at the Penthouse! There were six of us and we were quite comfortable. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Lana is very friendly and helpful and was quick to answer any questions. It is within walking distance to a large grocery store where we were able to purchase everything to stock the kitchen. There is a little cafe in town called Jenny's where we enjoyed the food and the service. I would certainly recommend this property!! Two things to consider: there are 45 steps from the ground up to the penthouse and my parents, in their 70's, found it a little tiring after walking all over London but not overly so. The other thing is the angled ceilings as shown in the photo, they surprise you in a few spots. We had a couple bumped heads of the taller people in our group and thought that a different color of paint on the edges might help. :)
