We were looking for a dog friendly house in the middle of nowhere, to get ourselves lost in the Peak District for a week. As soon as we saw the pictures we knew this one was the one. We read the reviews and they were all lovely the only thing they stated was that wifi and phone reception was not brilliant. We expected no signal at all but there was a bit, and wifi worked reasonably well (not like for movie streaming but we could use messaging apps and check email a couple times). It is very easy to get there following the instructions given by the booking confirmation email, the roads are well kept no need for a 4x4 our little skoda made it all right. Buxton is less than 10min away and you can have anything you need from there. There is an enclosed garden for dogs to go outside (although maybe if they are high jumpers may be able to jump over the smaller wall). Once you get there the bungalow is immaculate clean, fully equipped and you have really everything you need to live there for a few days as if it was your own house. The heating works brilliant (we visited in November and actually had to turn it down a few times as it can get too hot). Plenty of walking and hiking from the door. Definitely a holiday to repeat for us.
