Nancy’s Farmhouse au bord de la voie verte

Cette ferme de luxe du 18ème siècle a été complètement modernisée et mise à niveau. La maison se trouve à 10 minutes en voiture de la ville de Waterford et au début de la voie verte, à 30 minutes de la ville de Kilkenny. Cet établissement dispose d'une connexion Wi-Fi, d'un grand jardin avec un coin salon offrant une vue magnifique. Cour ensoleillée privée à l'avant de la propriété dans un cul-de-sac de deux maisons. Cette propriété est située à 10 minutes en voiture du début de la Voie Verte, à 20 minutes de la plage de Tramore, réputée pour son surf 30 minutes du magnifique village côtier de Dunmore East et de son célèbre centre d'aventures un parcours de golf conçu par Jack Nicklaus. Les chutes de Mahon, le mémorial JFK et le phare de Hook sont tous à environ 30 minutes de route.
La propriété avait 3 chambres 2 salles de douche, en bas a une chambre avec un lit king size et une avec deux lits superposés de taille adulte.
Il y a une grande cuisine avec toutes les commodités et une salle à manger pouvant accueillir 8 personnes. A l'étage a un lit queen et salle de bains.
Il y a un pub local qui dispose d'une voiture de courtoisie disponible 7 jours sur 7. Le Thatch Cottage Cafe, idéalement situé à proximité, sert le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner et des collations légères jusqu'à 5h00 du lundi au samedi. Une pizzeria locale est également disponible avec livraison. Un supermarché de proximité est situé à 10 minutes en voiture.
Le centre de pêche Adaire Springs Angling est à 10 minutes en voiture et Dunmore East Sea Angling est à 30 minutes de route.
Un peu plus loin en voiture vous conduira au parc de découverte Castlecomer Discovery Park à 50 minutes et à la ferme Ardmore Open Farm à 55 minutes.
Vous tomberez amoureux de cette maison avec ses belles promenades et sa quiétude pure avec seulement des sons provenant des arbres.

It was a nice quiet house out of town. It was clean comfortable and comfy. The beds were a little soft for my liking but slept great. There was good information for eating options.

Nice property outside Waterford

The home was spacious enough for our group of 3 kids and 3 adults. It had the basics for cooking, enough dinnerware to accommodate our meals at home and hairdryers so we did not have to use converters. The cows across the street and cats in the yard were a highlight, as well as the space to kick a soccer ball around. We really enjoyed the accommodations and the location.

Lovely location and nice house. Roads are a bit intimidating to get there, but it is worth the effort. Kitchen was well stocked, and it was a pleasant surprise to have coffee and tea supplies for our first day.

Nice farm house near Waterford

Beautiful decoration, quite neighborhood, not too far from Waterford and large enough to fit 8 people easily. All amentities and kitchenware are as listed. Host provide eir code to enter into google map for precise location which is a big plus. Two thumbs up to whoever did the cleaning. The place is very clean when we first access the property. Overall, we strongly recommend this place.

Absolutely perfect

We traveled to Ireland for 5 days to celebrate our wedding anniversary and wanted a quiet place to stay vs a loud and busy hotel. We rented a car, navigating highways and roads was very easy. We were able to experience Ireland from Kilkenny Castle to Blarney to Waterford, Midleton, Cork and many villages in between. This location couldn’t be positioned better and more central to everywhere you’ll want to go. There’s a grocery store that delivers to the house or equally as convenient to go out and shop yourself. Our favorite market was Corks English Market and while far from the house it was something we did at the end of that day and you’ll find an incredible assortment of foods. We had breakfast one day in Waterford just before our private tour of Waterford Crystal. Breakfast was at the Granville Hotel and while we weren’t guests we were able to enjoy a 5 star breakfast without the chaos of staying in a hotel environment. Also parking in Waterford was a lot easier than we ever expected due to ample parking in large parking lots. We flew into Dublin and the drive down to the house was great and we found local places to stop at along the way. Again, this location was central to everything so you’re not stuck in a specific town at the end of every day. Clare was very accessible and made the entire experience easy. The house was fully stocked with everything you may need with exception of food and bottled water. All living areas were clean and tidy. All the beds were made upon arrival and towels laid out. The showers had great pressure and plenty of hot water. I could go on and on about how great the VRBO experience was at this location but you simply have to experience it for yourself. Also, if you’d like a local pub experience The Foxes Den in Kilmacow is worth a visit. It’s local hard working Irish people the love to laugh, sing and are so welcoming. Thank you Clare

Lovely stay!

We stayed here in August 2022 with 4 adults and 2 kids. We were so impressed by the care and thought that has gone into making the house cozy and welcoming. Finishes are beautifully updated. The house is outside of town in a quiet and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

Fantastic property - perfect for both kids and adults

This is a superb farmhouse and is a perfect stay for those traveeling with kids. Our little ones loved the toyroom in the barn, seeing the cows in the adjacent fields and the bunk beds. It would also be a great for any couples or adult groups looking for a peaceful break. The house is renovated to a high quality with all the mod cons that you need. The Smart TV's in the kitchen and the living room kept the kids entertained with Netflix when they were inside but most of the time we were all taking advantage of the large outdoor space. The host is very responsive and even came to collect our garbage bags which were filling the outside bin ahead of the next collection which wasn't due for a while (we were there for 10 days so had a lot of trash). The location is great for exploring Tramore, Waterford (our kids loved the little railway), and Kilkenny. We would definately return here again.

Perfect Christmas getaway

Very pleased with our stay the house was beautiful inside and outdoors only 1 small issue as it was a cold December night there wasn't enough coal and firewood the house did get chilly later on in the night but would definitely book again in the summer

Beautiful serene location

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. It’s country location was quiet and serene. The house was perfect just like the pictures. The hostess left us breakfast items that were much appreciated and so thoughtful! We’d definitely come back to this beautiful home.

Lovely stay!

This was hands down our favorite place we stayed during our whole trip. It was perfectly clean, they left a welcome basket with breakfast materials in it, great size and adorable! We loved our stay so much, we wish we had been able to stay more nights. On a backroad, so just be cautious, but worth every penny!

We had a wonderful stay in this well-appointed house. The property was just like the pictures. We had cows in the field next door, and kittens that visited every day. It was the perfect location for our relaxing family vacation!

Tranquil retreat

It's hard to believe you are a 10-15 minute drive from Waterford when you leave this farm. Be prepared for narrow one lane roads, but the fields and home are worth the trip. Our kids enjoyed the courtyard kittens and we enjoyed the natural beauty and serenity of the area. It was a convenient drive into Waterford which was a city we enjoyed tremendously. The house was clean and we enjoyed the makings of an Irish breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen. A great place for families.

Wonderful retreat

The property looks just like the listing. It is immaculate and comfortable and peaceful. The beds are comfy. There is a shed with toys and a large garden area. It’s perfectly quiet. We had a lovely time as a family there. The owner Clare was responsive to our needs and took care of issues quickly. The property even has special touches like a dishwasher, a vanity smart mirror etc. We were all sad to leave!

This was a very nice house, and very quiet. There was lots of room for our group of 5. I had not received the information on how to access the house prior to my booking day so arrived at the farm and could not get in. Eventually got the owner on the phone and although the reception was poor we managed to get the information and got the key. Otherwise a great place.
