Le Zelma's Cottage est un «bungalow» des Blue Mountains charmant et intime, offrant l'évasion idéale pour les vacances, les escapades d'un week-end ou les week-ends, parfaitement adapté pour un ou deux couples ou petites familles.

Le chalet est situé au cœur du centre historique de Leura. À seulement quelques minutes en voiture de Leura Village avec son paysage urbain classé au National Trust bordé de cerisiers en fleurs, de restaurants gastronomiques, de cafés, d'épiceries fines gastronomiques et de boutiques de mode et d'articles ménagers.

Le chalet est situé dans un demi-acre de beaux jardins conçus par le jardinier paysagiste de renommée mondiale "Sorensen", réputé pour certains des plus beaux jardins de Leura.

Il y a un pont avant spacieux pour la vie en plein air avec vue sur le magnifique jardin, ainsi qu'un vaste jardin arrière pour le divertissement et la détente.

Le chalet

Au début de 2017, le chalet a été rénové avec amour avec de superbes planchers en bois poli, une toute nouvelle cuisine entièrement équipée, une salle de bains rénovée et un mobilier élégant dans chaque chambre.
Un salon spacieux, meublé avec des canapés classiques en peluche, des coussins et une table basse se jette dans une salle à manger avec une longue table à manger et un buffet de style rustique. La toute nouvelle cuisine est entièrement équipée avec tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner de somptueux déjeuners et dîners, y compris de nombreux extras tels qu'une machine à café à dosettes Aldi.

Chacune des deux chambres queen sont joliment décorées, avec des draps et des couettes d'hôtel. La troisième chambre spacieuse contient quatre lits superposés et un coin salon.

La salle de bain centrale a été entièrement rénovée avec une baignoire et une douche, des serviettes blanches de qualité moelleuse et un ensemble de commodités. Un WC séparé est adjacent à la salle de bain.
Le chauffage au gaz partout garantit que le chalet est toujours chaleureux et accueillant en hiver, avec des moustiquaires et des ventilateurs pour les mois les plus chauds.

Le chalet propose une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite pour tous les clients, ainsi qu'une grande télévision FHD dans le salon, ainsi qu'un combo TV / DVD supplémentaire dans la chambre principale. Toutes les chaînes de télévision commerciales sont disponibles, ainsi qu'une large sélection de films DVD dans le salon avec Chromecast afin que vous puissiez diffuser et visualiser vos propres chaînes Netflix / Stan et YouTube.

Little Getaway

The cottage was perfect for a short stay in the mountains. Close to every major thing yet tucked away in a quiet area. Lovely gardens and perfectly laid out house. Everything you could want.

Great Family Accommodation

Was a home away from home! Exactly as described with an excellent kids room (two sets of bunks) and space within the room for them to play/be noisy etc. Very well equipped kitchen with sharp knives and everything that you could possibly need - very refreshing! Easy access in a quite location. Wish we had longer to stay/explore!

Leura sojourn

A home away from home- we loved our stay. Welcome package was great. We enjoyed the house and garden and were blessed with mostly fine weather. We had family picnics in the gardens enough room to play games. Dozens of birds visited us. The township is great- especially the Nook and the woodworkers shop. Parking is now exorbitant- $3 for 15 minutes!! The locals helped us find free parking for hiking. Autumn’s colours were stunning. Thank you Susan. Ursula and Eddy.

Everything advertised was present except minor hiccups of one heater not working, another power board shorting out, lack of hanging space if more than 2 people present, TV in the bedroom was not working and not connected, towels were very thin and old -

Make sure you read the fine print as you’re not renting the whole house for the advertised price. Extra adults are charged rather excessively. We also had terrible communication on check in and almost couldn’t get into the house. Other than that the house was clean and did the job.

Location, Location, Location

We booked this cottage based on the description that it was '5 minutes walk' into Leura village. It is not. It is a hard 20 minutes uphill walk, not possble at all for a family with pushchair and very young children, so if we wanted to go into town for a meal or visit we all had to pack into cars and then try and park. It was really disappointinmg.The edge might have been taken off if there had been any welcoming touches. Just some milk in the fridge, a heater left on to take the edge of the really cold house. There were no friendly touches, not even washing up liquid or a dishwasher tablet...... would you really be expected to take or buy those items for a weekend away? House is fine and once you get it warm it works fine for a family but I also don't understand the pricing structure where it shows for up to 8 but then you find the price quoted is for two adults and you pay more for extra? However the two stars is mostly for the totally misleading description of the location. We would not have booked if we had know we could not walk into the village with our kids.

Nice cottage, lovely Leura

We had a really 3D/2N stay at Leura meeting friends and did some leisure hikes due to the weather. Love the fresh air in Leura, somehow it's just so different. The cottage is very cozy, all rooms and living hall equipped with heaters keep us warm and chill. The location is very near to the town and everything else. The price is very reasonable compared to the others that we researched. Recommend this place!

Fantasic Stay at Zelma's Cottage

I can not say enough good things about my stay at Zelma's Cottage. Spotlessly clean, very cozy, excellent communication, fantastic location, massive garden, everything you would need from coffee, tea, heating, cooling or a washing machine. Even after our stay, I realised that I had left my wallet behind. I live a long distance from the Blue Mountains, but getting it back to me was no issue what so ever. I can not recommend Zelma's Cottage enough to anyone thinking of staying in The Blue Mountains.

A great place to relax and unwind.

Zelma's cottage is a very comfortable and well equipped place for a couple or a family. It is in a quiet leafy street if you just want to relax and a short drive from Leura or Katoomba for more activities. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend there.

Peaceful and relaxing!!

This is the first time we have stayed at this property. The property is WELL looked after, clean and fantastically presented!! Our stay here was an absolute delight. Located in a very quiet area in Leura, with little to no ambient noise providing a great place to unwind and relax. The house looks like it was recently renovated with all the modern conveniences (WIFI, TV, Kitchen etc) and the layout was really practical for our needs. The stay is 5 stars all the way!!!!, looking forward to rebooking the next time we are in that area.

Wonderful family weekend away

The perfect spot for our family to stay during our weekend away. As we ventured to local towns and hikes exploring the region, this was the perfect central base for us, and a wonderful home to return to at the end of our days. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time away...the kitchen amenities plentiful and comfortable bedding. We had one unexpected cold day, do the heaters we also appreciated. And a huge thank you to the property manager for her assistance and availability in organising our property rental. Will definitely be back!

Splendid weekend get away in Leura

Loved the weekend. What a great escape. Really enjoyed the walk to Leura and all the cafes. Especially the Pizza and cocktails bar. Very interesting antique and art galleries. Cottage was everything and more that the pictures showed when we booked. Spacious, comfortable, great amenities and setup. Very homely. So peaceful and quite and well appointed. Just perfect.

Amazing, clean and tidy.

Really enjoyed our time here in the cottage. Everything what your need, very clean tidy and comfortable. 5 minuets drive from shops. Would highly recommend staying here so peaceful and so pretty.

Wow! Great Cottage. Comfortable, Clean & Peaceful!

What a wonderful stay at Zelma’s Cottage. Loved Leura and the home is in a fabulous location, so close to Leura village. Garden is huge and beautiful. Really enjoyed the shopping, wide choice of restaurants, cafes and the Woolies supermarket right in the mall was very convenient for when we cooked, however you cannot go past the fresh homemade pies at the Bakehouse on Wentworth! Cottage was very comfortable and obviously just renovated. Kitchen was so well equipped and linens beautifully done and extremely clean. The beds & pillows were very comfy and the house was warm and cozy. We enjoyed our time on the front porch reading and also watching tv and playing games at night in the lounge. If you are going out for dinner and having a few drinks, the local taxi company is very efficient. Lastly the hot water supply for the shower was amazing and the bonus of a bath was great for the children. We absolutely loved our time at the cottage and we are already planning our next stay!

Clean, Cosy, Great Location and Comfy Beds!!

My husband and I stayed here with another couple and their 2 children. The house was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well equipped as I am a Chef and love to cook. The beds we so comfortable and sheets were crisp and fresh! Great selection of DVDs and board games where we could have quality family time, it was really hard to leave the house. We finally did and realized how close we were to the Leura Mall, Katoomba, great restaurants and the 3 Sisters. Everything was really only 5-10 mins away. We left feeling rested and totally enjoyed out stay in this tranquil cottage. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Perfect Stay!

Zelma's was the perfect cottafe for our Leura visit! Really could have stayed longer. Best location and so cosy. Will definitely be back in Leura and planning to come back here! It's a beautiful cottage and thank you so much for a wonderful weekend!
