La véranda à Clunes est une nouvelle maison au design architectural sur une colline avec les meilleures vues que les Clunes historiques peuvent offrir. Le design présente le style vernaculaire rural australien, la véranda entourant toute la maison et offrant suffisamment d'espace pour les repas et les divertissements en plein air, quel que soit le temps.
La maison dispose de 3 chambres, 2 avec lits queen et une avec lits jumeaux. Toutes les chambres ouvrent sur la véranda avec portes vitrées. L'immense cuisine de style champêtre a une cheminée à foyer ouvert et est entièrement équipée, y compris une télévision avec Netflix et la machine à café la plus importante!
Une étude séparée et intime a également un feu ouvert et une télévision, et tous les livres que vous pourriez espérer lire.
Il y a 2 salles de bain, une buanderie et un garde-manger walk-in.
La maison a le chauffage central et le refroidissement, et des ventilateurs de plafond pour les mois d'été.
Les animaux sont les bienvenus, mais s'il vous plaît, pas sur les meubles, et sachez que la propriété n'est pas clôturée.

Il y a un service de bus et de train de Ballarat à Clunes, mais voyager en voiture est le moyen le plus simple et le plus rapide pour se rendre à Clunes.
Les meilleurs restaurants et magasins locaux sont à 10 minutes à pied ou à 1 minute en voiture de Fraser St. Fraser St est la belle rue principale qui a été régulièrement présentée dans les films en raison de son état vierge depuis les jours grisants de la ruée vers l'or dans la dernière moitié du 19e siècle. Clunes présente également la meilleure boutique de sucettes de Victoria.
Clunes abrite la célèbre foire du livre en mai, et il y a de nombreux agriculteurs et marchés artisanaux à Creswick, Talbot et Clunes. Le salon agricole annuel de Clunes est un événement à ne pas manquer!
La maison a été conçue pour être un sanctuaire pour le week-end, et un endroit pour récupérer et redémarrer du stress de la vie moderne. Nous espérons qu'il le fera pour vous!

Bucolic bliss!

Once again, Sarah has outdone themselves by creating an ambience that reflects her work as an artist and homemaker. After spending four nights the other week, we simply had to return for several more nights in the heritage listed town of Clunes. Comfort and warmth were met by us as my lovely Lady lazy d-Daisy romped the grounds checking the borders for varmints.

A perfect weekend

From the welcoming lights and warm house, to the set fireplaces and artwork, this was a perfect weekend away with our family. The house was immaculately presented in every way, on a hill overlooking town, and dog friendly too.

Semi-rural Luxury

Everything about this property is wonderful. It is the kind of deep-verandah'd farmhouse that I wish I had grown up in. Designed and creatively appointed by the owner, the house sits above the village of Clunes with views stretching across to mountains beyond. It has every (high quality) facility you need and some you hadn't thought of. It is easily the best holiday rental I have experienced.

Escape from the City Rush

The house is officially my dream house. The house is extremely spacious with a beautiful hallway, spacious kitchen, not to mention the verandah right around the house. We were 3 adults and 1 child and each one could enjoy their own space. The artistic detail in and around the house will inspire anyone who loves art and is artistic of nature. Time stood still for us for 3 days. I also loved the open spaces around the house. One of the best stays we had.

Country living with style!

My cousins and I had a wonderful girls weekend at the Verandah House in Clunes. The photos in the listing don’t do it justice! – Sarah has done a wonderful job creating a beautiful and comfortable space to have a relaxing stay. Amenities are great, pantry stocked well, and rooms spacious. We thoroughly enjoyed eating alfresco in multiple spots on the Verandah and drinking wine as the sun set over the lovely view of Clunes. Sarah was great at responding to our queries and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Relaxing Mini Break

Couldn't fault this property, only stayed a couple of days but it was so lovely, everything had been thought of. A highlight was relaxing by an open fire in the evening.. Can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful Time

This is our second stay in Clunes at this lovely farmhouse. We wanted to come back in Winter to experience the lovely fireplaces. They did not disappoint. It is very special sitting out on the deck overlooking the town of Clunes. We will be back. Wendy

a beautiful space

We had a lovely weekend here. Excellent value. The house is beautifully decorated with paintings/ murals and beautiful textiles. The 3 bedrooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean and modern and kitchen well appointed. We loved the open fireplace in the kitchen. The wide verandah is beautiful but unfortunately it was too cold for us to spend too much time out there- enjoying the amazing view down to the town. It would be wonderful to sit out there on a summers day. Highly recommended and Hopefully we'll be back soon.

Amazing house!

Our family had such a great weekend at the Verandah at Clunes. The house is stunning and has really lovely views off of the back of the property. Our days started out sitting by the fireplace in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and finished in the same spot in the evening with a glass of wine, so cozy! Loved the covered deck that wrapped around the entire house, so many good spots to sit outside and take in the scenery. The kitchen is really well stocked, as is the rest of the house. Also worth noting that we found the house great for kids as it's single story, has wood floors (easy cleanup), and has lots of space. The rooms and beds were really comfortable, and even though it was very cold in Clunes over the weekend we were nice and toasty inside. Right around the corner from the charming Fraser Street in Clunes with some great shops which we really enjoyed seeing. Definitely recommend this house for a relaxing weekend away or a catchup with family and friends. Sarah is so lovely and was such a pleasure to deal with, thanks so much for letting us stay at your amazing house. Can't wait to come again in the summer!

A brilliant eclectic very comfortable home

We had a fabulous stay at this well appointed warm house. The views are beautiful and the neighbourhood is quiet and an easy stroll to town. Thoroughly recommend a stay here, our only issue was as people who sew the lighting isn’t ideal.

Best house ever!

The house is wonderful. It is extremely comfortable and the styling is amazing and interesting. It has everything you need (and more). We were a group of 3 couples staying for two nights on the weekend but I wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back.

Perfect rural getaway

Loved staying here. Beautiful house with a perfect view over Clunes. Full wrap around verandah ideal for morning tea or afternoon drinks. Two open fireplaces, great kitchen, comfy beds. Thoroughly recommended.

Verandah House Wedding weekend

Let me start by saying the photos don’t do this place justice. Verandah House is absolutely beautiful. The views are spectacular. The house is spotlessly clean, the amenities are new and modern but the house feels like it has been there for 100 years. The kitchen layout is the best for families to enjoy time together, having a drink by the fire or playing games around the beautiful kitchen table. It was hot when we arrived and the house was beautiful and cool with the air conditioner on for our arrival. We slept very comfortably and cool. There was so many beautiful spots on the verandah to sit that I had to keep moving so as to enjoy every aspect. The artwork had to be the highlight. I really took my time walking around what felt like a gallery admiring every single piece. I will definitely be back, I think I found my secret escape from the city for when I want to disappear from my busy life and just relax. Thank you Sarah, what a spectacular job you have done!!

Wonderful home in a great location

We had a lovely weekend getaway at The Porch in Clunes with family and friends to celebrate my "significant" birthday. What an amazing home! We all loved every single detail of the home and it's grand proportions and scale. The verandah is wonderful as are the twenty four hour ever changing views of the landscape. Thanks for hosting us. Weekend away

We loved our stay at Clunes. The house was fascinating and so comfortable. We couldn't decide if our favourite place was the comfy library or the verandah overlooking the view. Would love to come back in Winter

Beautiful modern home with an old time vibe

Wonderful home overlooking Clunes with beautiful big proportioned rooms and hallways and a wrap-around verandah with places to soak up the serenity at any time of day. The house contained everything we needed and the Clunes community is warm and welcoming.
