Had a great one week stay at Amanda's Shawnigan cabin. Thee property is on a great spot on the lake away from the busy main roads. Beautiful deck, outdoor spaces, small beach for the kids and new dock. Thanks for a great week.

Cozy Cottage with wonderful Lake access

This cottage is ideally placed by the lake with a cove, dock, fenced yard, and lovely deck with lots of outdoor seating. Clean and cozy with peaceful views of the lake. We will definitely book here again!

Little piece of heaven!

Everything about this spot was so peaceful. Neighbors were friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had a mixture of cold, rain and sun. Floors were a little cold in the mornings but nothing slippers wouldn’t take care of! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful lake cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lakeside cottage. The cottage was even better than advertised. The deck and dock were amazing. It would have been better if the weather was a little warmer but we were still able to take advantage of the cottage location. Amanda was wonderful to work with and we are looking forward to returning in the future.

Nice property

We enjoyed the location and the house, although we think the kitchen needs a little update. The second bedroom has a washer/dryer and the water tank in it. There is no closet. For us it didn't matter because it was just the two of us. We liked our stay anyway and we would go back anytime.

It was a great time away and relaxing by a lake in a winter time.

The house was very cozy, clean and organized. It had everything we needed and more. We are looking to return in a summer to enjoy it again!

Cozy cottage with a stunning view

My family and I stayed at the cottage for 4 days and had an amazing time! The cottage was beautifully decorated, the kitchen well equipped and fully functional, and the two bedrooms spacious and comfortable. There were multiple outdoor areas, with comfy seats, a heater, and most amazing of all, a picnic table at the end of the dock. The view from the cottage, especially the master bedroom, was stunning, and it's very special to be able to see the lake when my husband and I got up morning. Amanda was an excellent host, very responsive, and made us feel very welcomed! We had a great time and will definitely come back again!

Awesome Cabin on Shawnigan Lake

The cabin is beautifully perched by Shawnigan Lake. It has a huge deck and a large dock. There’s 2 parking spots right by the cabin. The yard is fenced which made it easy for our dogs. Inside we were greeted by a basket of goodies and a nice bottle of red wine! The place was spotless! The kitchen was well stocked with dishes which made it easy to cook. Amanda is a gracious host and she responded to our questions promptly. We enjoyed the closeness to things to do and explore. We’ll definitely be booking this spot again.......maybe in the summer time so we can enjoy the lake!

Too Good

Upon the moment I stepped into the house, I instantly already felt that I could not wait to come back next time. The house is small but great size for a couple of small family and the decor is modern and you can tell there's a lot of effort and thought put into it. Amanda and Stew have everything a guest could possibly need in the house already so don't worry too much about bringing extra kitchen tools etc. The house is surrounded by a beautiful outdoor area with seating everywhere, it had just rained before we arrived so we didn't get to sit outside but I'm sure it'll be a great time when the weather is nicer. The best part of the house is definitely the lake, there's a private dock that gives you an expansive view of the lake. The house faces west, so you'll be able to catch the sunset easily and see part of the sun rise as well. The view is just jaw dropping. The water is so still and perfect that we wanted to just jump in if it wasn't so cold in the winter. Amanda was very nice & quick to respond before and during the stay. I almost don't want to leave my true thoughts in the review in case it gets booked up when we're ready to come back. PS a small note if you're planning on bringing your dog. While the outdoor area is fenced, the gap between the horizonal bars are pretty wide, so if your dog is sneaky, they can definitely jump through the gap. And the grass area is also fenced but they can go behind the staircase to sneak to the dock area. The neighbor also has a dog that runs loose sometimes. Not a big deal at all, just make sure to keep an eye out for your dog. :)
