A modern mountain Studio getaway in its natural setting of stately pine trees. Within 500 walking steps to the Village Gondola, shopping, restaurants and night life! Close to the Town bike path and just 2 miles down the road from Twin Lakes. Spacious upper level Studio unit with a bonus mudroom, oversized covered deck with a bistro table and a BBQ. Propane fireplace with slate hearth, vaulted ceilings, tile flooring throughout, granite counters, On Demand Tankless propane water heater, walk-in shower in the 1.25 bathroom. Sleeps 2-4 people comfortably. Enjoy the quiet location with a view of the gardens, pool and Gondola. A blending of warm, rustic and modern interior design offers mountain comfortable vacationing in a prime location! Mammoth Estates is located in the heart of it all, walking distance to the Village at Mammoth, in a quaint and quiet forest mountain setting. Feel free to bring Fido along to enjoy the great outdoors as this townhome is also pet-friendly! All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. Wonderful place!

My teenage son and I stayed here over Presidents' Day weekend. The unit was nicely appointed, very clean and very homey feeling! The amenities including swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, pinball, ping pong and pool table were especially appreciated. The close proximity to the village and gondola was super convenient for us to get up and down the mountain!

All around a wonderful stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was a perfect match for a couple looking to get their ski on. The size was big enough for us and our pups. The amenities were great, and it was a quick walk downhill to the gondola, and we were at the Canyon lodge in no time. Check in and check out was as easy as it could be.

Great spot

The location was perfect. We loved how the town square was within walking distance for easy access to shopping and dining. The opportunity to use the athletic club was awesome and we took advantage of that as well. Highly recommend.

Great little place

Perfect for the two of us and our dog. On site hot tub is great, easy walk to the village, and staff was very friendly. Having to pick up and drop off the parking pass at a different location and no dishwasher not ideal, but I'd still stay here again happily

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time in Mammoth, this studio apartment is great if you're looking for ideal location to the gondola and the village. The hot water on demand worked very well and the modern updates were great. The apartment itself smelled very musty, needs a thorough deep clean, we also could have used extra towels (no laundry in unit).

Clean space and good location

This condo was exactly as described. And best of all, it was conveniently located only a 5 minute walk from the village gondola. The only thing that could be improved would be the check-in process. It felt a bit unnecessary to go to the management office to pick up the door code and parking pass. The door code could have been shared through the app, and the parking pass could be waiting in the unit. While this was only a minor inconvenience, I'd definitely stay here again in the future.

Unit Has a Great Location and is Comfortable for Two Friends

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was comfortable, with a great location. I removed one star for cleanliness because there were crumbs in the sofa pull-out bed when we opened it up, and because there was a massive 2" diameter hairball caught in the shower drain. Aside from these two things, I would stay here again. Note that there is no dishwasher; we did dishes by hand. No big deal but a small dish drying rack would be nice to have.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great - small unit is perfect for two people. Decently stocked with cookware/silver/knives, although we didn't do much cooking. Nice soap/shampoo amenities, especially with the new Mammoth Reservations branding. One suggestion is re: the coffee situation. One packet of coffee is good for a regular coffee maker, and there is one tucked away in the cabinet. The Keurig coffee maker is more visible right by the microwave, but no Keurig pods are provided. Maybe provide some pods for guests to use.

Clean, cozy, comfortable!

A lovely little condo with cozy gas logs, comfy furniture (sofa, rocking chair, bed, all good!), a nice kitchen (not much counter space but perfectly adequate kitchenware), with the added bonus of being pet friendly. Good location, quiet while we were there. No complaints about the property at all! Going to the office for our check-in documents seemed a little old-school... The door code could have been digitally sent to us, and the parking pass could have been left inside (or sent via a PDF file). Kinda a waste of time to physically go to the office? Not a big deal though, office is close by and the documents were waiting for us, it was a very quick and easy stop. All in all: don't hesitate to book this place! ❤️

The space was well prepared with extra bath towels, a well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable furniture, including a comfortable bed. The heat works well, and the mud room is an effective space. It is in a great location close to Canyon Lodge, though not necessarily close walking distance. I drove to Canyon Lodge parking (which has free parking) each day to ski. It could be possible to take the Village Gondola but it was much more convenient to drive to the Lodge parking. Overall I would certainly stay here again.

A plus that its dog friendly. A few negatives were that the exterior door light was burnt out when we arrived at night. Unit had a K Cup, not a drip coffee maker, and was missing a colander. The nice folks at MR addressed everyting the next day. Much appreciated! Note, this unit doesn’t have a dishwasher.

Overall, great place to stay

When we first walked in, there was a musty smell. However, we opened the windows to air it out and it was fine after that. There was a ceiling fan and a box fan there that we used. Aside from that, we loved the place. We were there for mountain biking and the condo is only a couple blocks from the Village which is where the shuttle takes you up to the Main Lodge area so it was very convenient and the area around it was beautiful. Love that they allowed pets. The condo was a good size for the 2 of use and our dog. Nice gear room at the front where we were able to keep the bikes (just barely room for the bikes) shoes, bags, etc. Had all the essentials for cooking, etc. We would come back and stay here again. In fact, we originally booked for 2 nights but ended up extending the stay for 2 more nights.

Not the same as it used to be

Reviewer Comments: Service has gone downhill ever since the complex outsourced it's reservations and services. Upon arrival the smoke alarm was chirping. There was no one onsite to help us. We needed towels for the jacuzzi, but the front office no longer offers that - you have to drive to the new off-site office location in downtown Mammoth to get towels, which is a major inconvenience, especially in a blizzard! The refrigerator was very small and the bottom shelf in the door was broken. Missing cooking oil, which most condos have.

GREAT LOCATION!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in a great location. It took 2 mins to walk to the Mammoth shuttle stop that takes you to the slopes. You are walking distance to the village (less than 10 mins). This unit is clean, spacious, and as an added bonus has a mud room which is great for the winter. Please bring coffee for the drip coffee machine as they do not have a traditional Keurig machine that didn't fit our K-pods. The heater was one downfall. The unit had heat but it only comes out of the vent that is in the mud room, not in the living room or bedroom. We did use the electric fireplace however due to it already having programmed settings and temperatures it turned itself off frequently. Even with heating situation, we still very much enjoyed our stay there and 100% plan on staying there again. On a side note to the property management company, please change your policy and give the code for entrance of the unit directly to the renter and leave the parking pass in the unit. This seems like a really old school way of doing things and a waste of time to drive to the office that isn't on site to pick up a code and paper parking pass, then return it to the office instead of leaving it in the unit.
