Sunkissed Cottage is a completely renovated three bedroom/three bathroom private home with heated pool just a short walk down the lane to the beach. We offer a spacious and updated living area, open kitchen with all high end appliances and dining room with plenty of seating for your entire family or friends. We have sleeping for up to 6 with a king in the master bedroom, queen in the first guest bedroom and two twin beds in the second guest bedroom. Bathrooms have been updated with new tile, vanities, lighting and more. My house is close to the beach and family-friendly activities. You’ll love Sunkissed Cottage because of the outdoor spaces, the ambiance, and the neighborhood. It's a wonderful rental for couples, families (with kids), and big groups. We've updated the landscaping, bedding, exterior paint, pool furniture and so much more. We're looking forward to welcoming you to our vacation home away from home very soon!

Amazing spot with kids

This spot couldn’t have been better with kids. The house was very nice and well kept and the location was amazing. Property management was responsive and helpful.

The property was lovely.

The property was lovely. Updated, comfortable, close to everything on the island - we thought about renting a golf cart, but we were easy walking distance from so many things, we decided we didn't need it. We spent a lot of time on the front screened in porch, on that wonderful swing. The big kitchen table was perfect for family board and card games in the evenings and the kitchen island was amazing! The team was extremely responsive and helpful. My text messages were answered promptly and professionally!

Summer Vacation

My best friend and I took the kids to the beach and had a blast. Loved this property - it was comfortable, well appointed, loved the proximity to the beach, restaurants and marina activities. We were really pleased!

In our party of 6, we all were very comfortable and at ease on this property. It is beautifully decorated and furnished. All three bedrooms have a designated, newly remodeled bath and they are all on the same level. The kitchen is open and easy to use. There is plenty of dining space for 6. The kids loved the pool. The adults enjoyed the lanai. I’d return anytime! The staff was great! There was flooding for the first 1-2 days around the property due to a recent storm. The DVR staff was open and honest with us about it and provided options for other properties, if we wanted. The water receded quickly and we had no further issues.

Beautiful Beach Home

We had a wonderful week at Sunkissed Cottage. It’s all remodeled, well furnished, and slept 6 very comfortably. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and the lanai was such a lovely spot to spend mornings and evenings. It was a short walk down a quiet street to the beach, which was important to our group. The only recommendation I would have is that he beach essentials be updated/repaired or that you rent them from one of the many rental outfits on Captiva or Sanibel. It makes all the difference to have comfort and adequate shade at the beach. Overall, an exceptional property!

Wonderful vacation home in wonderful place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunkissed Cottage. We've stayed in the house before, the new owners made major improvements which we greatly appreciated. Our grandsons loved the pool and we were in it twice a day. There is a great screened porch in the front of the house, very comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. Management was very accomodating - when the grill didn't work well, it was replaced immediately. The location is fantastic -- Laika Lane (and Wightman Lane) are the best streets in all of Captiva -- the beach is right down the street, the small center of town is right around the corner the other way. Highly recommended!

Great property, great location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommended this house. Close to beach, provided items to enjoy both beach and pool. The cozy, enclosed front porch was one of our favorite spots to relax, chat and play games. Keyless entry made it easy for everyone to come and go and the overall decor of the home was warm and welcoming.

Highly recommend; loved our stay!

Great property, great location! Keyless entry made it easy for the whole group to come and go (no worrying about who has the key). Very short walk to the beach and to stores and dining. Right down the beach from Yolo Watersports. House is just as pictured with newly redone kitchen and master bath (guess that’s why they aren’t shown, but they are beautiful!). All the equipment provided to fully enjoy Captiva’s beach, as well as the refreshing pool. Highly recommended!
