Great little condo for our fathers day stay

Great stay

Very clean and well equipped - exactly as pictured. Comfortable and more than enough room for our family. Back porch was perfect and peaceful for relaxing and enjoying our morning coffee. Would definitely stay again!

Lake Lure Olympiad

We stayed here so my husband could compete in the sprint triathlon at Lake Lure and it was just what we needed! A clean quiet place to rest and recharge for each day! The amenities included at Rumbling Bald (which was so close) were fantastic, our kids loves the beach and the pool and lazy river. We will be back!

Great location

Could not get in with code given had to call owner to reset. Bottom Stair to condo was broken. Let owner know. 3 days later the whole staircase was torn out while we were out and we couldn’t get into our condo. Owner put us up at Lake Lure Inn for the night. Next morning, we had to climb up and down a ladder to get our things and check out. Other than that, nice comfortable place great location for golf and hiking.

Perfect for our needs

The property was beautifully decorated and updated. It was quite comfortable fir our grandchild and us. The resort amenities at Rumbling Bald are enjoyable for all ages.

Great Studio - Disappointed with access

Overall this was a nice unit. Not far from the amenities and a pretty view and great balcony! Place itself was super clean with a great little kitchen! Unfortunately, we had issues accessing the unit initially due to an incorrect door code and had to leave the amenities and go to the main building in order to get our access passes to use them (not included on check in instructions and code given was incorrect.)

Smooth place, but rough check-in/check-out.

The unit was nice and had everything we needed except a toaster that worked. We were not given the correct code to get in, and with sketchy service out front, it took a while to reach someone to get the correct code. Once inside, the wifii code was nowhere to be found so, we once again had to call someone to get it.We weren’t given instructions on what to do with the resort passes when we left. We drove by the office to turn them in, and they promptly threw them away. We could have done that;)!

Quiet Modern and Close to Rumbling Bald

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The studio is similar to a large hotel room plus it has a kitchenette too and a lovely shaded patio with views. We spent most of our time enjoying the local area and the amenities at Rumbling Bald which are too numerous to mention and only minutes away. Chimney Rock is a worthwhile (20 ish) minute drive from the property. There is even a small market at the bottom of the hill if you forget your toothbrush or need eggs. The cute studio was updated and modern, it is well decorated and cozy, the check in and out process was easy, the bed was comfortable, the shaded deck area was a bonus. Couple of minor items I would suggest are to add more brighter lighting as the studio felt a bit dark, add a couple less firm pillows, add a hair dryer as another guest mentioned, and maybe leave basic cleaning supplies like windex (the fridge had sticky smudges on the handle and the outdoor tables needed a good cleaning- nothing worth bothering the property manager for). Overall a wonderful experience and we would recommend and return.

Fun time

Property was as pictured. Communication was good. The drive to the amenities was a little further than I thought but not bad. Everything was included except the mini golf. The window covering in the bathroom was thin and you could see through from the outside. Would maybe suggest a different thicker covering. We were offered a late checkout which was very nice. We were overall very comfortable here and would recommend to anyone wanting to visit Lake Lure!

Almost perfect!

Great stay! Experienced a bit of difficulty checking in because of lack of Wi-Fi in the area. Arrived late & could not pull up check-in email or code to unlock door and could not call for assistance. Thankfully, a kind neighbor let us use their phone and the property manager/owner were very helpful! Everything else was great!

Dirty Property

The wash cloths looked like cleaning rags, towels already used. When I pulled back the bed covers, the sheets were wrinkled and dirty. The spare sheets were balled up and used, we had to wait until the next day to get clean sheets. We slept on top of the dirty bed spread in our clothes. We had to pull out our own cleaning supplies and scrub the place down. They still charged for cleaning fee within reservation.

Sea Turtle experience

Gorgeous views from the balcony. Quiet retreat. My only suggestion would be to add a small hair dryer. I did not read the amenity list close enough so I did not pack one. It has just been a while since I have stayed in a home without one provided.

Everything was nice, except one thing

The cleanliness and decor was welcoming. However, there seems to be a trend lately that guests are required to strip the bed and remove garbage from the room or risk receiving a fee. I don't think that spending over $500 on a room should include mandatory clean up. That should be fully handled by cleaning staff. You're supposed to be there to relax, not strip bends and take out the garbage. That's what you do at your own house.

The Perfect Getaway

This was such an enjoyable vacation! The villa is so cute with relaxing and beautiful views all around! There are plenty of activities including a pontoon boat tour, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, pool and spa. I can’t even name them all!! There are also so many different restaurants with beautiful views of Lake Lure!! The location is great because it’s close to everything. If you want to relax and not do much- that’s fun too! Just go out on the balcony and enjoy the huge shade trees on one side or a view of the mountain on the other! You will love everything about your stay! I would definitely love to come back again and share it with my friends!
