Since opening our doors, Magnolia House has achieved a perfect balance between perfect luxury and simple convenience for families. Situated in the heart of Forresters Beach, we provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Magnolia house is a newly renovated coastal Hamptons home in the beautiful Forresters Beach. The house has three bedrooms, ideal for a family getaway for two families or bring the grandparents. There are two bathrooms, a European laundry, large fully equipped kitchen flowing into an open plan dining and lounge.

The property also boasts a large fenced back yard, with play equipment, and a fire pit. We also provide outdoor activities to occupy the little kids and big kids.

Included in your booking is also access to highchairs, a cot and a portable cot, sound machines, bed bumper bars and kid friendly bowls, cups and cutlery.

We also provide outdoor games to use in the large fenced backyard, indoor games for rainy days, beach and picnic kits for exploring.

Online order prior to arrival all your groceries are stored and ready for checkin.

This is all in addition to fresh linen, towels for the house and the beach, a fully equipped kitchen and a place to call home whilst on holidays.

Lovely family friendly getaway

We stayed with our 4 kids aged 1 - 9. They had the best time with the playground, campfire toasting marshmallows, bunk beds, walking around to the local bakery and using the outdoor shower. Highly recommend!

Lovely time away with the family

We had a beautiful stay here for a few days. Shari was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. I must say the service we received from Shari was exceptional. There were so many extras provided for us and the kids that it made a truly memorable experience. We would love to stay here again.

Amazing family getaway - highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at Magnolia House and are already planning our next visit. With three kids under 6 we struggle to find homes that cater for kids and provide room for them to play / run around. Magnolia House not only had a huge (fenced) backyard, a great playground but also a bunch of indoor and outdoor games and toys for them to play with so the kids were never bored. Shari was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our getaway (plus a few very thoughtful extras!) We can't wait to come back!

Fabulous experience

The property was stylish, modern, comfortable and well designed. The hosts were attentive and thought of every detail to make our stay memorable including coffee vouchers and sour dough vouchers for the local shops. They also supplied indoor and outdoor games. Loved it!

Kids paradise

Shari is an amazing Host who ensured that every question was answered immediately prior to our arrival. Unfortunately it poured with rain for 2 days and so we could have done with a dryer which would be the only item that is missing. Everything within the cottage is for a family to feel at home and with oodles to do. We used their cot and bunk bed, their childrens table and chairs, games, and of course the wonderful play castle. Which meant we didn’t have to transport all of those extras. There is so much space for outdoor and indoor entertaining and living. Thanks Shari for your attention to detail and being such a perfect host.

Girls Weekend Away

Last weekend I had a great stay with 2 friends at Magnolia House! Shari was a wonderful host and provided prompt and clear communication, and was very thoughtful with the cheese board and goodies basket she had ready for us on arrival - cheese, sourdough, sheet face masks and other items! We enjoyed complimentary coffees each morning at a local cafe and an extra loaf of sourdough at the bakery thanks to the timber tokens left by Shari. The house was beautifully presented and immaculate. Bathrooms had AL.IVE hand soap and lotion and clean white towels. On Saturday we did the scenic coastal walk to Shelley Beach. The house had a bit of background traffic noise, but nothing that worried us or put us off our sleep in the supremely comfortable beds with fresh linen. Overall is was a relaxing and fun weekend away.

The most relaxed I’ve been in three years!

I don’t know where to start, the fact this property is absolute heaven for a family with young kids or the fact we witnessed a helicopter crash and I was still the most relaxed I’ve been since having my first baby!! The kids were happy from the moment we arrived, the personal touches for the kids with little colouring in, a foam plane and a kite to play with to the perfect backyard with play equipment and the Childrens books in their bedroom. I felt like we were living the out of reach Australian dream for the weekend as Sydney life for us is confined to an apartment! Shari (the host) let us know she would pick up our click and collect and put it in the cupboards before we arrived, this was the best personal touch as I could relax immediately with the cupboards and fridge stocked with exactly what we needed. Not to forget the fact I accidentally ordered for Batemans bay pick up and Shari quickly noticed and let me know so I could change it before it was too late! The hamper on arrival was perfection with pancakes, honey, treats for the kids too! We also ordered a beautiful cheese platter recommended by Shari and had a picnic outside. We brought a little paddle pool for the kids and we hardly needed to leave the property with the kids so occupied. We had one trip to the beach and two for coffees but otherwise we were relaxed and at ease. We booked for two nights and Shari gracefully offered us a third night for free which we excitedly accepted. This thankfully made all the difference especially as we saw the Forresters beach helicopter come down on Saturday night and enjoyed the extra day to relax after that sight!! I’m a nurse and when we saw it crash I ran to see if they needed help, thankfully the passengers didn’t have life threatening injuries and Shari kept us updated on what was going on. In that experience I met the extremely pleasant neighbours and community as everyone was out of their houses and wanting to help. We thankfully didn’t lose power as some others did but many neighbours were checking in on us that we still had power as did Shari. The garden and outdoor eating area was the best part of it all. Each morning I did exercise on the big lawn and tired my toddler out as he tried to keep up. We will definitely be back! The house has everything for a young family you can relax from the moment you walk in.

Wedding prep

I booked Magnolia House for the 11th and 12th of November as my daughter was getting married. We wanted somewhere close to the church in Terrigal and reception at Gracelands which is around the corner. The house was perfect! It’s decorated in the Hampton’s style with an amazing outdoor deck and lots of furniture. We walked in the door to find a beautiful note from Shari and a bottle of champagne in the fridge to celebrate! I was part of the bridal party and there was ample room for us all to get ready. Nothing was too much trouble for Shari from opening the door after I forgot to give my husband the code, to checking security footage to help me find a lost wedding card. We really enjoyed our short stay and wished it was longer. I highly recommend Magnolia House.

The most perfect Easter trip!

I cannot fault this beautiful experience, we had the most wonderful trip over Easter with family and friends. The house is stunning, so beautifully decorated and the host was kind enough to leave a very generous Easter gift for us and the kids. The backyard and deck is perfect for kids, and the location is walking distance to great shops including a cafe and bakery. We will most certainly be back. Thank you!! 🌸✨

Beautiful house with everything you need.

We loved our stay here and will definitely be back. Shari was the perfect host and was so easy to communicate with. The adults especially enjoyed the arrival treats and the kids loved the big, fenced in yard. It’s very central, and easy and quick to get to all the surrounding areas, including the beach! And it’s only 90mins from Sydney. Thank you!

Hi, I am Shari and my partner is Kris. We own Magnolia House, our first Airbnb that will be complete for letting in January 2022. We love what we have create at Magnolia house and want the ability to share our home with family and guests. We live around the corner and one of us will usually be home should you require assistance during your stay.

Magnolia house, has all the charm and functionality to provide you with the perfect escape. We choose the property to host our family for holidays, however as the renovation neared completion we new Magnolia house was too good not to share. Its close to the beach, has a large yard and that instagram feel.
