Le logement dispose de 100 mètres carrés sur deux étages et peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 6 personnes. Il ya 3 chambres séparées à l'étage supérieur le long avec un canapé lit, situés dans le coin TV / DVD informel. Le chalet offre également une cuisine entièrement équipée (avec lave-vaisselle) et une salle à manger. Salle de bains avec une douche et un combo lave-linge / sèche-linge. Mobilier de jardin et un gril à gaz sont également fournis.
Tous les clients doivent nettoyer la maison et laver le linge de lit avant leur départ.

Lovely indoors and outdoors

Location is wonderful for those who want a quiet retreat with access to hiking and sightseeing in Snaefellsnes National Park. The house is well maintained and perfectly equipped for family dinners and comfortable evenings after outdoor activities.

Lovely stay

We could hike a lot. Apartment has a splendid ambiance. Supermarket is on other side of peninsula. Not everything available and quite pricy but quality is good. Better bring food from bigger town.

Cozy home between Ocean an Glacier

A very quiet, cozy, and fully equipped holiday home by the sea, nestled in the stunning nature at the foot of Snæfellsjökull. It is a perfect starting point for day trips to the nearby national park or to Kirkjufell. Communication with the owner, Snorri, was smooth and prompt. Absolutely recommended for 2 to 4 people. We would gladly return anytime.

Just as fantastic as everyone says

Such a beautiful setting, views out of every window. Loved walking down to the beach and enjoying the cafe. Cozy on a rainy day, and so much to do close by on nice days.

Excellent Stay

The location was very convenient for spending time on the Snaefellsnes Peninsula and visiting the national park. We enjoyed being in a fully equipped house. We also appreciated being able to add an extra day to our stay.

Magnificent!

The home was wonderful and in a stunning setting. Quiet location with ocean view to front and mountain (volcano) view at back. We all loved our stay. Would highly recommend to others.

Absolutely Breathtaking

This absolutely stunning home was perfectly nestled in between mountains and ocean. The home has all the comforts needed to feel at home. Beds were very comfortable, the views from every window, very easy access & check in. We loved our stay! Shower and hot water was just perfect! We will be back! Thank you, Minnesota - USA

We loved this house- not only the comfy, well-allocated house but also the location. close to the peninsula and all of the things to see but we could also walk out the door to take hikes. hope to come back some day :)

Views are fantastic

Between the mountains behind the house and the ocean in front of the house, the views can’t be beat. Easy to get to all the points of interest on the peninsula. Out of the way of most of the hustle and bustle of a busy city, which is what we like.

Quaint Home in Beautiful Location

We had a wonderful time staying 4 nights in this unique home on the Snaefellsnes peninsula. It was very cozy, even with cold winds outside. The kitchen is small, but well-equipped. This worked fine for our group of 3, as we only made breakfast there. The beds were comfortable, and there are light darkening shades on the bedroom windows. The staircase to the second floor is steep, but we were careful and had no incidents.It was a great base from which to access the sights.

Fantastic area

Really nice cottage in a fantastic area. Everything worked just fine and the host was very helpfull all the way. Lots of tourists in late august but also possible to find less crowded spaces. And always nice to come home to the cottage after a long day!

Wonderful rural home

This home is rural, but in a beautiful setting! It is also well stocked with games and drawing supplies for the kids. It was a great place to stay while exploring the western end of the Snaefellsnes peninsula. And there was a grocery store, pool, and playgrounds only 35 minutes away.

Lovely cottage

We had a wonderfull time in Iceland and this cottage made our vacation very comfortable. It was the perfect place to get home to after a long and, sometimes, cold day outside. The cottage was clean, all necessities are there and it is lovely decorated. It made us fell "at home" during the 1,5 weeks we spend there. Thanks for Thordis and Snorri for sharing this lovely cottage with us.

Charming, comfortable, well-appointed house in fantastic location

We loved our stay at this property. The house was very comfortable and charming, and the location was perfect for exploration of all parts of the stunning Snaefellsnes peninsula, including the national park. We stayed 4 nights, but could imagine staying longer. Communication with the hosts was excellent. This was our favorite accommodation during 2 weeks in Iceland, and compares favorably with other VRBO rentals we've done in other countries.

One of a kind!

This is a one-of-a-kind property in the most amazing location! The house is an absolute jewel and it is exceptionally decorated. The owners communicate well and shared their insider's list of places to see that were off the beaten track. We would definitely book this property again!

Wonderful home in beautiful Hellnar

We had a wonderful autumn vacation in Iceland on the peninsula in the shadow of Snæfellsjökull. It was wonderful to wake up to the views of the ocean to the south and the white capped Snæfellsjökull mountain to the north. Hellnar was quiet and the property was beautiful and cozy. The house itself was beautiful, well maintained, warm and had everything we needed for a great stay. Snorri, the owner was responsive on VRBO and we were fully satisfied.

Perfect home in an amazing location

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Snorri and Thordis's beautiful cottage in Hellnar. The Snaefellsnes Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places we have traveled. The house was in the perfect spot to sightsee during the day and relax in at night while enjoying both mountain and ocean views. The house is great for children and they have plenty of games, Lego, art supplies, and more. We felt completely at home and would welcome the chance to stay in the cottage again. It was beautiful, well kept, cozy, and the location can't be beat.

We are a family of five and are very active in hiking, skiing and nature exploring. We were hiking in the area in 2019 and by change came across this beautiful house in this stunning landscape - Simply meant to be. We live in Reykjavik and use this house primarily as our family getaway and writing retreat. It has truly become the favorite place among all family members :)
