Pretty Mama is located right on the Atlantic Ocean, and it's your perfect oceanfront getaway. Featuring a private walkway that leads you from the back of the house right to the beach, you will enjoy morning strolls along the shore, days basking in the sun, and nights gazing at the stars. After long days at the beach, come back home and take a dip in the private pool or hot tub!

Inside, the soaring ceilings, sliding glass doors and endless windows invite warmth and sunlight into the house year round. As you arrive to the top level, you will find a large great room with custom built-ins, a dining area that seats 20, a large sun deck; eat-in bar for 5, a ship's watch, a powder bath, and a master bedroom with a private bath. The loft, which overlooks the great room, is the perfect place to snuggle up with a good book. On the mid-level, you will find (4) Master Bedrooms. The ocean facing Master Bedrooms feature their own private deck, perfect for hearing the waves crash as you are drifting to sleep at night. On the lower level, you will find the (3) remaining bedrooms and game room with kitchenette. Wonderful trip home

My family moved away from the coast 30+ years ago. We brought our mom back to see old friends and reminisce about the old days. The property allowed us to have friends in to visit with and our kids had plenty of room to play with their cousins.

We did not receive any text or email telling us property was ready. Overall good property but a gas grill really should be provided with a property of this standard. Cleaning wasn’t as good as experienced at other properties. Property beginning to look tired and need of upgrading and maintenance.

Wish it was bigger for our larger dogs. My only concerns were...the house was dusty..the house smelled musty...the hot water was not hot enough.

First Nags Head trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week. House, pool, and beach were fantastic. Everything else were just small items that kept it from being a five star review. Unit was not ready to enter at 4:00. The entry rules need to be made much clearer during booking process.Not cleaned to PA Dutch standards.Mirrors and shower doors in Master Suite were not touched.Crumbs found on kitchen chairs and counters.Couldn’t get some of the TV’s to work. (But, didn’t need them)Walkway to beach needed thorny vegetation trimmed back.But, first trip to Nags Head was a very positive family outing.

Feeling tip sea was perfect for a great family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was spacious and view was impeccable. Location was great- could walk to everything- coffee, store, ice cream and mini golf. To give a little criticism- the bathroom we used had a few cracks in the seat- it could easily have been replaced. Unlike other Vrbo homes I have stayed in- it was bare bones. There were some games, books and puzzles- we enjoyed that! The pool boy came with no notice - but they were very nice and didn’t bother us. Since the house was recently sold to a new rental company, they didn’t change over the electricity and there was a man from the electric company knocking on the door saying he was going to shut off our power. That was not a highlight of the week. However, the rental company was responsive and we enjoyed a great week at a beautiful home!

We had a beautiful family week as we always do when we are together. The house is very nice and we enjoyed the week in OBX as we were regulars 12 years ago and it was our first time back since. The house is spacious, could def use a good cleaning, the pool was nice the area around pool needs a little clean up and the pool itself but we enjoyed it anyway. Hot Tub was dirty. The stairs to the beach now - NEED SIGNS - DO NOT WALK WITHOUT SHOES VERY DANGEROUS. We had a little mishap there that kind of put a damper on one of my kids' week. We made the best of the situation and are hoping they make it right along with putting up those signs. ONCE THEY FIX UP THE LITTLE THINGS THE house is great. The lower level smelled so bad and the bathrooms were very dirty down there also. House just needs to be cleaned up - some new comforters and the moofy smell on lower level where pool table is was the worst. We spent most of time on main level and that level was very nice. Just needs some upkeep - and stairs to beach need help - splinters on hands from railings also. The dryer was not working for part of the trip also but they came and fixed it. The manager (Beach Realty) was nice but did not check on us after the storm which was weird. They lost some screens and the gate by pool flew off along with hot tub cover. Sand in pool and they never came to clean that either. so what i can say is it needs to be clean.The silverware drawers were very dirty.Def clean before use.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented Pretty Mama June 2024 and in general the space was adequate and met our needs. The kitchen was well equipped. Linen service was good. Since rentals are for a full week, I would expect that maintenance would be available for the entire week but nothing was available SAturday, SUnday or on July 4th. The rental maintenance support was less than equal to the price for the house. maintenance should be on call all days until 10PM and for emergencies 24 hours. On arrival I discovered that one king bed frame was broken, and I had to put mattress on the floor. A maintenance service request was reported but no resolution was taken the entire week, spent the week on the floor. Dresser drawers in one bedroom had broken drawers, reported on the first day but were still unresolved when I left. The pool turned Green on Monday and was reported that day, but nothing was fixed for 2 days and then took another day for the filter to clear the water. The hot tub failed due to a circuit breaker problem and took another 2 days for it to be fixed. Since we pay for a full week of the house maintenance support should be available for the entire week. The rental company should have full weeklong maintenance agreements with their maintenance contractors. Arrival entrance to the house is defined as available by 6PM but may be later which is late, most other rentals we have used had we were in by 2:30 on Saturday. The trouble reporting staff was friendly and courteous and when the maintenance staff did show up they were also friendly and courteous and fixed the problem. All the problems could be resolved if the management company had a more robust agreement with their contractors who do the work.

A great house!

The family had the sniffles the whole week and there appears to be black mold in the ductwork and around some of the registers. Lights didn't work, TV's didn't all work. Door handles in some rooms were falling off as well as shower doors. We had to buy a table cloth for the dining table because it was so sticky with crud. Would not rent again even in off season rates.

Reviewer Comments: I would saw overall this was a bit of a disappointment. I have rented many beach houses and maybe it’s just Naga Head but this house seemed a tad over priced. The pool area had not been maintained. Built up sand, weeds and the pool cleaning was only done after several phone calls. The lower level bathtub was clogged according to the cleaners and they never showed up to fix. Fortunately another tub could be used. The upstairs deck furniture could be much improved. The house was nice but again, not as nice as expected for the price.
