Amazing place!

We are highly satisfied with the place from the reservation until check out. The place is very close to the attractions at the same time is a quiet neighborhood. Shukriya as a host is just amazing, she promptly respond all the requests with a very good heart. The property is very well maintained and has everything to makes us feeling like home. Definitely, is our first options for next Niagara trip!

Great place to stay

Shukriya is a great host - she is super nice, responds quickly, and checked in to make sure we had everything we need. The place was very clean and has everything you will need for a short stay, plus a few extra things. Would definitely recommend for a small group or family staying in Niagara for a couple of days. ☺️

It's All in the Details

We had excellent communication with the owner but the listing failed to mention two important items. One being that there were long term renters in the same space (basement apartment) and two that the facilities were not able to handle toilet paper (there was a note instructing to use the garbage.) The space was very clean and offered amenities that others miss that make it feel like home. Unfortunately the long term renters were up all night and had guests in and out as well. We choose our VRBO rentals based on location and this was very close to all the Niagara Falls vacation sites. Just be aware that you are sharing your space and that the backyard is a shared space as well.

It as described

Well firstly, it wasn’t clear in the listing that they have tenants in the basement. Once we arrived, there was a very strong pungent food smell and it was so strong we had to open all the windows and leave for a bit. Ok, fine we can deal with that once, but we just had a ten hour drive from Illinois and we’re all very tired. Once in bed around 11, the tenant below started having guests over. The door to the basement is right next to the main bedroom and squeaks loudly. This door noise and guest were so loud until 2am. Oh, and you could not use the back yard as pictured in her add, the grass was super long and the chairs were all laying on their sides and filthy.I texted the host and after a few texts about it, she didnt want to hear it any longer so she threatened to evict is and told me she knew I was going to be a problem bc I thought I found a property that was dog friendly so we had to make other plans for our dog which was fine. All we wanted to do was sleep since we were exhausted but that didn’t happen the first night. Of course we already paid and she said she would not reimburse us if we wanted to leave due to the noise so we were stuck with the for 4 nights! Thankfully the tenants were quiet the next two nights but we decided to leave early bc it smelled so bad in there from below and her tenants were always outside on the phone watching us as we went in and actually followed me to the front door one day. So we are out a night because she would not be reasonable.
