“Summer Salt South Unit” is a traditional side by side duplex located at the desirable southern end of Wrightsville Beach. Close to Crystal Pier and Oceanic Restaurant, this 4-bedroom 3 bath southern unit offers great ocean views and private beach access. Sunbathe on the shared rooftop deck where you can see miles of coastline or leisurely wander the winding beach path to the pristine ocean sands!

The ground floor entrance leads you to a small living den. This is a great space for children and teens as there is a bedroom with a bunk bed (twin/twin) and a free-standing twin bed that has pull out twin trundle bed. A full bathroom is also located on the entry level of the home across from the bunk room. Upstairs you enter the main living space. From the spacious open living and dining area with large sliding glass doors that brighten the space. The living and dining area are separate from the kitchen but connected through a serving window.

Down the hall the first bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The spacious primary suite offers a king size bed and private bathroom. There is also a twin bed in the primary bedroom which works wonderfully for families! The third bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed. A full bathroom located in the hallway serves the twin and queen guest rooms.

Sit back and relax on your ocean front deck while enjoying the gentle breeze! With ample parking, fantastic beach access, covered porches, sun decks, and soft breezes “Summer Salt South Unit” is a wonderful location for your next family getaway. Great beachfront house

Played tennis on one of the warmer days. New Years Eve and Day were cold. Good time to stay in and watch College Football Bowl games.

Stay away from Bryant Real Estate

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bryant real estate could care less about the people renting from them. They are a classless organization. Read the other reviews, you will NOT be happy renting from them. Property was in disrepair yet they still say nothing is wrong.

Dissappointing

House is beachfront and has lots of bedrooms, but furniture, floors, walls, decor is all very tired and worn. That made it seem not all that clean. Beds were pretty sad. Worst of all, there was not a bubble of soap in the place and only a single trashbag. I stay in lots of hotels and also rentals by owners and have never had one that did not give at least one soap and two trash bags. Especially given the price, this was very dissappointing.

Beautiful House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were a group of ladies celebrating a Bacholorette weekend with a Bridal Shower! The the house was absolutely perfect! There was lots of space inside, a shady deck, and a very sunny sunroof!! The living room/kitchen area had incredible natural light, and there was a very welcoming, homey feeling to the entire space! The bedrooms were great, with the exception of the downstairs pull out couch, which is considerably un-sleepable-especially for 2 people! Lots of space in the stocked kitchen! One suggestion would be the kitchen could use some up-dating, and the fridge doesn't always properly close!Thank you very much for a big, bright, beautiful, ocean front house! We loved our weekend, and only wish it could have been for longer!

Rooftop porch best feature is it is available

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house was great. The space and supplies and the house was very accommodating. The roof top deck would be the best feature of the house but unfortunately after we had been there for a day or so the maintenance people came and told us that it was not safe to be up there. There had been a ribbon blocking off the steps to go up which had been removed before we arrived and we were not aware we should not be up there. The maintenance man came and told us it was not safe and we should not go up there. We should have been told before we came that the deck would not be available as it was a key feature of the house. .

Great Views and Beach Access

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property description and photos were accurate. There were 11 ladies staying in the rental for the weekend as we all ran in the Wrightsville marathon/half marathon. Plenty of space inside and outside. We all enjoyed hanging out on the upper deck, the back porch, in the living room, and, of course, on the beach. We are all pretty laid back and knew what to expect for the price we paid. The rental was mostly clean, certainly not immaculate. There were several roaches in the kitchen. The renters next door created issues for us on both nights by staying up until 3am and partying. Both issues were addressed with the real estate agency. While we all enjoyed each other and the location, we would not stay at this property again.

Met or Exceeded Expectations

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is actually two units. We stayed in the South End (unit) of the House; the rental photos matched exactly what we saw when we arrived.The picture of a sofa in a room outside the "bunk bed room" is on the 1st floor. All other photos are of the 2nd floor which is level with the sand when facing the beach. The deck is on the roof and in essence is the 3rd level. Our unit deck was the south end of the whole deck. All was expected except the property management firm significantly exceeded expectations by having a REALl person answering every call during normal business hours. Never did we get a recording or be asked to leave a message. Also the staff was able to answer EVERY question we had over 3-4 conversations in the weeks leading up to our arrival.Very satisfied!

Uncomfortable beds, burned out bulbs, noisy housemates

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For years this property has needed to upgrade its electrical outlets. Ordinary chargers for phones and computers will not stay "in" many of the outlets in the living room and bedrooms but fall out and only a few of the outlets are useable for this reason. The king and queen mattresses are very uncomfortable, bowl-shaped. I chose to use a twin bed this year and last year for this reason and my guests complained about the larger mattresses. Half of the hall lights were burned out and one of the porch lights was out. There were no spare light bulbs to be found anywhere and it would have been appropriate to have some available - more appropriate to see that none were burned out. A light to illuminate the grilling area of the lower deck near the hose would be nice since that is presumably where grilling is supposed to be done and it is not illuminated by the very dim porch lighting. For the first time in many, many times renting this property I had to make a noise complaint about people in the other side as it was filled with college students who decided one night to have a party that went on several hours indoors and out and the next day played loud music on the deck for several hours. Apparently someone finally got a message through to them and they were at last quiet for the remainder of their stay. It was my understanding that someone at least thirty years of age is to be on the property - but none of the guests on that side appeared to meet that criterion. When you plan this far in advance for a vacation and you choose the same house over and over again for, what, 28 years now - you expect to have the basics covered - comfortable beds, quiet neighbors, functioning outlets, adequate lighting. This year was a big disappointment.

Great location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were in town for a tennis tournament and stayed 4 nights. The home was comfortable and a good size for 7 of us. Property would benefit from some updating though and some people said the beds/sleeper sofas weren't as comfortable as expected. We had to call regarding the heating but they responded quickly and fixed our issue. No real complaints.

A great beach weekend

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was very in a beautiful spot. The house had a great layout with wide open living spaces. It was not very accessible for folks with handicaps with many steps and 300ft path through the sand to the beach. Bathrooms need updating on the tub faucets. The small kitchen was very adequate. All in all we had a great weekend.
