Best place ever if you are staying in Victoria

Our stay was more than we could have hoped for! The house and surroundings are a place of magic and beauty. We also hosted a small get together of whale researchers within BC for a meeting, and the surroundings added a very personal atmosphere to the day and topics. Everyone was delighted with the place and we hope to book again same time next year. Trisha was the best host ever, making sure we have everything we needed and even offered to walk our dog during the meeting!! Best place ever, highly recommend if you are planning a visit to Victoria!!

Excellent stay

This is truly an exceptional place to stay. The house is very comfortable and quiet and the property is beautiful. Close to Butchart Gardens and about 20 minutes to downtown Victoria.

Beautiful property

Everything was wonderful! We six adult lady cousins loved the property. Great location to get to everything while enjoying the country setting. Only negative was a slow response when we had a plugged toilet in one of the two bathrooms, so six of us using one toilet. Would stay again.

Victoria luxury

We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful property. You have done a wonderful job with renovation of your guesthouse. Extremely welcoming and very well equipped. Our friend has a disability and home was very accessible. We apologize for leaving our lunch in your fridge and snacks in one of the drawers. Realized after we had departed. If you prefer that guests leave no food or beverage behind, maybe include in your notes. We enjoyed beautiful Victoria, including The Terry Fox Monument at Mile 0 (we are life time participants and organized an event in our community for 30+ years) Butchart Gardens, drive through downtown, Visits to your local fish and meat markets. Overall your home was a great place to relax after two weeks away from home. Thank you so much for your hospitality Sandy, Richard, Bernard and Kay We won't hesitate to recommend to any friends who are travelling in the area.

This guest house, and the surrounding grounds, are beautiful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Easy 25 minutes to the Victoria harbor.

Lovely for families or friends

There were six of us friends who stayed for four nights. Everything was really nice but there were a few things that should be mentioned. This is a perfect location as a home base for trips into Victoria or Sidney. Very close to everything. We did notice that the espresso machine does not work. We noticed an odour in the home which we’re not sure if it was stale air or what, but it had to be aired out daily. The drawers were full of dust and unfortunately, a few of the items that were laid inside were covered in it. All in all it was a great stay!

Peaceful country guest house

Our family of 7 travelled with our baby and enjoyed a pleasant spring holiday at this country guesthouse. Host was welcoming and accommodating to baby needs throughout the stay. Kitchen amenities were great for daily meals and everyone enjoyed a great stay here on the Island.

This home was everything plus some. The host was wonderful, home was spotless and well stocked. The property was just awesome and so relaxing. We traveled with family to fish and spend a few days in Victoria. Could not ask for anything more.

Lovely house

The guest house is quiet, clean and comfortable. It is a short 15 minutes drive to downtown. Trish and Ian are very nice hosts. They made sure that we are always well stocked with the essentials. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a vacation home in Victoria.

Wonderful Stay

We had a fabulous stay at Trish and Ian’s property. The home is lovely, fully equipped with everything you would need or want. The grounds are amazing. I stayed with my parents and my kids, and it worked for the whole family. I would wholeheartedly recommend and would definitely stay again the next time I am in the area.

Family time

Relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle

We loved this house! The property manager is easy to reach and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. The house is well-appointed with quality and luxurious items. The decor is thoughtful and the book selection is entertaining to say the least! I would recommended it for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle.

This was an absolutely amazing property to stay at, our whole familly absolutely loved it and will definitely come back. The kitcken was amazing, we had healthy home-cooked meals and enjoyed every minute of it. The owners were extremely hospitable and helpful. Great rooms, comfortable beds, the master bedroom is incredible including its walking closet and washroom. We stayed with familly and our dog who we took on walks around the area. We went to Butchart garends as well as strolled around Victoria. Amazing experience :)
