Thankful for a great house

The weather didn’t turn out as we’d hoped for our trip therefore limiting our fishing so this beautiful home made our trip! It was perfect allowing us to make wonderful memories with family and still have an amazing trip!

Cousin Time!

My cousins and I try to find a weekend each year to meet up and spend time together catching up on our current lives and laugh about the fun we had growing up close to each other. This like home was perfect for this tradition. Lovey views and comfortable home… had a fun weekend!

Fall Break at the Lake

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was lovely and well appointed and the view was unbeatable. The bathrooms were on the small side and one of the three bedrooms is in the basement, something we should have figured out from the pics but just didn’t notice. There was plenty of everything we needed, and the screened in porch made for additional space where we could all get together and enjoy the fresh air and quiet and the lake views. The only real complaint we had was how many bugs we had to kill. We stayed for five days and probably killed upwards of 20 spiders inside the house. This is in a very wooded area near a lake so I’m sure it’s to be expected, just something to think about when you book if you’ve got anyone in your party who has a fear.

Could be better

Overall, our stay was okay. The home has one of the best views on the lake. For that it deserves 3 stars. However, we felt that there could have been much more cleaning done both inside and especially outside. The deck, as beautiful as the view was, appeared to have not been cleaned in a very long time. Both upstairs and downstairs. The exterior of the house and dock was extremely dirty. The inside of the house was okay but again we found filth that was not cleaned prior to our arrival. I know not everyone has the same standards but we have rented many homes over the years and this one was dirty, cluttered, and in disarray. We felt like it was disrespectful and will not rent it again.

Loved the house and property. Outside areas were perfect. Pictures on line were spot on. This was a short getaway for a friend who had surgery earlier this year. She needed to have peace and a wonderful view. This property checked all the boxes. We will be back!

Wonderful lake home

Property was great, well-maintained. The amount of outside area (screened and unscreened allowed everyone to spread out a bit. No surprises! We made great memories there!

Beautiful home and lake view!

A restful and lovely place with mountain terrain and great views from the windows, porches, deck and dock. The most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a vacation rental home. The beds were also comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Perfect lake house!

Everything about this house was perfect! The pictures don't do it justice. It's maintained very well. We also loved the central location to make it easier to fish different parts of the lake.

This place feels like home from the moment you walk in the door.

This place is just amazing. The views are spectacular with wide open skies with no obscurities. All rooms are on different levels so you feel like you have plenty of space and privacy if that’s what you’re after. I was there for a family gathering with my kids and grandkids. The 4 kids ages range from 3-10 and this place is so kid friendly. Wendy, the owner and I struck up a friendship while I was there. She is the best and obviously loves sharing her home with others. 10 out of 10. Absolutely no bad review to leave. In fact we’ve already booked for next year!!!! Thank you Wendy for everything.

Excellent!!!!

My family of six (plus my mom) are from South Alabama and we had to have a place around the Guntersville/Scottsboro area for our son’s wedding weekend. From day one, our Host was more than accommodating. She went above and beyond the normal scope of a “good host” making sure we had everything we needed, as well as being flexible and available for any questions and needs we had. The property is clean and beautiful. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and the view is relaxing and breathtaking. I looked for months before I settled on Wendy’s property. I definitely hit the jackpot when I chose hers. If we ever have to stay in the area again, this will be the first place on my list! ❤️

Beautiful place!

We were in need of a beautiful weekend getaway and this did not disappoint. It's a beautiful property right on the lake. We enjoyed our time here exploring Scottsboro and the surrounding areas. At first, we were a little nervous due to lack of reviews (something we usually look for). However, we came to find out it was a newer rental. Wendy was an amazing host and reached out to us the day our rental began. She was very nice and easy to contact throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!
