Hale Lani signifie "Maison dans le ciel" en hawaïen. Dans la mythologie hawaïenne ancienne, le Hale Lani était l'endroit où les êtres célestes allaient se reposer et se rajeunir, créer et rêver. C’est notre espoir pour chacun de nos invités.

Hale Lani est la partie supérieure de notre maison. Il a sa propre entrée privée afin que vous puissiez vous détendre et profiter pleinement de votre séjour.

La location de Hale Lani comprend:

- Parking sur place
- Entrée privée sans clé
- Internet sans fil
- Télévision ultra haute définition avec Apple TV, Netflix, Amazon Prime et de nombreuses chaînes câblées
- La cuisine comprend: réfrigérateur, micro-ondes, grille-pain, four, cafetière, bouilloire, vaisselle et couverts
- Les serviettes et les draps sont fournis pour tous les invités

Il y a aussi une buanderie commune avec un lave-linge et un sèche-linge. Le savon à lessive est fourni gratuitement.

Nous aimons Hilo et son ambiance old-hawaïenne authentique. Les maisons de l’époque des plantations ont été construites dans les années 1930 et, tandis que les nôtres ont été soigneusement entretenues et rénovées, quelques maisons de notre quartier ont besoin d’un peu de retouche. Si vous êtes à la recherche d'aventure, de véritables expériences hawaïennes, de nouveaux voyages amusants vers des destinations incroyables à un prix économique, cet endroit est fait pour vous! Comme notre maison est située dans un quartier résidentiel calme, nous demandons à nos clients de montrer l'esprit aloha à ceux qui les entourent en limitant les niveaux de bruit et en respectant la culture hawaïenne. Il peut y avoir d’autres invités dans la partie inférieure de notre maison, nous demandons donc à chacun de nos invités de pratiquer aloha et de respecter la confidentialité de chaque espace. Il est interdit de fumer dans ou autour de notre maison.

Hilo est authentique Hawaii. Les plages (plages de sable noir / rocheuses), les magasins, les bons restaurants, les cascades et les randonnées sont à quelques minutes en voiture de Hale Lani. Vous pouvez également accéder à des excursions en hélicoptère et en bateau à divers endroits autour de Hilo. Si vous avez une voiture, vous pourrez rejoindre le parc national des Volcans au sud ou le Mauna Kea au nord-ouest en une heure environ. Un centre commercial massif et un centre commercial sont juste au coin de nous - vous pouvez y aller à pied tellement il est proche! Nous pensons que notre endroit est l'endroit idéal pour rester, jouer et profiter de Aloha!

Great little stay in Hilo!

Great place for a short stay in Hilo. Shauna was awesome and super responsive! The place is great for a small group, everything you need aside from a dishwasher. Bedrooms are great and mattresses are super comfy. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but clean and functional. The house is split between 2 units and we didn't hear our downstairs neighbors except when they would get into their car, so very quiet! There is no AC which wasn't a problem for us as the fans were enough to keep us at good temperature. We love the backyard, beautifully done! Once thing to note for travelers sensitive to noises, there are dogs in the other houses around who ended up barking late in the evening and early in the am. There is also a lot of beautiful life around the garden, lots of bird singing and roosters making sure you know they are there, which can be quite loud since the windows don't really close. Again, that was not a problem for us but something to consider if you want a very quiet stay!

Delightful Hilo stay

Cute little 2 bedroom, perfect for two couples. We even had a visit from the gecko! Great location for our day trips. One minor glitch: with 2 schools nearby the traffic can get heavy around at the end of the school day, so plan accordingly.

Wouldn’t be my first choice

A number of things to be aware of. (1) The unit does not have A/C. As a result, barking dogs will keep you up all night, and the roosters will have you up early. (2) The unit needs some significant attention. Worn, dirty carpets need to be replaced, there were no dressers or drawer space to unpack, and the night stands were simply crates that had been screwed to the walls. Oh, did I mention the bullet holes in the windows?! The kitchen was reasonably stocked, and the location is great if your plans involve lots of activities on the Hilo side of the island.

Wonderful Hilo Getaway!

We loved our stay here! The house felt really welcoming and warm. It was close to all of the incredible adventures we had planned, and Shauna was such a great host! She checked in on us and even recommended a great place to get ice cream for the kids. You won’t regret your stay here!

Location great, no local news service on TV, downstairs renters were loud. If had a/c; noise may not be a problem cause all windows would be closed. Even when other renters were inside, could still hear conversations 🙁

Great stay in Hilo

Nice central location. Very thoughtful and complete amenities provided throughout. There are ear plugs provided which we found out later why... the roosters! We found it amusing and since we stayed 2 nights, not a big deal. Great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We followed quite a few and had a great time! One note, no AC in the unit. Hot during the day time but tolerable since they have nice fans throughout the house and we were out most of the day. House cooled down in the evening nicely.

Great accommodation - lovely home!

We were two couples in Hilo for a few days and enjoyed our stay at StayPlayAloha! It has been thoughtfully done with all your needs met. The house is in a residential setting, but close to a big KTA grocery store so you can get what you need there. The kitchen and bathrooms have nice new supplies (towels, dishes etc). It met our needs very well. The owners were quick to respond to a question we had and it's obvious they want to provide you with a great home base for your time in Hilo.

Great Place for Home Base

My mother and I stayed at this house for a week and we loved it. It was in a great location to serve as a home base for exploring the big island; not far from downtown Hilo, about a 5 minute drive, but on the outskirts of town so that it was easy to get to other places. This is in the shopping area of town, so there are multiple grocery stores and food options close by. I liked that it was down a dead end street and not in a housing development. The house itself was great! It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen was well outfitted with pots, pans, and dishes that looked new. The pantry only provided the very basics (salt, pepper, and flour) though. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the bathrooms were well outfitted too. I liked the lanai the most though... the backyard of this property backs to a luscious green belt, which is what the lanai looks out to, with a peekaboo view of the summit of Mona Kea and the observatories. We stayed in January so the green belt was just very green, but I'm sure during spring and summer there are many flowers and lovely aromas! It was a pleasant view and a nice place to hang out in the evening... except for the mosquitos! Bring bug spray if you're prone to mosquitos- it's not a fault of the house though, since they're everywhere in Hawaii. Also, it is mentioned in the listing but be prepared for the wild roosters. They were very loud each day, and were constantly calling! Again though, not a problem of the property since we saw wild roosters all over the big island. Just bring ear plugs if you need them to sleep. Finally, the homeowner Shauna was amazing! She was extremely responsive, usually replying to any inquiries I had within 15 minutes. I had none during my stay because everything went smoothly, but had a few questions prior to booking. Knowing that the owner is highly responsive is helpful for peace of mind in case there had been any problems.

Cute house with plenty of extras

This is a great apartment. It appears to be recently renovated/decorated and is really cute. I loved the porch out back with twinkle lights. The beds (including the sofa bed) are all very comfy and the kitchen and bathrooms are well supplied with everything you might need. The owners have done a great job putting together useful tourist information as well as all the information you’ll need for the apartment. Check-in/arrival and access to the apartment is all very easy and straight forward. Guests should be aware that this is not a resort, it’s a house in a typical neighbourhood so don’t be surprised if a rooster shows up....
